Dymo 320 labelWriter. Well worth buying
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by
Martinscholes
Advantages: Easy to operate
Disadvantages: None
...The Dymo 320 LabelWriter is sat to the right of my desk at work and it cost about £90.00. It has already saved this many times over in terms of saved time, money and reduced stress on staff!
For some reason our large digital printer/copier hates printing labels. After the third time of having to have the service engineer come out to remove a rogue label that had become glued to the drum ,our head of IT decided that it would be better to buy a label printer.
We decided to buy a Dymo 320 LabelWriter. It can be networked and so is shared by a number of people in our very busy publishing company, being shared by IT, sales, editorial and accounts.
It is fairly easy to load with paper rolls and automatically lines the role up at the start of using the roll. The labels are easy to pull off and it does a good, professional job of printing...

As Easy As 1,2,3
Review of PressIT CD Labelling Kit by
tracythomson
Advantages: Easy to Use, Simple Software
Disadvantages: PressIT Labels can be more expensive than clones available
...The PressIT labeler kit is a very simple and easy to use product. It is designed to make applying CD labels as easy as 123.
1 - Make your Label Design (or download it if you are making a backup copy of your music/data/Playstation CDs - try www.mega-search.net)using the software provided with the PressIT Kit.
2 - Print your label on the PressIT labels supplied.Peel off label and place on PressIT labeler and place you CD on the device.
3 - Simply press the button and Hey-Presto your label is perfectly centred on your CD.
This product gives a great quality finish to your CDs and is very cost effective. It should cost around £20 for your initial kit (including labeler, software and a few labels). I personally buy clone labels with the same layout as the PressIT format at around £3 for 50 - so it pays to shop around at local PC...

Time Saving Devices No1
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
paranoidcookie
Advantages: Top time saver for ebayaholics
Disadvantages: The labels can be a bit pricy
...If you are like me and like to send quiet a lot of items in the post it can be pretty tedious filling out envelopes and while most printers can print onto standard sized envelopes they cant usually deal with things like jiffies bags.
The dymo is a simple little printer aimed solely at printing little adhesive labels which you stick onto parcels, jiffy bags and packages. You can also make little labels to stick onto things, I labelled up some of my storage boxes with contents.
The package came with a usb cable, software cd, initial roll of labels and thermal paper. The drivers were easy to install and integrated with Word, and my address book. The software works for both PC (Windows XP) and Apple Macintosh though you would have to go onto dymo's website to get it to work with the very latest Macs.
I bought the dymo from Misco (www...

If you print labels, you NEED this
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 by
The-Entertainment-King
Advantages: No Messing about with sheet labels
Disadvantages: None
...I purchased this printer as I was fed up printing out on sheet labels. I had originally used a Brother labelprinter at work which made me think more along the lines of getting one of them. Having searched the net, came across this one (which is much neater than the brother one) and eventually bought it.
Comes with everything you need to get started, sample roll of labels, printer, cables, drivers and software.
Very Easy to setup though it did take me a couple of minutes to work out how to fit the roll of labels, which is actually very straight forward.
Comes with its own software so you can have an address book within it (can be imported also) so just click on details and print label right away with the click of a button. There are LOADS of labels available which I have also bought a selection of so it is available at any time I may need...

Neato (Fellowes) 2 Up CD/DVD Labels #99962
Review of NEATO - matt photo paper - 100 pcs. by
24Sarthe24
Advantages: Perfect Set-Up and Perfect Results
Disadvantages: None
...I felt it was about time that someone wrote a review for these labels. They're THAT good!
I make a lot of DVDs (I'm converting a lot of my old VHS tapes with surprisingly good results) and music CDs from MP3s downloaded from the internet. I prefer to label up the CDs and DVDs rather than just scribble the details on the disk and for this purpose I always use Nero Cover Designer.
I searched for ages for labels which actually print accurately in my ageing HP Deskjet 960c. I tried many kinds but they all needed fiddly adjustments to get them even vaguely accurate - until I tried the Neato (Fellowes) 99962 labels. They're freely available on the internet at about £5.50 for a 50 label pack and they come on a two label sheet. I bought my first pack from Dixons, the High Street store (which still sells them - but for £9.99 a pack...

