...Most people will have heard of 'lands end' because of the famous 'lands end to john o groats walks'. Lands end is the headland of the Penwith Peninsula and is the most westerly tip of the southern mainland. It is situated approximately 9 miles west of Penzance and is surrounded by some spectacular views of the atlantic ocean. Its vey popular and today is one of the most visited outdoor attractions in Cornwall; I've visited every time I've been to Cornwall. As already mentioned the main reason that most people visit lands end is because of the surrounding views and the fact that you are at the most westerly point of the southern mainland. Look at the Land of Leather!

Advantages: good quality suites
Disadvantages: waiting time for suites

...As some of you may know i have recently moved house and i have purchased my leather suite from the land of leather, i just had to write a review on the level of service i recieved and the quality of the suite itself. So it was the beginning of April and some of you may recall an advertisement being on television for the land of leather a range of special deals for one day only. So as i was interested in buying a new suite i took a drive to my nearest land of leather to view the suites which where part of this special twelve hour spectacular. The showroom had a magnificient range of leather and material sofas and chairs in many shapes and sizes at quite reasonable prices as other furniture showrooms i had been to before had been expensive. Land of the excess packaging

Advantages: It was the only sofa we all liked.
Disadvantages: Their competitors appear to be better service wise

...There don't seem to be many good reviews about Land of leather floating around here, so to balance things out a tiny bit, here's my experience of buying my sofa. Just after Christmas we had already decided we were going to treat ourselves with a bit of money left over from our mortgage to buy a nice new suite for the lounge. As all the sales are happening we deliberately waited until after Christmas to do this. We automatically headed for the nearest DFS as they seem to be the ones that push and push their adverts through the media and always stick in my mind. When Knots Landing First Landed - Season 1

Advantages: Brought back some great memories of growing up in the late 70s/early 80s
Disadvantages: Some might find it too dated

Land of the Dull

Advantages: Some of the extras included on this DVD are quite interesting, decent special effects.
Disadvantages: The film is very dull, the acting performances are incredibly poor.

Land of broken promises

...When you buy a sofa, suite or any large item of furniture it takes not only your hard earned cash but time and heartache finding what you want... and sometimes near divorce if you go looking together with your other half.. or worse with the kids. We decided to look for a suite last year and found one in Land of Leather in the 'Pre xmas sale'. as if.. since then I'v been told there is no such thing, they just mark the items higher hoping people will buy them during the period before, and then drop the price knowing that more people look for these items during certain times of the year... regardless of that we did find what I thought was a great suite. We signed up for the finace option as this gave us the option to pay it off in one go in 12 months... so it was 12 months interest free.. you do get the option to take longer to pay...

Advantages: Cheap, fast delivery on instock items
Disadvantages: cheeky, rude, unhelpful, ignorant staff

...I was moving into a new flat and i needed a new suite. This was the first i had occasion to buy one and as far as i was aware you ordered the one you wanted and within a week or two you would receive it. Everywhere i looked for sofas i was told the same thing, it should take about 12 weeks to be delivered. At 5 months pregnant i really didn't fancy having to sit on the floor for 3 months and due to the cost of the suite and other expenses we couldn't afford a table and chairs at the same time, so when we arrived at land of leather we were over the moon to be shown the range of furniture they had available for immediate delivery. So we set about picking out one we both agreed on within our budget. We found a lovely cream 3 piece suite at a reasonable price, and double checked they had them in stock, the salesman said they had a good few...
