...As some of you may know i have recently moved house and i have purchased my leather suite from the land of leather, i just had to write a review on the level of service i recieved and the quality of the suite itself. So it was the beginning of April and some of you may recall an advertisement being on television for the land of leather a range of special deals for one day only. So as i was interested in buying a new suite i took a drive to my nearest land of leather to view the suites which where part of this special twelve hour spectacular. The showroom had a magnificient range of leather and material sofas and chairs in many shapes and sizes at quite reasonable prices as other furniture showrooms i had been to before had been expensive. Not Real Leather

Advantages: None at all
Disadvantages: You can't be sure of what you're getting and the quality is dredfull!

...Having purchased a suite (2 x 2 seater + 1 chair) that was supposed to be leather I awaited delivery which was on the day specified and was quick and efficient which I know isn't everybody's experience. The suite looked Ok if not a little cheap. The first sign of things being not as they seem were the supposed wooden feet which I soon found out were not even wood. Obviously it must save them a lot of money to make the legs out of a white plaster/ chalk like substance and paint it to look like wood and most people won't find out till they hit it with the vacuum cleaner and a chunk falls off leaving a white gouge. This was annoying but after a few more months we started to get cracks in the leather and it started to peel, fair enough i thought I've obviously not looked after it properly but then on looking at what was underneath...

Anyway here goes, I went to Land Of Leather on Boxing Day - they were extremely busy (seems a lot of other people got sucked in by Land of Leather?s ?great offers? on the TV). Eventually me and the missus finally decided on a suite and ordered two 3 seaters and two footstools, paid a deposit of £100.00 leaving a balance of £1700.00 and was told I would receive delivery in 14 weeks. I have seen these advertised, but I have not used these services, so I can't comment on them. I have two stores near me, but I'm concentrating on the Trafford Centre branch for now. It is spread out into two floors - the ground floor deals with photo-processing and baby products, ie: nappies, bottles, etc. The upper floor is dedicated almost entirely to cosmetics, haircare products, etc, with a small section for the food (sandwiches, crisps, drinks, etc...

some classics stand the test of time..proof: imperial leather

Advantages: rich creamy lather + economical
Disadvantages: a bit boring

...imperial leather was my parents favourite soap and so i have literally grown up using this soap from the age of 2 onwards! The single bars come in cardboard red packaging and looks quite..well..imperial! They cost around 1.65 at boots for a packet of four in white packaing and the red logo and writing on top so theyr pretty economical. The soap itself has a very distinctive smell I can't really describe it but nothing too clinical or too over fragranced and can be used by the whole family including children and those with sensitive skin...did i mention this was our family soap at home! It was also a favourite of my granny's who would even use it wash her hair sometimes as ordinary shampoos irritated her scalp.
