Advantages: Characters, Issues
Disadvantages: A little over-ambitious in places

...John Singleton?s Higher Learning deserves some serious respect for exploring a number of sensitive issues that many University students encounter at some point in their lifetime-- some of which include institutional racism, rape, and the individual desire to be accepted. While some of the characters lack emotional complexity and the story at times may feel a little "preachy", the film is still a very enjoyable and thought-provocative experience -- one that'll linger with you for quite some time afterwards. ...for the books to go, these just sit in they dont need to be cliped in like the baby version so is easy for a child to do on there own. The on off button is the only button on the machine so isnt confusing, the cartridges clip easily into the side of the machine, they are a little stiff to remove at first but get easier with time The voice tells you what book you have in when you turn it on and reminds you to always press the green go circle with the stylus each time you change page. ...When my son turned 4 months old he started to get very frustrated because he was becoming more aware of the world around him, but wasn't able to participate in the way that he wanted! He hated lying on his back at this point; I would have to walk him around the house shaking toys at him, and I was running out of ideas. Then I found the Learn & Groove. This toy is absolutely fantastic. It is a complete playcentre for your baby that is suitable from 4 months until baby can walk.
