the legend of zelda: wind waker
Review of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (GameCube) by  mattyatty

Advantages: fun adventure game; bonus disk; fun mini games
Disadvantages: graphics take a while to get used to

...For those of you who have never herded of the Zelda games, where have you been for the last 20 years. The Zelda games are adventure games that have been developed by Nintendo since the NES, Nintendo’s first games console. The games usually follow a boy called link in his adventures in a kingdom called Hyrule. Why call it The Legend Of Zelda then? Well, the story usually has something to do with princess Zelda. This one, however, is a little different. This time it is set in a different land, a long time after these goings on. The land has a large vast ocean, with lots of small islands in the ocean. You still play link, and like in some of the previous games, he is only a boy. He lives on one particular island where when boys come of a certain age they have to dress in green, to celebrate the hero of time. (The original link... Read review

The legend of zelda phantom houglass .
Review of The Legend of Zelda - Phantom Hourglass (NDS) by  betterthenever

Advantages: fantastic use of the touch screens and awesome dual screen bosses
Disadvantages: nothing really

...all the legend of Zelda games seem to keep getting better and better but i think the tradition might end after this one as it is such a spectacular game . This game uses all the nintendo ds es functions really well and is a really good game for anyone who likes game . It would suit most gamers and they will probarly enjoy it apart from old grumpy men . It makes the gamer think especially in the dungeons as thay are literd with puzzles that need solving . The stylus : combat the stylus directed sword combat works like a dream . It makes me disbelieve that we ever used buttons for combat it is that good . The system cleverly difrentiates movements from intended attacks with a system of minor gestures . To attack a person you tap on them once . you can now travel through islands through the water by bought which really is quite good... Read review

The Legend of Zelda... Queen of the Jazz Age
Review of Zelda Fitzgerald - Nancy Milford by  snowbunni

Advantages: A Detailed, Fascinating & Well-Researched Biography
Disadvantages: Tale of a Short & Tragic Life

...St. Vincent Millay. Their wild parties, binge drinking, and explosive fights are described as both comical and tragic. By 1924, they had left for Paris with a young baby in tow, leaving a trail of glory and devastation behind them. Milford evokes the drama of this period with exceptional verve. Her research is impeccable, and one senses that no stone has been left unturned, no source unexplored or witness un-accosted. She gently and skilfully draws various myths and legends into her account, addressing or debunking each by turn. For example, Ernest Hemingway's antipathy towards Zelda is well known, and his contempt for her was given a boisterous airing in his posthumous memoir 'A Moveable Feast' which concerned his time in Paris in the 1920's. Zelda thoroughly reciprocated his dislike, and was always convinced that Hemingway was a poseur... Read review

The Legend revels in the Twilight
Review of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The (Wii) by  Magrippinho

Advantages: Improves almost everything in the beloved formula
Disadvantages: Not a casual game, a little "last-gen"

...Few games have been more eagerly expected than those in "The Legend of Zelda" franchise and even when the folks at Nintendo decide to take risks, like the cartoony graphics of "Wind Waker", they always seem to have the last laugh, as the end result never fails to be astonishing. The latest installment, "Twilight Princess", tries to recapture the timeless magic of 1998's "Ocarina of Time" and the outcome is another fantastic action-adventure that, even though contrary to the Wii's casual-friendly façade, is a definitive thrill. ***The Story*** Ever since the inaugural title back in 1986, the Legend revolves around the triangle formed between the personification of wisdom, Princess Zelda; a fearsome Warlock that lusts for power and her expansive kingdom; and the courageous green-clad Hero that is the world's last hope against... What will be the next Legend of Zelda
Review of Zelda (N64) by  draken333

Advantages: Awesome graphics, Fun game, Easy to control
Disadvantages: Some of the puzzles got hard

...The legend of Zelda has been going on now for a long time. The games that have come out have all been great. Nintendos first Zelda was awesome and has turned into a big time classic. It was its own style and had many advantages to it than most games. Then when the legend to Zelda came out for the SNES it blew everyone away. That game was great. The graphics were all redone and it had all the cool things that Zelda had to offer. Now the 64 had taken Zelda to the next step and has created something that everyone will like. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time turned out great. With its huge story line followed by the 64s intense graphics Zelda made another classic. The way that its all setup in its 3d environment made Zelda a whole new game and brought you closer to links world. The controls are simply basic. You can walk around... Read review

A must have for Zelda fans!
Review of The Legend of Zelda: Collectors' Edition (GameCube) by  Lauren89

Advantages: you get the original games plus the n64 classics plus features
Disadvantages: none

...the two first ever Zelda games to be released: The Legend of Zelda (released in Europe almost 20 years ago) and it's sequel The Adventure of Link (released in 1988). As of yet I'm still playing the first one which is a pretty challenging game! It may seem outdated when you compare it to Twilight Princess but it's still a classic game, and the one which started the whole Zelda series. Adventure of Link uses a different side-scrolling control system which I've heard critism about but since I haven't played it yet I can't really say for myself what it's like. Both these games are now also available to play on Gameboy Advance but playing them on Gamecube I think is more authentic since the original copies would've been played on TV consoles rather than a handheld console. These games are must haves for Zelda fans and this special edition offers... Read review

...Waker" on his dragon-boat. On the other side, there are some informations: it's only a game for one player, it takes 12 blocks of memory board, it's compatible with GameBoy Advance but only with the cable GameBoyAdvance - GameCube... I don't understand why this splendid game is forbidden for the sevenless! It's not violent and it's wonderful! There is the scenario and some extracts from critic. The CD (mini-dvd) is beautiful.
