Absolute Legend

Advantages: Amazing gameplay, graphics, storytelling, in jokes.
Disadvantages: Zelda fans may take a bit of getting used to the layout!

...Oh my! I have just Kicked the behind out of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and let me tell you, It's amazing. These games, for me, are reason enough to buy a console. So what if it's fancy, if I can't get my Zelda fix, it's not worth it. As you may have noticed I am a little biased towards the "wow it's great" side of things. Don't worry though. ...I am Legend was the 2007; sci- fi horror adapted from the 1954 Francis Lawrence, and a remake of the classic The Omega Man. The film starred Will Smith, in what was to be his first horror film. Opening in late 2007, the film grossed well over $500 million worldwide. The Stuff Of Legends

Advantages: Simple writing style that allows the plot to flow and the pages to be turned
Disadvantages: One slightly weaker character in the first half of the book.

I Am Legend - Wasn't legendary for me!!!

Advantages: Some good moments of suspense. Good scene setting.
Disadvantages: Lost it's story to some daft horror scenes.

Advantages: Excellent writing style, frenetic pace, superb characters, shorter than most fantasies
Disadvantages: Perhaps not massively inventive, narrative can switch quickly among many characters

...My good friend and fellow-writer GildorInglorion knows a thing or two about books - and more specifically, about the fantasy genre from which seemingly no major work has escaped him. Review of Legends Of The Fall (DVD)

Brutal Legend Rocks!

Advantages: lots of different tasks to do, funny characters, great music
Disadvantages: probably not for 'hard core gamers' who like shooting at things, I feel this game has more heart

...Now I am not your average 'gamer' I have never owned a console and have only ever had a few goes on my boyfriend's PS3... well technically it's our PS3, but I have just never been interested in the games, until that is... Brutal Legend came out! I am a big fan of Jack Black, but thats not why this game is so awesome! (Well it adds to it) the music is amazing and really gets you into the game. Visually its fantastic, with loads of cool movie scenes to tell you the story. Jack Black injects his humour and passio for Rock into the character 'Eddie' and other characters such as Ozzy Osbourne appear throughout! The game it'self, in my opinion, has something for everyone.
