...this is a great entry level laptop. great as a second computor, I bought this as a second computer for studying whilst out of the house. with an intel celeron m430 1.7ghz processor, 256mb ddrii ram (upto 128mb shared with the on board graphics) this is not built for performance, it will struggle with programs, games or applications that rely heavily on 3d graphics but for general use it does the job. If bought as a second computer it can be connected to a router via the built in ethernet card or if you have a wireless router the built in railink wireless network interface card makes networking a doddle for beginners and experts alike. if the 13.3" tft screen is a bit small you do have a tv out (s-video) port on the side or a vga out port to connect to another monitor. it also has 3 usb 2.0 ports if you want to add any... Advantages: Sleek, Light, Thin, Great Screen, Fast processor, Plently of memory, large hard drive, and cleverly designed floppy disk drive/port replica.
Disadvantages: No cooling fan; often overheats.

...I was shopping for a notebook in Singapore when a store clerk introduced me to the Sharp PC-A280. I quickly fell in love with this cool silver notebook instantly, and I am still using it now. The notebook itself is a miracle of technology. It is light and thin, and it is reliable. This screen is one of the brightest and most even lit of the notebooks I've used. I upgraded the A-280 to 128 mbs of ram and the A-280 works faster than ever. The keyboard is wonderfully springy and the touchpad is very responsive. The only problem is that the A-280 constantly overheats. Otherwise, it is pratically perfect. I would highly recommened it to any road warrior.... Read review

Advantages: Teaches maths, the alphabet. Light, easy to carry around,and cheap.

...is a specilly designed computer for children, children from the age of 3 years old. This laptop is also designed for small hands, which makes it very easy for children to use, so it's a quite small Laptop with a small keyboard. This Laptop is quite a chunky laptop maded out of strong plastic. It is very colourful, mostly yellow in colour, very eyecatching for children. Once you open the Laptop and turn it on, there are lovely sound effects, a cute character english voice, cheerful melodies and lots of flashing lights, all these will encourge your child to learn as they play.
