Big laptop Small money

...I have used Dell Inspiron 1545 for a couple of months. I'm glad I made right decision. My friend who works in computer filed suggested me this one after asking me my demand for a laptop. First , I would like to say , it can totally meet all requirements I expected from a good laptop. I use it to write articles especially for my blog, to send and receive emails, to talk on MSN and Skype with my family and friends abroad. It never let me down. I also used it to watch TV including the programs on BBC Iplayer. Compared to my desk computer, I can feel the speed on my laptop was faster and the stability of the network was better. Second, it has nice overall design. Slim, Simple and sleek. You have three colors to choose . I chose the black one that matches from outside to inside. Review of Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop

Nice laptop, FAB extended warranty!

Advantages: Good specs, fast, wonderful extended warranties
Disadvantages: Feels a bit flimsy, no indicator lights showing wifi connection, etc.

...warranties on my next Dell when I replace my current laptop later this year (the Dell we just bought was for my husband). Also, these warranties can be transferred to another country. If you move, just contact dell in that country and transfer the warranty over. It was also possible to order it with a U.S. keyboard layout, which we wanted and could find no other company in the UK that would do that for us....

Dell Inspiron 1545 - good entry level laptop

Advantages: Cheap, good brand, lots of features,
Disadvantages: Probably not powerful enough for games, bottom of the market now

...family's files were lost in the reinstall, so I didn't even have to restore things from backup. Like other Inspiron laptops, the computer feels reasonably solid, weighing about 2.5kg. The finish is very shiny and doesn't feel cheap. The TrueLife screen offers excellent viewing quality, but is very reflective. I found the widescreen ratio to be a little bit hard to get used to - the screen is shorter and wider, so you have to page down more often. The computer connected easily to the wireless router, which was just as well because the Ethernet port came loose after only a few months. The battery life wasn't fantastic, but if you mainly use it plugged in, then this isn't an issue. The keyboard was much like any other laptop keyboard - obviously the keys don't go down as far as a regular keyboard that comes with a desktop and sound a bit clicky...

The dell inspiron laptop is it a good buy!

Advantages: The look of the dell inspiron laptop seems more classy then other notepads. It is simplistic.
Disadvantages: Maybe Dell Have gone too simplistic with this model as the features are nothing to rave about

...The Dell inspiron laptop has an attractive classy look, it has a simplistic stream-line look. When I take it out its case I feel good about it because its not a big bulky embarassing computer thing. However, if your one for keeping everything clean and tidy and no smudges anywhere, then maybe you might be irritated by this laptop. With its glossy look smudges, smears and fingerprints stand out like a sore thumb. You feel like your constantly wiping it. You also have to watch what you wipe the laptop with as it is quite easy to scratch. A better idea for Dell would be to provide a cloth to clean it with, one they know wont damage your laptop. It would be a real bummer to scratch it while cleaning it. I also decided to get the colour black because there wasnt a lot of colours to choose from which I found quite dissapointing as...

Fantastic keyboard, so lovely to type on...

Advantages: Separated keys; very nice to type on, very nice to look at (doh!)

...I've just purchased the Apple Snow Leopard Mac Box Set from my local Apple authorised service provider, and decided to buy an Apple keyboard with it. The Apple keyboard is priced around £28.00 - and no matter what keyboard I try I can type the fastest with this keyboard due to the separated keys. Very quiet key stroke during operation and just very pleasant to use. The keyboard enclosure is made from aluminium and even without being too close to the keyboard you can smell the aluminium when you first open the product, but the smell soon wares off. Nothing bad or anything - just saying! I actually purchased the keyboard without the numeric keypad - but you can purchase one with or without the numeric keypad usually at the same price. Apple Keyboard

Advantages: Good Multimedia Keys, Flat Desgin, Very Easy to Type.
Disadvantages: Need's OS X Tiger with the latest update or higher, No good on Windows.

...This Apple Keyboard has to be one of the best Apple have ever made. First of with the design, Taking after the Mac Book Keyboard style, it feels like typing on Laptop Keyboard. Typing is very quick and easy. The Keyboard is VERY thin and so it's very easy to move around but will stay where it's put. The Keyboard also has multimedia Keys. These Keys work on OS X good and will work on Windows with Boot Camp Drivers. The Keyboard it self works Plug and Play in Windows but only the standard stuff work. The Keyboard has Brightness, Exposé, Dashboard, Track skip, Pause/Play, Mute, Volume Keys and a Eject Button. ...Having watched this film on Channel 4 at the weekend (I have the DVD also but just had to watch it) I've decided to review it for anyone who hasn't seen it. Although, I see that a lot of people have already seen it as the UK premier on Channel 4 attracted 1 million viewers!! The Notebook is a beautiful romance that still makes me cry after numerous viewings. It is poignant, romantic, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one. The Notebook was actually developed from a book written by the American author Nicholas Sparks in 1996. It spent over a year as a hardcover best seller. The film version was released in 2004. ...This is a good quality keyboard that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product....
