Lost In Space

Advantages: Fun to assemble, finished product looks good, not expensive
Disadvantages: Not many spares included in the box

...I do like Lego (though I am getting a little old..) and was pleased to have gotten this set in my stocking from Santa! This set is from the 'Mars Mission' series brought out by Lego which consists of lots of wonderful space things, but the particular set I got was the MX-11 Astro Fighter. It is set number 7695. The set consists of an astro fighter and 2 mini figures. The astro fighter is predominately white but has a see-through orange door and some orange bits on the wings. You have to assemble the astro fighter yourself out of lego pieces. The 2 mini figures in the set are a pilot and a green alien. I especially like the alien, he is green and see-through and is quite cute! The instruction book is very easy to follow and has pictures clearly showing the steps to make your lego. Advantages: Cheap very affordable Speaker, with unbelievable amounts of quality.

I suggest looking in What Hi-Fi for prices, but I have seen them for as little as £79.99!! Choose your amplifier very carefully, as some amps I listened to with these speakers gave some disappointing results. MISSION TOO FAR

Advantages: Great Special Effects
Disadvantages: Cliched from the beginning

...This film is full of cliche. If you've seen most decent Sci-fi movies then take a bit of 2001 and roll them all together to make this film what it is. The story-line behind the film is a great idea, its just that they tried to cram it all in instead of letting roll a more nautral course. There are some great special effects within this film, but do the film makers honestly think great special effects are an excuse for a poor story line, look at all the classic films such as ET which had none of the the computer generated Graphics but a little man in a suit and it captured the hearts of millions. Mission to Mars on the other hand is not a terrible film, it's just that its not a good one. Magnificient Monster Mission

Advantages: Super stroyline
Disadvantages: Maybe a little scary for some children

...Monster Mission is a fantastic book for children and even young adults. It is a fantasy style story written by Eva Ibbotson and was first published in 1999. The story is 230 pages in length but is split into manageable chapters making it easy to digest and read in small chunks. I think however that most people will find like I did that the book is quite intriguing once you begin and that it is difficult to pull yourself away from it. Monster Mission tells the story of on Secret Island upon which three aunts are plotting to kidnap three children. Advantages: Fast pacy spy adventure, with great music and some equally great stunts.

Mission Enjoyable

Advantages: Intricate plot, excellent acting, appropriate action sequences

...As I have said, Mission: Impossible 2 was a poor film, and as I mentioned in that opinion, its predecessor is far better. I thought I might elaborate upon that. Just for a bit of background, M:I began as a series in the sixties where the IMF (Impossible Mission Force) were sent on many...erm...Impossible Missions. Of course, they weren't impossible as they nearly always managed to complete the mission. The team was lead by Jim Phelps (played superbly by Peter Graves), and the team consisted of many different operatives (some of the more notable ones being played by Martin Landau and Leonard Nimoy). The missions often involved elaborate stunts - at least for the time - which often had to be taken with a pinch of salt here and there.
