...I have always considered my eyes one of my best features, but the only thing is its extending eyelashes to make them stand out more and look longer which I find hard to do. I have tried so many mascaras and for daytime use most of them work just fine in adding more volume to my lashes, however they do not add length. I have tried false eyelashes and they do give the right effect but it's the making sure they stay on all night, the trouble to stick them on and buying them all of the time which is a lot of hassle when if you could get a mascara to create the same effect it would same money and time. Bad Lashes?

Advantages: Really black colour, gives good thickening effect in one coat, easy to apply
Disadvantages: Quite pricey

...I'm not a big mascara fan - my sister spends an absolute fortune on the Lancome Hypnose, but having been lucky enough to inherit my Dad's dark, thick lashes, I don't see it as such a necessity so am pretty difficult to impress in the mascara stakes. I bought this in a set which contained Benefit's Dandelion, Benetint and this Bad Lashes Mascara - all for the bargain price of £43 - at £20 each for the Dandelion and the Benetint this was a bargain in itself and the mascara for me was an added bonus. This mascara promises "the biggest, baddest lashes" and that wearing this will be "like wearing false eyelashes without the glue". Quite a bold claim! The mascara follows on the same theme as their Bad Gal eyeliner with a really chunky black tube with silver tipped wand. The black, silver and pink colour scheme is really fun...

Bad gal lashes!

Advantages: Great volumising effect
Disadvantages: Not waterproof

...The Benefit brand originated in San Francisco and follows the ethos of vintage glam, it reminds me of the 1940's era. The official website for the brand (www.benefitcosmetics.com) states that the aim was to create stores with a candy store like atmosphere. I bought thieir mascara for the first time when I moved away to university. Before that I hadn't had access to the brand Benefit and it's counters. The mascara comes in a chunky tube, with white lettering on it for the brand name and words BAD gal, the word lash is written in pink. The wand is possibly one of the biggest ones I have ever seen in a mascara, which is perhaps why it is so successful in creating really big and volumised lashes when I use it. Lashes like a BADgal

...wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I was excited when I saw that Glamour magazine was giving away a Benefit mascara last month with it's magazine as it means I could try a new product of theirs for free, well somewhat free. I think it's a really good marketing ploy because they can target people who may not have tried their products who will hopefully in their mind become hooked and want to buy more of their products. I also think a big part of Benefit's success is it's packaging and name of the products too. For example, if we just look at a few of their best sellers we see that this mascara that they are giving away is called the BADgal lash for the biggest, baddest lashes, Dr Feelgood is a face balm for matte skin and one of their glosses is called her glossiness! Review of BeneFit Bad Gal Lash Mascara

Give your eye lashes some BAD volume!

Advantages: Brilliant volume without looking silly!
Disadvantages: It's expensive... but highly worth it for a nice treat.

...Recently a magazine gave away a smaller version of this mascara, which is the reason for the sudden influx in reviews on here for it! I however have been a fan of this mascara for a long time and own the full size version of it. I noticed some mixed reviews for this mascara so I feel I need to voice my own opinion of it! I bought the full size 8.5g mascara in Debenhams as a treat with some vouchers from my Shop and Scan panel. This was a certain treat costing £14.50 however I have loved some of Benefit's products before and I was eager to give this one a try! Brightly packaged in a black and pink box, the mascara itself is quite large compared to my usual Bourjois mascara's. It's packaging is simple but sleek and gives off a nice funky feel. Thicker, longer lashes!

...Benefit's BadGal Lash mascara was the second Benefit product I bought and loved. After falling in love with High Beam I didn't think I could get that lucky again! However... Whilst in my local cosmetics store, I noticed Bad Gal in it's striking pink and black packaging and opened one up to have a look at the product. The tube was quite long and fat, and inside was a large, thick brush coated in the thick, black mascara. I decided I'd try out my second Benefit product so I bought myself a tube, and set off home to try it. A so sweet benefit to my bad lashes!

Advantages: Works well
Disadvantages: It's rather pricey!

...of the magazine (£2.00) I simply couldn't resist buying it of course! The Packaging.... The long cardboard box is black and bright pink in colour. On that in white and pink writing I'm told it is a Little Bit Bad Gal Lash from Benefit. Then I'm told it is mascara and the weight is stated. On the back of the box ingredients are listed, contact details for Benefit are given, and finally there is a bar-code on there. The tube (although smaller in my case) is a shiny black plastic, again with white and black writing on it telling Me it is Benefit Bad Gal Lash, on the back again I'm told it's Mascara, contact details for Benefit are given and finally there is a screw on/off bright silver lid that when you unscrew it you are met with a black plastic 'wand' and on the end of that there is a rather wide, thick spiral well formed and good quality brush...

Bad Gal Lash

Advantages: Works well if you use lots of coats, nice colour
Disadvantages: Takes ages to get it right, can smudge

...Ever since i bought my first benefit prodcut i have loved the range. Its the advertising that really got me, (if you have ever read one of the catalougues you will know what i mean!!) but also the packaging and the fact that it ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IT SAYS makes me keep buying more!. Or should i say usually does what it says... This mascara is expensive. At £14.50 a go, its not cheap by anyones standards and was expecting miracles! It comes in a fat black tube with pink writing on it saying Bad Gal and Lash in bigger writing in a different font.. Its not that fancy, and not as detailed as some of the other benefit products, but it still looks nice and the brush seemed amazing! When i was buying this mascara, the assistant pointed out the brush and how big it was (its massive!) and said this was why it has such good results...

Fabulous Fluttering lashes!

...I have always been a little intrigued when it comes to applying false Eyelashes. Picture the scene, a little over twelve months ago I was shopping in Boots when something in the make up section caught my eye... Stick on strip Eyelashes. Always keen to try something new (and with a party to get to in a few short hours) I put a packet in my basket and carried on with my shopping. That evening as I was getting ready I applied the eyelashes and off I went.
