...Hi there ! We own the new verson of the kef KHT 3005 whats known as the SE version(we used to have the old model). The new version is a vast improvement on the old model with the addition of the new tangerine tweeter. Power handling also seems to have improved. They fill the room with rich deep base from the new HTB2 sub woofer and they look absolutely fantastic ! We managed to get them at a fantastic price from The brotherhood of sound in Chesterfield at almost £200 off the RRP. It is noted that we are using Hi def audio from the new onkyo 875 receiver and from the PS3 blue ray movies are incredible! Overall well worth the money!!!!...

Top Notch Laser Printer for the Office

Advantages: Fast, Robust, HP Customer Support, High page yield, Serviceable
Disadvantages: Expensive official toners, Could be a bit more user friendly

...The HP LaserJet P3005N is an A4 black and white laser printer meant for office use. The company I work for had decided to standardise all printers to cut costs on toners and so they didn?t need to buy so many different toners. The main printer in use was the HP LaserJet 2420N but this was discontinued and superseded by the HP LaserJet P3005 printers so I decided on this one. The P3005 printers come in several flavours. There?s the P3005 (no network), P3005N (with network) and P3005DN (duplex, with parallel connection and network). All of them have a USB connection. The P3005N costs £436.98 at Dabs.com, with the DN version costing slightly more and I replaced four printers with P3005N?s across several sites. The printer has two paper trays. The main tray can hold 600 sheets of paper, which is one ream of 500 sheets of paper...

BRILLIANT PRINTER - dodgey drivers though

Advantages: Fast + easy to use!
Disadvantages: Drivers are incorrect

...The printer is a joy to work with - its reliable, quiet and does pretty much what it says on the tin. I have had no problems working with this on the network but I have encountered a few long issues when I want to print via USB. Although I install the drivers from the CD supplied, it takes over an hour to install the DOT4 drivers. I telephoned HP Customer Support and they said "you need to wait for 2 hrs for the printer drivers to install" - I have never heard anything of the sort so I waited two hours - only to find that my computer crashed and rebooted itself. I managed to use the drivers I had on my server for the p3005 and that worked fine. Other than that this printer is extremely good, reliable and a treat to use....

A 10 for the HP Laserjet 1010

Advantages: very fast, 8mb memory

...Ok so finally deciding to opt for a mono laser rather than another colour inkjet I decided to go online and shop for the newest and funkiest on teh market. I ended up at PCworld- being the kind of person I am, shopping online just isn't good enough sometimes when you want to touch and feel the product! After bending the poor ear of a very unsuspecting sales assisstant he recommended this one as it was the newest out. His other option was sumsung similar version in the same price bracket.. I have to say though the Samsung is prone to paper jams- and how do you know this? I hear you ask- well teh trusted sales assisstant had on at home ( as did his sales assisstant friend) and they both said although the Samsung is £10 cheaper it's jus not as good. The Pro & Cons of HP Color Laserjet 4700dn Printer

Advantages: Easy install and setup, reliable, fast speed and capable for network pritning .
Disadvantages: Expensive and cannot print in A3 size, difficult in loading paper .

However, if you required for print media in A3 size, then it is not for you. It is also not a good idea for personal or graphic designer, as it is expensive in price and also not the best choice for the hi-resolution graphics due to the 600 dpi limitation. Although it seldom got jammed, but if you are not fixing the media correctly, it may be a problematic and need to call technician for help. The correct selection of media type in the printer properties option will reduce the problem and make your printing smoothly. ...Although now discontinued, this review may be helpful to anyone looking to pick up a quality HP laser printer on Ebay or similar. The HP LaserJet 2100 printer will satisfy anyone who is looking for the very highest in print quality and has an eye for good value ! True 1200 x 1200 dpi provides high quality laser output, at 10 pages per minute, not super fast, but more than enough for what I need. Installation was an absolute doddle, although not USB Plug & Play, being an older printer, Windows XP knows exactly what to do with all necessary drivers included !
