...this is another great laptop form the amilo range by fujitsu siemens brand. this has only just come out on 30 of august and has been mainly designed for use with video telephony, Internet chat, digital films and MP3 sound files. the AMILO Xi 2428 has a 15.4 inch screen and weighs 3kg, and can be configured with a second hard disk and software for double data security. the amilo xi features an Intel Centrino Duo processor with Intel Core 2 Duo processor up to T7700 which makes this run so much faster than the other amilo series and alot faster than most the laptops on the market. this laptop is bsically the smaller more portable version of the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Xi 2528. it weighs 1kg less and is a bit smaller. however its improved size doesnt effect its storage and memory and all the specs are the same, so basically if you want... ...This is yet another great laptop made by fujitsu siemens. Its basically great for having around the house, and mainly for keeping on a desk most of the time. In fact id describe this as a replacement desktop, it will run just as fast as one and is so much smaller so why not get one instead of a huge desktop pc. This particular ones the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition, which is another spin off of the designs of the amilo’s. however this one does look a lot different to all the other amilos out there and is one of my favourite designs Fujitsu have done. ...I bought this product for school work as i entered the sixth form, however on the side i really did need a good laptop as i do a lot of photo editing and web building using incredibley demanding pieces of software like Adobe CS3. I had a small budget of about £400, and was wanted the most for my money. The laptop has surprisingly good spec with a core2duo processor and 256mg ATI radeon graphics card this laptop has much better spec than others in its price range, i have had dht elaptop about 6 months and had one major problem when my bios battery had to be replaced due to a factory error only effecting mine, however the laptop went away for only 1 week a short time considering it went all the way to germany. It ispretty damn quick this laptop and is prbably the best in a price range of at least up to £500. Its a shame it has no memory... Read review

Advantages: Still works like a sunshine after 8 hours ( or more ) of heavy use.
Disadvantages: after 18 months the battery can only supply me with 27 minutes of power.

...Well, I bought this laptop in August 2006 for school. I noticed that except for the company delivery system there was not really anything wrong with this laptop. Yes, some people experience trouble with this laptop, but that is usually because they asume something. This laptop is amazing, as long as you don´t asume anything, the driver system is not exactly logical, but that can be easily solved by researching a little bit. I had problems with the screen twice ( both times my own fault ) And it got fixxed really quickly, so for the service, or the people they choose to give service in theire place, they deserve a 10/10. The speed is amazing, even after enslaving it with a memory draining game, and after that booting a 3d graphics program, it still works like a sunshine. Advantages: Lightness, good RAM and Memory.

...This computer for me was one of the best computers I have ever had and for me that is really good as I purchase a new laptop every 6 months. The advantages of buying this laptop is it's trully lightweight, huge 2GB RAM and 180MB whih is really good for the price that this is. On the other hand this laptop is prone to a bit slow for gaming but otherwise it can handle just fine. I use this for work, music and movies and software. Downloading is really quick. I got this as an offer from PC World for £350 which I thought was a fantastic deal at he time and still do. ...After recently having a problem with A Fujitsu laptop which was still in warranty I recently contacted Fujistu to arrange to have the machine looked at. The problem with the machine appeared to be that the cable connecting the screen had fractured and needed replacing. After navigating the Support call system and speaking to several people regarding this fault we appeared to travel full circle and go back to the beginning explaining the fault and symptoms. Fujitsu seem to have a good support infrastructure and policy in place which just needs some fine tuning. They need to ensure that all information is relayed as required, and to appreciate that the users placing the call have different levels of experience. (Being a support specialist, you resent being told that the fault is user error and to check the obvious even though you have... Read review

...laptop looks really good, it's a combination of black and silvery white plastic body and this two tone colour makes it look really cool and modern. It features a Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 Ghz processor which runs the 1gb of ram very well, and you'll be surprised at quite how fast this is, maybe its just how fujitsu makes their laptops, but this with only 1gb of ram seems a lot faster than some of the other brands of laptop iv come across which also had 1gb of ram installed. Another good thing about this is that the 1gb of ram can be upgraded to 2gb, however this is quite pricy and will usually cost over £50. ...This Fujitsu Siemens laptop is yet another one from the amilo range. This Amilo Pi2515 model has great design and great build quality as well as being reasonably priced. The design of this laptop is great, I personally think it’s the best amilo laptop Fujitsu Siemens have made so far, and I think it will shape how they design other laptops in the future because it really is good looking. ...Before you buy the Fujitsu likebook 7230 please read my experience. I bought the 7230 lifebook from Fujitsu direct a few weeks ago and had it configured for 1G of memory. I based this on their own user guide which says the machine has 1G of onboard memory under the keyboard which is not user accessible, and another slot on the back which is user accessible for another 1G. so i had planned to upgrage later when i found out how fast or slow it runs. turns out their online user guide is printed wrong and there is no slot under the keyboard and all the memory is in the user accessible slot on the back. So now if i want to upgrade i will have to buy a 2G chip and discard the 1G i have paid for instead of getting the 2G to start with. Which is what i would have done had i known from the start that the company changed the memory... Read review

...I really love this laptop, previously siemens haven't really made good computers or laptops but they are now starting to come out with really good products from their Fujitsu ranges. This is a amilo pro V3515, its looks stylish and is quite compact too. It features Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 GHz processor which runs the 1gb of installed ram like a dream. Also if you use demanding programs and need more ram then this can be upgraded to a maximum of 2gb. This however if quite dear to do and could cost around £50. This laptop has a great 120 GB hard drive to store all your data on, also it runs at 5400 rpm which is rather quick. A criticism to fujitsu would be that this laptop doesn't have a card reader built into it, this is something a lot of people need so i was disappointed to see it didn't contain one.