To Print or not to print, that is the question
Review of NEATO - glossy photo paper - 40 pcs. by
skrg28
Advantages: High quality good printing
Disadvantages: expensive in small amounts
...General Stuff
I purchased a 24 pack of Neato CD labels from my local supplier for £4.99. Having looked around this looks like it was quite expensive.
These one's were the high gloss labels.
If like me you sometimes like to stuff up the printing then 24 isn't that much assuming you have written off 2 or 3 for miss prints.
The Fellowes labels are specifically designed to be used with either Mediaface 4 or Microsoft Word software applications. Not having a copy of Mediaface and not wanting to use Word I decided to try them with Nero 7 premium.
I have to say that I was more than satisfied with this. The labels were immediately compatible with Nero. I wont go into how I went about it but the Neato labels were of a standard format already available to print against in Nero……great, saves loads of time.
Quality
I was quite impressed...

The simplest, easiest printer money can buy
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
Dave1508
Advantages: Simple set up, ease of use, friendly software interface
Disadvantages: Not a colour printer(If that is a disadvantage!!)
...Ever found printing off labels with the inkjet, a complete pain to setup? This is the simplest machine I've ever used. Just throw in the setup disc folow the on screen instructions and you're there. Once set up the Dymo label software, which comes with the printer, coudn't make life any easier. With its own address book, label designer, just pick the label number from the drop down list add the details, and print! Other sources can also be printed, such as Excel, access and wordperfect. The Help guide is actually informative, and produces a good step by step guide.
Printing is almost instantaneous, unlike the standard Inkjet printer, as the data transferred is miniscule. It comes complete with USB cable and power supply, all instructions and software. Also included is a handy Labels Swatch book, for a quick reference to all the Dymo label...

My handy little office princess
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Only uses one label at a time
Disadvantages: Doesn't print in colour
...Have you ever had the misfortune to put a sheet of sticky labels into your printer and for that same sheet to stick to the roller? What was the result? Big, black splodges all over the paper? Well this happened to me and what a resulting mess. In the end, I had to dump the hardly-used new cartridge and put another new one in so this was an expensive mistake – each toner cartridge cost approximately £120. Now I know there is a label on the market now that claims they don’t stick in the printer but I am not too sure about them.
My company (well, it’s not actually MY company but you know what I mean) buys boxes of labels (usually 14 labels per sheet) and they are absolutely great if I need to print off a whole sheet of a particular address but what happens when I only need one label? Most times, I can put the envelope into my printer...

Great Little Label Writer
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 Turbo by
Blondie1005
Advantages: High
Disadvantages: No Colour Option
...The Dymo Labelwriter 400 turbo is a superb little printer which comes with its own software that is really easy to use. It offers functions including barcode printing, plus add-ins for instant printing from Microsoft Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, ACT!, Goldmine, Palm Desktop version 4 or later, WordPerfect® and more. This little printer offers speeds of 55 labels a minute, an average of just over a second per label. However this never seems to happen and I have never witnessed these sorts of speeds. I use the Labelwriter connected to my pc via a usb cable with no problems. I also have enabled sharing for it so other people can use it to. However these is a draw back with this that it can be quite slow printing when someone else prints. (Note this could be because of Pc but I am unable to prove/disprove this).
In conclusion this is a great...

Dymo's Dynamo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by
jayandfoo
Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour
...At the beginning of this year, we ordered a Dymo Labelwriter 320 from PC World Business.
I had never used one of these before, but we were in definite need of one, myself in particular. I work in a busy Accounts department and Sales Invoices and Payments are sent out nearly every day. We couldn't use Window envelopes for the invoices, due to the way they were set out, so each time I needed to send an invoice, I would use a sheet of 21 Address labels. It got to the point where not only was I getting peeved at being at the printer every five minutes for one measly label, but our printer was unreliable and so messed up a lot of the labels, resulting in a lot of waste. That's when the Dymo labelwriter was mentioned by a colleague who had used one in a previous job.
I originally went onto www.dymo.co.uk to check out the Labelwriter...
