Rambling Up And Down And Not a Bar To See

Advantages: A nice place to go if your looking for a meal

...The end of September saw my visit to Barcelona to celebrate my 21st Birthday and one of the things we did much to the surprise of many including ourselves was the touristy bit. When you tell people who?ve been before that your off to Barcelona they will tell you about one street in the City, La Rambla. The same can be said for any guide book you look in, this is down as one of the main streets in the City where the sea is linked with the middle of the City. La Rambla stretches from Plaça de Catalunya for one mile down towards the sea Port Vell and the Colom La Rambla. The mile walk takes about 15 minutes but this is one of few streets in the city where Pedestrians take privilege with a large cobbled walkway with a road up either side for heading in each direction. Praktik Rambla - New stylish hotel in the centre of Barcelona

Advantages: Fantastic design of the hotel, great location, great price, friendly staff, very clean hotel
Disadvantages: No minibar or tea/coffee making facilities, 'open-space' bathroom, TV loosing signal

...The Hotel Comercio is situated in such a exquisite location in Barcelona. Just off the famous "La Ramblas" it is perfect for those wishing to see the many sights in Barcelona. Only a 30 second walk from La Ramblas, it is also right next to Liceu metro station. La Ramblas is great for shopping, eating out and nights out. Always packed with tourists, it is a must see for anyone visiting Barcelona. The Hotel itself is a very clean hotel with a modern interior and good facilities such as *en suite rooms *loackable safes *breakfast room for B and B which comes as standard in the price. Lifts also help with baggage transport and the rooms are substantial with wardrobes, a TV and phone. The staff are friendly, and although struggle sometimes with the the language barrier, are kind and will try and help with anything you need...

I think it says a lot about the enduring attraction of food markets that the Boqueria is still so popular in spite of the fact that our supermarkets now stock excellent produce from all over the world and that air travel and border restrictions have made it more difficult to take fresh produce home from trips abroad. When I first visited the Boqueria I was filled with excitement at the array of colourful fresh produce ? fruit and vegetables, herbs, fish and shellfish, meats ? fresh and cured, bread, nuts and dried fruit ? on sale at the market but over time, as I have traveled more widely, "La Boqueria" has lost a little of its gloss. ...On our recent trip to the Loire Valley Mr Tart and myself arrived in Tours quite late on our first night. We drove down to Tours from Paris. We were going to stop for something to eat on the way but in the end decided to make our way straight to Tours and get settled in the hotel and then find something close by. A couple of minutes from our hotel we came across this place and were really glad that we did. LOCATION: La Chope is located at 25 Avenue Grammont. Our hotel was on the same road so we just came across it. It is about a ten minute walk from Tours? old town. The restaurant doesn?t stand out and the sign is not particularly bright so make sure you look out for it.   La Senza: A Case of 'Bra-vo'?

...If i need to buy lingerie there is only one place that I go to and that is La Senza. La Senza is great and stocks everything from underwear, bras, slippers, nightwear and dressing gowns. They have great bra's im many different styles and colours that have matching underwear you will always find what your are looking for. They have the multiways bra's and the bra solutions too, which is great especially if you are planning on wearing say a backless dress for example. I have learnt over the years that you can get great offers in La Senza on there buy one get one free, or the buy so many items for a set price. Which is fantastic as you otherwse find that a few sets cost you over £50. I would also recommend that you try the bra's on as i find that i am a different size bra in each different style. Advantages: Real nice stuff- very sexy- great range.
Disadvantages: the sizes vary with each bra.

...La Senza. Well, what is NOT amazing about it? When i walk into the doors of La Senza i am always greated with a warm welcoming from their trained staff. The selections are always set out neatly and i feel that i'm not going into a jumble sale; as with many shops that i have been into. The styles of Bras and underwear are very nice, however, as a student i would have to say that some are rather expensive. However, they do do the odd deal that i find rather benefitial, so they ARE considering those that are poor and wish to dazzle their other halfs ;). However, One thing i would say that is a disadvantage is that they do not accomidate for larger sizes. One size i know they do not do as a fact is size 44D, which is rather rubbish if you happen to be that size. However, being within the size boundaries i am able to find a large range...
