...If you enjoy playing online on your xbox 360 and your router is not easily accessible with wires then you should seriously consder getting yourself a wireless adapter. The Adapter cost around £50-£60 which I think is ridiculously over priced for what is simply a wireless adapter which generally cost aroud £10, but seeing as it is the only option for wireless gaming on the Xbox 360 then if you really want wireless it is your only option. Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

It's fast, cute, and does everything we need. You can get it in a variety of colors, either for free if there is an offer on or for about 30 quid otherwise. ...i got one of these because i didn't want wires everywhere in our house. when i first put it in it wouldn'tt connect up to my wireless router(linksys). i called up a help line and they said that they had no idea how to fix it so i ended up having to buy a new one (netgear). with this it works well most of them time but if it doesn't always work. i think that may be down to the router but it may be the adapter. anyway it works most the time pretty well. i think it is ridiculously over priced thought. When i got it it was £60. but i needed it because i didn't want a load of wires around the house. i thnk they are fairly good and work most of the time but are over priced....

...The xbox 360 wireless adapter is essentially, exactly what it says on the tine, it is only required as a neccesity to get onto xbox live in a place usin a wireless network, microsfot have seized on this opportunity to charge over the odds for a small piece of plastic , retailing in the region of £60 , especially when you consider the nintendo Wii has a wireless adapter built in. As a product, the adapter is easy to install, clipping onto the back of the console, reliable and discreet, offering flawless online gameplay as if it were connected via ethernet cable. The only downside to this is the price and i for one feel it should be included in the console package to fully compete with other consoles...

...i bought this for £50 second hand, and i found it very easy to use and it connected to my modem in minutes, but i know not everyone connects it as easy as i did, infact i couldnt connect it to my old router when i first got an xbox 360, so then i went for the ethernet cable method which is ideal if the router is in the same room as the xbox 360 because its much cheaper, gauranteed to work and normally makes connection better, but in my case i had a 30m ethernet cable running down my stairs which is not ideal! therefore when i bought my xbox 360 back i wanted to get it sorted with the network adapter. Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

...The Dell Inspiron 1545 is an easy to use entry level laptop. Unlike two years ago when I bought my previous laptop, you can now get a number of Dell computers (of which this is one) direct from high street retailers. This is good if you want it in a rush and want a nearby place to handle any issues, but has the disadvantage that you can't customise your laptop to your own requirements to the same extent that you can if you buy it direct from Dell (which takes several weeks). Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic.
Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about

When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...
