The Learning Curve by Melissa Nathan

Advantages: Easy to read, great story, easy to pick up,
Disadvantages: can't put it down and do other jobs.

...If you have already read some of the other books by Melissa Nathan then this is definitely one you should read. I found it in the local book shop, and bought it without even reading the back cover, as I knew I would enjoy it. When I got home I read the inside cover and found that whilst Melissa was writing 'The Nanny' she discovered she has breast cancer. She finished writing this Book 'The Learning Curve' in February 2006, but unfortunately died two months later. Aged 37 I got emotional and wanted to start reading the book straight away, and wanted to enjoy reading it as much as I could. Blackberry Curve 8310

...So bear with me as this is my first stab at writing a technology review but I received a new Blackberry for work a few weeks ago and I'm really pleased with it so I though I would write a review on it. The model in question is the Blackberry Curve 8310 Smartphone. I got mine free but with price plans available with the different service providers it can be anywhere up to £200 I believe. The first thing I noticed about the phone (which is what made me choose it and as you can probably tell that I'm not very technologically minded!) is that it looks good. The phone has a lovely metallic finish, almost like a gunmetal grey colour to it although it does come in a pink version too (I wasn't allowed this for work unfortunately!) Advantages: Plenty of fun to be had if you can learn to 'read' tracks
Disadvantages: No good at all if you don't have the trick of memory that allows you to leann each track

Advantages: good qwerty board and cursor

...i recently got the blackberry curve 8320 as a replacement phone from cex, i am quite pleased with it, the cursor is really nice to move around the phone with, and the qwerty keyboard is really good and easy to use, i can send texts with it very fastly. this phone would be great if you have unlimited internet in your contract because it has a facebook app already on the phone and loads of applications ready to download. i say if you have unlimited internet because it doesnt have wifi, which is why i am going to sell this phone and maybe get another blackberry that does have wifi. what i did notice with mine is after a while it looks very tatty from scratches not because i mis-treat it because the phone picks them up quite well and because of the colour. the camera is pretty rubbish at 2mp and there is no video recorder. ...could still be improved- I do agree with the other users who have reviewed this product when they say that the mascara wand is a little 'gimmicky' as the curves on the brush make it a little more difficult than necessary to apply. But the silicon spikes seems to spread the black substance on the lashes fairly evenly anyway and my lashes don't get clumped and look long and thick- exactly what you want from a mascara. I am glad I got the waterproof version of the mascara as I do, for some weird reason, get watery eyes a lot- especially in the cold windy winter months and occasionally when I manage to poke myself in the eye with a sharp object (previously including cutley, pens, hairbrushes and fingers...) and I am also quite a softie for crying at cute movies (or even charity adverts...) The mascara is really quite good at staying on when wet...
