The great thing is that you can then break it up and build other creations with it. We have built a bungalow, a shed, a garage and even a fire station. Lego Creator - Mini Animals But Mega Fun!

Advantages: Can make three different animals, not expensive
Disadvantages: mostly brown coloured blocks

...I bought this Lego set for my boyfriend for valentines day. I thought it was really cute because you can make three different mini animals with the lego - a monkey, a duck and a dinosaur (or lizard-type thing!) You can only make one of the animals at a time, there are not enough lego pieces in the set to make more than one. This Lego set is from the 'Lego Creator' range, which are meant to be creative and imaginative designs for children (though *I* personally think they suit any age!) The Lego comes in a plastic silver box with a yellow lid which is rectangular in shape. There is a picture on the front of the box with the different animals you can make. I suspect in the Amazon add they have got the wrong picture and number of the box with the price 19.99 the bigger box number 6166 costs 19.99p, The Lego comes in a sturdy deep rectangular blue box with a lid. I know from experience what an advantage it is to have a good sturdy box to keep Lego in. It keeps all the Lego together in one place. Keeps Lego away tidily. The card boxes break fairly easily. ...When my grandson visited us he brought some Lego with him. He had the Lego Creator LEGO Mini Flyers LEGO 4918 set with him. This is a Lego kit in a pocket sized plastic container. There are not very many Lego pieces in this set but enough to make a airplane model and then when he?s built this zoomed it around in the air a few times he can take it to bits and build a different model. This kit contains bricks that will make 3 different models. Not all the bricks are used for each individual model. Inside the container is a sheet of paper with the instructions for building these models. My grandson aged 6 found it fairly easy to follow the instructions. There are 100 pieces Lego says but I have not counted them. There are yellow windows red windows white windows of different sizes there are green shutters. Yellow doors blue doors red doors. There is clear plastic window glass for the frames. The windows and doors are a variety of different shapes and sizes. Now my grandchildren can be really creative and build a house or doctor?s surgery with as many windows and doors in it as they like. They will not be restricted by the number of windows, doors that come in other brick sets. This set of windows and doors is suitable for a child aged 4 and over. Lego Belville Advent Calendar

Advantages: So much fun! Looks so cute. Unique and different

Don't Judge Me - I know I'm a Big Kid!

...Ok, so let's confess. I'm a big self-indulgent kid, and yes sad and pathetic and I still play with Lego! (Please don't mock me!) I can't wait until Mia's old enough to play with Duplo! Family fun we can have together is on it's way (She has a set waiting in the attic, once she turns one out it comes!). This was my second purchase as an adult - see I don't have a secret Lego room or anything!, the first was the slightly smaller creator house (I may write a review on this later). As a child I only ever built Lego houses, and buildings remain my favourite. When I saw this town house, I was like a kid in a sweet shop! Much better than the little tub I had as a kid. Well if you enjoy it, why not? (I'm not the only one, my partner's lego obsessed too - but he prefers trucks, planes etc.!) I may not have much time on my hands anymore...

...This super Lego selection come in a great storage box, perfect if you ever want to see your child's bedroom carpet again! If my son tips all the Lego out, we often use the lid to scoop it all back into the box. There are lots of different coloured bricks, including doors, windows and roof tiles. My son has built allsorts with this- bugalows, sheds, fire stations, houses, shops, walls, parks, playhouses, trees and much much more. Every night we have 'Lego Time' when my baby daughter is in bed- its a greta chance to bond. This Lego box means whatever my son suggests we build, we,ve got the lego pieces to do it.
