Canon Pixima IP4300
Advantages: Easy to set up, good quality picture and text output.
Disadvantages: Could have better written manual
...Around the beginning of April, I switched on my old and trusted Epson 880 and went to print out a page, nothing happened. Nothing that is, except all the lights across the front of the machine flashing on and off. A quick reference to the handbook took me to the page that read, ?If all lights are flashing, there is an internal fault. Please contact a qualified Epson engineer?. Well it was getting on for 10 years old and had served me well, so I decided it was time for a new printer.
I was fully intending to get another Epson, but the sales assistant in PC World advised me that a the Canon IP4300 was a far better buy, and would be far cheaper to run than any of the Epsons. After he showed me some of the photographic results, I was sold and I got to admit, I am very pleased with my purchase.
On getting the printer home, I found it...

Trek 4300
Advantages: Lightweight, Durable, Value for Money
Disadvantages: No lock out on the forks, no disc brakes, poor quality chainset
...After a long break from cycling I decided to get back into mountain biking. My budget was limited and I wanted something lightweight and durable.
After coming across the Trek 4300 my mind was quickly made up, lovely lightweight frame that wouldn't be out of place on bikes twice the price. A reasonable set of Shimano Alvio shifters and forks with adjustable pre-load.
Perfect for what I wanted, something I could commute to work on but also give a good thrashing around the local MTB routes.
The bike is versatile, the adjustable pre-load works well and although the forks aren't fantastic, they'll serve you well as long as you're not throwing it off 6 foot drop offs.
The only things really letting this bike down are the Suntour SR cranks. Mine were poorly fitted and the pedals had been cross threaded which meant that when I went...

laser printer
Advantages: laser printer
Disadvantages: bit dark on photos
...…………………………̷ 0;….................................................................. .................
Using a laser printer instead of a normal standard injet printer is great, there a lot faster than normal inkjet printers, there a lot more reliable and can carry on printing for ages without you worrying whether the things going to blow up or over heat or not.
But most importantly of all, they have such better print quality, the ink stands out amongst the page which is what gives you that shiny ink and picture pages and it makes documents and pictures not only look great quality, but very professional too.
This is why companies use them, so that their printed documents look a lot more professional, however all this does come at a price. These are known as office...

Good photos at a price - don't spend too much on the Coolpix 4300
Advantages: great lens = good image quality, now extremely cheap
Disadvantages: now quite old, poor design, out of date features, slow startup, battery flap weak point, bulky
...I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer completing Photography GSCE and A level, before going on to study biology. I continue with my photography, and over the years have used many digital cameras. I was given the Coolpix 4300, which was my main camera while I was at school. It may not be the best digital compact now, but, I have rediscovered it, as it is useful to have in my bag when I do not want to risk my newer, more expensive cameras to get damaged or stolen.
Technical Specifications
The spec for this Coolpix does not look particularly good in the current market. It has a pretty standard 3x optical zoom and 4MP (megapixels), and I am currently looking at a Technika in the ?Tesco direct? (like Argos) catalogue, which has 5MP for £29.97. However, megapixels are not as important as they are made out to be ? the human...

Top Notch Laser Printer for the Office
Advantages: Fast, Robust, HP Customer Support, High page yield, Serviceable
Disadvantages: Expensive official toners, Could be a bit more user friendly
...The HP LaserJet P3005N is an A4 black and white laser printer meant for office use. The company I work for had decided to standardise all printers to cut costs on toners and so they didn?t need to buy so many different toners. The main printer in use was the HP LaserJet 2420N but this was discontinued and superseded by the HP LaserJet P3005 printers so I decided on this one. The P3005 printers come in several flavours. There?s the P3005 (no network), P3005N (with network) and P3005DN (duplex, with parallel connection and network). All of them have a USB connection. The P3005N costs £436.98 at Dabs.com, with the DN version costing slightly more and I replaced four printers with P3005N?s across several sites.
The printer has two paper trays. The main tray can hold 600 sheets of paper, which is one ream of 500 sheets of paper...

Hardly A cuteLaser
Advantages: Superb Colour Quality
Disadvantages: Bit big, bit noisy and a bit fiddly
...I've lived with ink-jet printers for years. Canon gave me the first bubble-jet and Epson have supplied the later models - various models of Stylus including C80, C84 and C86.
They get heavy use for work and all have given some headaches with clogged heads.
So a mixture of desperation and hope, together with keen pricing, has led me down the colour laser printer road.
The Epson Aculaser may not be a cute laser, but it does work a treat.
Specification
++++++++++
I'll not go into all the technical stuff, it is readily available from Epson's site or any of the dealers.
But what you need to know is that this printer uses a laser and is a 4 pass machine, doing each colour separately.
That makes it a tad slower than single pass machines... but much cheaper.
It uses four toner cartridges - black, magenta, cyan and yellow...

Great Little Laser Printer for the Home
Advantages: Compact, Quick, Reliable, Good quality, Cheap Compatible toner
Disadvantages: Official HP toners expensive, No cancel button
...The HP LaserJet 1020 is a simple and compact black and white laser printer from HP. It superseded the LaserJet 1010, 1012, 1018 model s but as it has been out for quite a while, has itself been superseded by the LaserJet 1022 and maybe the LaserJet P1006 models, although mine is still going strong. The printer chassis has two shades of light greys and the body is quite curvy. It is small enough to fit in a book shelf, which is where I have mine. The trays stick out when extended but I fold up the paper feed tray when not in use. It only measures 370 x 242 x 209 mm so is probably one of the most compact laser printers you can get. I originally bought mine from Amazon for £45, which was an excellent deal but this printer usually sells for £60 - £100.
INSTALLATION
The printer came with a CD containing the driver. This is easy to install...

laser vs inkjet, i think laser wins.
Advantages: better quality print, faster.
Disadvantages: not great at printing photos
...Using a laser printer instead of a normal standard injet printer is great, there a lot faster than normal inkjet printers, there a lot more reliable and can carry on printing for ages without you worrying whether the things going to blow up or over heat or not.
These are known as office printer for a reason, they tend to be too big and clumpy for a home printer, and also there a lot dearer and it was very hard to buy one cheaper than about £300 till...

Kodak CX4300 Digital camera.
Advantages: Light-weight, compact and easy to use.
Disadvantages: You will need to get regargable batteries for this camera.
...to buy rechargable batteries so not to waste money in the long run.
The built in 16 mb of memory holds around 45 photos on the lowest setting, and 15 or 16 on the highest. A secure digital (SD) or multimedia card (MMC), which can be found cheap now will help to storage more pics. A 64mb SD memory card will storage 125 high quality pics.
The camera really shines when it comes to sharing prints over the internet. with one click of the button, the camera loads the photos to the web with ease. Downloading pictures onto your computer is also a snap. The software that kodak include is really very easy to use and you has an automatic update as well.
my opinion is: Though not the most technologically innovative camera on the market, the CX4300 meets the needs of the casual camera user as well as the more experienced user who wants to...
