...A cheap simple laminator. choose either 2x75(150) micron or 2x125 (250)micron pouches. I prefer the 250 pouches for a nice strong finished sheet. Simply set the heat switch according to which ever pouch you have and wait a few minutes while it warms up. A light tells you when it is at correct temp . As you wait you can place your paper in your pouch. Do not use paper smaller than your pouches stated use eg A4 paper in an A4 pouch. Correct sizing leaves approx 3-4 mm of pouch around the edges of the paper. Paper free areas wider than this will warp in the machine or even melt. Do not put two sheets in one pouch only one full sheet. So it takes a few moments to correctly set the paper in the pouch. A pouch is two sheets joined at a crease along the top so fitting your paper neatly into the crease should help line things up...

My second A3

Disadvantages: Centre arm rest makes use of handbrake a pain

...Recently I bought a new a3, i chose it to replace the a3 I had at the time which had proved economical, reliable and reasonably nippy, it was a 1.6. The real determining factor for me though was the fact that the 1.6 was written off when a 52 seater bus didn't bother breaking and smahed the rear end in. Standing back and looking at the damage I was impressed that the tailgate had still about a foot or so to go before reaching the back seats. Granted the bus probably wasn't doing more than 30 mile an hour, but I was stationary. So replaced the 1.6 with a 1.9tdi , 6gear. Having 130 bhp certainly makes a difference and this thing is quick when you want it but very economical if you're just cruising. I get around 600 miles on a tank. The seating position is pretty adjustable, my car has the usual forward/back/tilt and backrest...

Laminating required

Advantages: so quick and easy to use
Disadvantages: more suited for home than in the work place

...Wow The Laminator has now gone down in price to £9.87 I found the WHSmith A4 Laminator for just £14.99 and because we had basic needs felt this would be efficient enough for the job in hand which it was for a while at least. It is very stylish in looks and nice and compact when placed on the desk. I also bought 50 A4 pouches at the same time also from WHSmith and these cost £7.99 which is really expensive because you can get 250 A4 pouches on the internet for under £5 You do have to be careful because small bubbles often appear but you can prick these with a needle and it is ok. If you wrinkle the laminate then give up and start again. Where I work we change the menu on a monthly basis to ensure in season local food is used as much as possible. By the end of the week the menus are looking tired, crumpled and frayed...

Audi A3 blows away Golf and 1 Series

Advantages: Super looks, great build quality

...Audi is a german company. I could leave it there, but audi currently i believe lead the german luxury car market, the A3's competitors are the VW Golf and the BMW 1 series, this mercedes currently not offering a sporty hatchback. The golf firstly won't give you the same luxury that the A3 will which justifies it being £6000 cheaper, and the 1 series will give you the luxury at a slightly most expensive price and without the sporty looks of the A3. The A3 in fact runs over the other two in the looks department, with audi's signature large grill, it looks like a beast and is one, the S-line will offer you even better sporty look with nicer trim without having to fork out for the S3. The S-line is basically an option that gives in an enhanced sporty look almost as good as the S3 and the S-line option is available in the 5-door option...

Whiskas Pouches - By Whizz the cat!

...whole realy human peas in them - wow), lamb and carrots (again real human pieces of carrot) and game (yuck!) You can also get them in the jelly variety but to me this looks too sickly and stuck together, not appetising at all!! One day I might like to try the fish flavours too, perhaps I will catch a fish from the pond today and leave it as a present on the doorstep to give them a hint, hum.....good idea. My owner always brags when she comes home with my food that she got a really good deal on my dinenr tonight. Apparently you can get a box of 12 x100g pouches for £3.08 each at Sainsburys but if you buy two packets you get them for £5. I always hope that she will buy me a little toy with the money she has saved but alas no, it goes into her shoe collection box! Ahh, sometimes I feel so unloved. But then I think back to my Whiskas...

Cheap and cheerful A3 scanner

...If like me you work mainly in A3, I am sure you have discovered that although cheap A4 printers are two a penny, there is a distinct lack of choice of A3 scanners, or at least affordable ones! So with a budget of less than £100, I had a choice of, well, one scanner?.So needless to say I went with that one, the Mustek ScanExpress A3 USB! Appearance Well, although not attractive it is very compact! Only marginally larger than an A3 sheet, I can't see how it could be any more space saving, well other than a vertical scanner I guess! Although it's a new model (based on the Mustek ScanExpress A3, non USB version!) it is only available in computer beige, so Mustek appear to be lagging behind a bit and missing the whole grey computer revelation, which is a bit of a shame when you consider most scanners sit on a desk in full view...

Purrfect way to say pennies - Vitacat Pouches

...what you would find in a whiskas pouch (although doesn't come out of the packet with quiet as much ease). The only noticable thing is the meat pieces are more square and don't look quite as chunky (although they contain the same amount of food per pack as a whiskas pouch). And yes I am pleased to report the culinary expert (ie the cat) loved them and we have never looked back since, plus we are saving a few pennies too, which is a big plus. Where to Buy Vitacat is available from your local Aldi store The Cost £2.19 for a box of 12 pouches. Our cat loves the Jelly selection which contains: 3 Duck & Liver 3 Chicken 3 Turkey 3 Tuna There are other alternative ie the fish selection and they also do a gravy option if your cat doesn't like jelly. ...In March of 2004 I purchased a three year old, Y-reg Audi A3 1.8 Turbo-sport three door. The first thing that struck me with this car was the build quality and feeling of being in a very solid car. Despite being a smaller-sized hatch, this car has a surprisingly large amount of front space and a boot that could swallow whole families. Yes, the rear seats do have less leg room than you would expect in a car of this size, but the front sports seats cause this. In the non-sport model, the standard seats do allow for exra legs in the rear. The boot can comfortably hold three sets of golf clubs and if I collapse one side of the 2/3 split rear seats, six can easliy be squeezed in.
