Dymo 320 labelWriter. Well worth buying
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by
Martinscholes
Advantages: Easy to operate
Disadvantages: None
...The Dymo 320 LabelWriter is sat to the right of my desk at work and it cost about £90.00. It has already saved this many times over in terms of saved time, money and reduced stress on staff!
For some reason our large digital printer/copier hates printing labels. After the third time of having to have the service engineer come out to remove a rogue label that had become glued to the drum ,our head of IT decided that it would be better to buy a label printer.
We decided to buy a Dymo 320 LabelWriter. It can be networked and so is shared by a number of people in our very busy publishing company, being shared by IT, sales, editorial and accounts.
It is fairly easy to load with paper rolls and automatically lines the role up at the start of using the roll. The labels are easy to pull off and it does a good, professional job...

Dymo's Dynamo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 320 by
jayandfoo
Advantages: Handy to use, great quality labels, never runs out of ink
Disadvantages: Quite expensive, noisy, can't print colour
...At the beginning of this year, we ordered a Dymo Labelwriter 320 from PC World Business.
I had never used one of these before, but we were in definite need of one, myself in particular. I work in a busy Accounts department and Sales Invoices and Payments are sent out nearly every day. We couldn't use Window envelopes for the invoices, due to the way they were set out, so each time I needed to send an invoice, I would use a sheet of 21 Address labels. It got to the point where not only was I getting peeved at being at the printer every five minutes for one measly label, but our printer was unreliable and so messed up a lot of the labels, resulting in a lot of waste. That's when the Dymo labelwriter was mentioned by a colleague who had used one in a previous job.
I originally went onto www.dymo.co.uk to check out the Labelwriter...

My handy little office princess
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 310 by
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Only uses one label at a time
Disadvantages: Doesn't print in colour
...printer and print the address straight onto the envelope but for some envelopes this is not possible. What if I want to put one label onto a file? It’s great to put a sheet of labels into the printer and then just print the text on one of the labels. The rest of the sheet is then prone to sticking on your printer roller when you re-use it in the printer again, as described above. I like my files and paperwork to look neat and tidy and have typed labels on them. I hate to see handwritten labels on the files, I think they look totally unprofessional.
So, my dilemma, how do I get around this problem?
Watching TV the other week, I saw an advert for a DYMO LabelWriter machine which prints out one label at a time. Whoppeee!!! I thought. This sounds like the answer to my prayers. Now, my company uses a local firm which supplies office...

Great Little Label Writer
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 400 Turbo by
Blondie1005
Advantages: High
Disadvantages: No Colour Option
...The Dymo Labelwriter 400 turbo is a superb little printer which comes with its own software that is really easy to use. It offers functions including barcode printing, plus add-ins for instant printing from Microsoft Word, Outlook, QuickBooks, ACT!, Goldmine, Palm Desktop version 4 or later, WordPerfect® and more. This little printer offers speeds of 55 labels a minute, an average of just over a second per label. However this never seems to happen and I have never witnessed these sorts of speeds. I use the Labelwriter connected to my pc via a usb cable with no problems. I also have enabled sharing for it so other people can use it to. However these is a draw back with this that it can be quite slow printing when someone else prints. (Note this could be because of Pc but I am unable to prove/disprove this).
In conclusion...

My friend called Dymo!
Review of DYMO LabelWriter 330 Turbo by
nuttynaomi
Advantages: Fast, Looks neat and sexy like me!!!!
Disadvantages: only black and white.
...like:-
----------------------
As can be seen from the picture above, it looks like a biome at the Eden Project! With the see-through flip-top on it. This is where you can see how many labels you have left. On the front of it there is a little gap where the labels shoot out and there is a cutter inset in the gap so you can rip the labels off with ease.
At the bottom on the from there is a little red button that matches the red bottom of it (like me ;) ) and this button, when pressed, will dispense a label for you. Im not to sure of the use for a blank label, but the option is there for you if you wish.
On the front it has "Dymo LabelWriter" …. "330 Turbo" www.dymo.com

Installing the printer:-

This was also very easy to do. When you work out how you want to connect to your...

No reason to mess up the filing!!
Review of DYMO LabelPOINT 150 by
petal99
Advantages: So easy to use
Disadvantages: A bit heavy
...I got this gadget through the stationary suppliers we use here at work and cannot tell you how useful this is, all assistants have it and it really does make your life so easy!!
Dymo is a company that produces label makers of all sorts of sizes and for all different usages going from office to warehouse therefore from simple ones to more durable results for example. In my case I got this model which is not one of the most complicated ones but definitely does the job and does it well and quick!
THE LABELWRITER
**********
The size of this item is roughly 16 cm x 9 cm x 4.5 cm. It has a bit of a "mushroom" shape which means that you can easily grip it, the display is on the larger area therefore you have a better view of what you are writing. It is a bit heavy I have to confess, suppose the batteries inside do not help it (may...

They're my opinions and I'm sticking to them!
Review of Everything that starts with O ... by
Wearsidelass
Advantages: Gets it off my chest
Disadvantages: Some people may not like my views
...?

I work in an environment which is still very much male dominated. There isn't a female on the board of directors and, come to think of it, no female directors in any of the subsidiary companies either.
However, I must add that I hated working for women. I have had two previous jobs working for a woman boss and I didn't like it. I can get away with much more when working for a man! For instance, if I want something eg. my DYMO 310 LabelWriter, or a colour printer, or going on a PhotoShop 7 course then I know I need to approach my boss on a Friday afternoon because he is always in a good mood and I always get a positive answer. However, I don't think I would be able to do that with a female boss. She would know exactly what I was up to and probably have her argument ready as to why she couldn't spend so much money on office...
