...This is yet another great laptop made by fujitsu siemens. Its basically great for having around the house, and mainly for keeping on a desk most of the time. In fact id describe this as a replacement desktop, it will run just as fast as one and is so much smaller so why not get one instead of a huge desktop pc. This particular ones the Fujitsu Siemens AMILO Pro V3505 Edition, which is another spin off of the designs of the amilo’s. however this one does look a lot different to all the other amilos out there and is one of my favourite designs Fujitsu have done. Its combination of the colours black and silver/grey make this laptop look a lot more stylish and cooler than if it was all in just one colour. My favourite feature of this use of colour is how the grey keyboard stands out around the black bottom of the laptop... Read review

Advantages: the price
Disadvantages: everything else

...ended, my HD gave an terminal error, It broke down. (12months and 2 days). I Had to replace that (170 euro's). Now in the 14 month of me owning a amilo d1840 my adapter has exploded, and because it's an 20v 8A 4 pins adapter (which is unreplacable by an generic adapter) I have to wait for 2 weeks for an new adapter which costs me 120 euro's. This is probably the worst laptop I have ever owned! THis product is a shame for a company like Fujitsu. No reasonable support from fujitsu allthough they knew this notebook had these problems! In my comprehension this is no service, or good publicity for fujitsu, SO fujitsu, what are you people going to do about this! I could use some support for spending 2500 euro on your faulty product!!!... Read review

...the house. or maybe in the back gardens, and conecting to wirless networks through this cimputer couldnt be mre simpler. This laptop is not all that great for gaming and multimedia as it only comes with 64mb of graphics which is a real down side. is fine to view HD pictures on. the laptop comes with a 15.4 inch widescreen display which isnt all that bright, fujitsu should have improved the screen quality here! the general look of the laptop isnt all that bas, although the silver scratches very easily, which is a very dowside. overall i would reconment this laptop for persons only looking to use it for personal and everynow and then use, i wouldnt recoment it to perople who are into gaming or heavy computer users.... ...i had this notebook as replacement for a damaged computer, it was brought brand new from the shop and i regret the moment i ever clapped eyes on it, in a lot of the fujitsu laptops they all appear to get cracks on the top right hand corner of the screen and then progress to get one on the left also.. i had the computer for 2 weeks before the first crack became apparent, i just thought it was a mark and tried to clean it off with special wipes for the computer , then i realised it was a crack, it got worse and worse and now has a 1 mil gap between each bit of plastic.... around where the charger whent then progressed to small crack to big then snapped off, and the top of the computer got cracks in it too which are proceeding to spread as we speak..... the inside of the computer may be good but the outside is really cheaply... ...Ive had this laptop now for about a year and i havent had anything wrong with it but to be honest it isnt the best laptop in the world as it is abit slow when loading up and it could do with a bigger hard drive as it only has a 20gb. but if you only want a laptop to go the internet ,read your e-mails and to watch and burn dvds i would highly recommend it to anyone and as it is a bit old you can get one for around £149.99 which is realy cheap for a laptop which to be honest isnt that bad! and im sure if you have a look on ebay you could get one fo around £70 which would be a bargin! so if you are looking for a laptop which is cheap and does all the your internet , email and media needs you need to get yourself a Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook C1110.... When I first bought my computer, brand new as it was, I was pleased to see that it had a nice pair of speakers counted in it. Although the size of the speakers was, and still is quite extortionate in proportion to other speakers on the market, they have a sleek, attractive design. ...Fujitsu runs under the siemens brand name. it's a brand that has been around for ages, mainly making TV, DVD players and other electrical goods. Now you've probably all heard about siemens but not really about fujitsu and that's what could put some people off getting there laptops by thinking there a new brand and therefore not reliable. However, recently they have been making more laptops, all of which I think are very good, and its only just now that people are starting to respect them as a good laptop manufacturer too, and are now up to the likes of Acer and sony in the laptop business, however there still nowhere near as well recognised as dell are. There really isn’t any downsides to this laptop at all, well except from the extremely high price tag, but if you’ve got the money to spend then what a machine to spend it on. This fujitsu lifebook E8410, is a quite new type of laptop from the fujitsu siemens brand. These new laptops are called lifebook, and are especially designed for portability and super quick running speeds. The design of this laptop is fantastic, its combination of three main colours makes it look a lot more modern than some of its predecessors and gives it a cool edge over its rivals. ...I really love this laptop, previously siemens haven't really made good computers or laptops but they are now starting to come out with really good products from their Fujitsu ranges. This is a amilo pro V3515, its looks stylish and is quite compact too. It features Intel Pentium Dual Core T2080 / 1.73 GHz processor which runs the 1gb of installed ram like a dream. Also if you use demanding programs and need more ram then this can be upgraded to a maximum of 2gb. This however if quite dear to do and could cost around £50. This laptop has a great 120 GB hard drive to store all your data on, also it runs at 5400 rpm which is rather quick. A criticism to fujitsu would be that this laptop doesn't have a card reader built into it, this is something a lot of people need so i was disappointed to see it didn't contain one. This amilo... Disadvantages: Although helpful, the support and maintenance could be better, in particular the engineers attending need to be more considerate on the stressing of cables I think, and need to not simply resort to reinstalling windows as the catch all solution

...I originally bought this machine over 3 years ago now, and although I initially had some concerns over the sound card quality, and the usual Windows installation problems. I did manage to get reasonable support from the Fujitsu ICL helpdesk. I eventually managed to get the sound card replaced, even though there seemed to be some question as to whether the card was in fact faulty. On a particular piece of software the quality of the sound was unbearable, and although it did seem to improve after the new sound card, it did not become totally improved. One of the main advantages of buying a relatively expensive machine like the Fujitsu, has been in the realive ease of upgrading it. Even things like adding Hard Drives are all taken care of with the cables and connectors all being provided to make this reasonably painless. On other machines... Read review
