...I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe. ...As some of you may know i have recently moved house and i have purchased my leather suite from the land of leather, i just had to write a review on the level of service i recieved and the quality of the suite itself. So it was the beginning of April and some of you may recall an advertisement being on television for the land of leather a range of special deals for one day only. So as i was interested in buying a new suite i took a drive to my nearest land of leather to view the suites which where part of this special twelve hour spectacular. You can buy it from all the shops you'd expect to be able to buy them from including Halfords, mothercare, john lewis', toys r us etc. What do they cost: prices vary depending up on offers and stores but usually this car seat retails at £100. Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Not Real Leather

Disadvantages: You can't be sure of what you're getting and the quality is dredfull!

...Having purchased a suite (2 x 2 seater + 1 chair) that was supposed to be leather I awaited delivery which was on the day specified and was quick and efficient which I know isn't everybody's experience. The suite looked Ok if not a little cheap. The first sign of things being not as they seem were the supposed wooden feet which I soon found out were not even wood. Obviously it must save them a lot of money to make the legs out of a white plaster/ chalk like substance and paint it to look like wood and most people won't find out till they hit it with the vacuum cleaner and a chunk falls off leaving a white gouge. This was annoying but after a few more months we started to get cracks in the leather and it started to peel, fair enough i thought I've obviously not looked after it properly but then on looking at what was underneath...

...This is a fantastic car seat for up to a year old baby. It is very user friendly with easy instructions if you can't work out certain things. It is a slim design so it is quite light and easy to carry, the seat belt is a stylish and simple design where you have to interlock the arm straps then fasten between the legs. The handle can be placed in three positions: 1. behind the seat on the floor to stop seat rocking 2. behind the baby's head so it can rock 3. In place for you to be able to carry it.
