...I recently got this mouse from Toys R Us about 1 month ago. I choose it because it was small only priced £19.99 (in a sale) and made by Logitech I like that make it has never let me down. The thing I like most about it is the size of it its only about 10 centimetres the wireless USB receiver is only about 5 if that. The reason I bought it is because I was getting annoyed at my laptops touch pad as it was really small and you cant drag or highlight things and the fact that im a gamer so I really needed a mouse. This was my first laser mouse as well the other ones I've had are the ones that have the big red light at the bottoms I think there called optical mouse's. What comes in the box? Well you get a package(the really annoying plastic stuff which you cant open unless you use scissors.) A disc which contains the control panel...

.... This mouse from Logitech is great not only for PCs and laptops but also for Macs as its white colour and cool shape looks quite like the current cool Mac mouse's. However its cheaper than buying a replacement Mac mouse and also its got three buttons as opposed to only having two like Mac mouse's have. It a very small shaped mouse however it fits nicely into your hands and its really easy to move about too. Its surface is kind of a nice shiny almost glass like white finish and feels really smooth and looks new no matter how old it is. It connects via 1.2 wireless Bluetooth technology and it can go quite a range away without losing signal. Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft

...for the the past 18 months and I only replaced it because i thought that the improved resolution would make a difference to working on photographs in Photoshop, it doesn't. In fact the difference in quality and functionality between the two mice means I have split up the matching set of Microsoft laser keyboard and mouse and am now using Microsoft keyboard and Logitech mouse. Although desperately need to get rid of the overpriced Microsoft keyboard and replace it with something more reliable. To conclude, if you are in the market for a new hi definition cordless mouse - I would advise not going for the bigger name of the two (Microsoft) but rather go for this Logitech. It's a great product which will give you everything you need from a mouse and then some....

A cordless mouse that performs like a corded mouse

Disadvantages: A little bit heavy but there is more in a cordless mouse than a corded one

...I have been in the market for a couple of months for a cordless mouse but have been a little put off by the things I have read on them ie pointer lag (pointer not moving as quick has it should when mouse is moved) and just generally not performing as good as a corded mouse. Well you can forget all that with the Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse.The movement is as smooth as a corded mouse,although I have to say the mouse I had before this was a Logitech corded mouse and the MX1000 is smoother than that.The MX1000 has fast RF transmission,what this means is there is none of the drawbacks that are associated with cordless mice such as mouse lag. My Mouse has No Tail, No Ball and No Red Light!

Advantages: Cordless, Rechargable, Accurate Laser, Battery indicator, Quick charge, Lots of buttons

...I've only ever owned wired Mice for fear of poor battery life, but I recently took the plunge and bought a Logitech MX1000 Cordless Laser Mouse to go with my Logitech Media Keyboard. I bought it from Ebuyer for £38.37 plus £3.83 Super Saver delivery. The price now is £35.69 plus delivery. They like to drop prices AFTER I buy the items. Anyway, you can also find it in the high street in Dixons, PC World, etc but usually more expensive. I also found it at CCL Online for the Ebuyer haters. The mouse has a non-obtrusive Logitech logo on the top. The Left and Right-click buttons are part of the casing / shell so you do not see where the buttons begin. I think this design looks really nice compared to normal mice where it is obvious where the left and right buttons begin as indicated by a gap. The black area seems to be made of some sort...
