...I have owned this Samsung television for a year now and have been very pleased with it's performance. I would say it was of average price for an LCD TV of this size at around £600. It was easy to install (although no aerial lead was included in the packaging) and the channel auto install was simple. The picture quality is very good, well defined, and colours are bright and sharp. Colours are even throughout the screen, with no fading or darker patches. The teletext functions are also good, with bright displays. The sound quality is excellent, defined and clear with no muffling. The remote control included in the packaging is basic but does the job. Cheap flat screen LCD TV better than dearer ones

Advantages: cheap, small, good enough picture and sound quality for us
Disadvantages: haven't really found any

...prefer to keep my distance from anything to do with setting up electrical goods but my partner tells me that this Bush was pretty fiddly to set up. Even worse after a few days of a fairly indifferent picture and sound quality it gave up the ghost and packed up completely. So we took it back to Tescos, decided we didn't want another one, saw the Digilogic again with its excellent picture and decided to give it a try and get a refund for the difference in cost too. We are now absolutely delighted with it and have had no problems at all with it. It has auto install and was really easy to set up. It is a silver 15 inch LCD flat screen television with Nicam stereo sound. When I saw it along side the others I thought it looks very slightly less modern and streamline but with it happily installed in the kitchen I never give this a thought...

Fantastic Flat Screen but no sounds.

Advantages: Great screen resolution, looks, styling and performance
Disadvantages: No built in speakers

Being self contained like the HP L1906 is, in my opinion, the best and tidiest way forward. Back to the performance....Wow! It truly is one of the most crisp and colour rich TFT monitors i have see. The depth of colour for a flat screen is fantastic. Its anti glare coating aids those annoying office strip lights dazzling you in their reflection. I also like the way it can auto adjust almost instantly when I add my laptop to the screen. ...Purchasing a 50" flat screen from Comet!..Well it started a fortnight ago with the idea to sort out a big screen TV for my folks to avoid Christmas delivery problems and other customer returns should the need arise. At the point of purchase I had done all the donkey work checking out the best TV's, I chose the Panasonic 50" at the same time a few other Net retailers were having similar offers. I chose to have a store so if there were problem and especially for the cost £2k+ I want to be able to go and speak to a real person not some cr*p telesales office in india or some place equally as useful. I haggled the sales manager down and made sure the model ordered was with the stand, i confirmed this with him several times before payment and he reassuring said it would come with a stand.
