Leica S1
Advantages: from Studio direkt to CMYK, superior image quality
Disadvantages: thetered camera, needs continuous light
...LEICA S 1 cameras are supplied with an exchangeable LEICA S-Adapter-R. With the innovative adapter system nearly any lens can
be mounted to a LEICA S 1 with perfect stability. The range is from Leica R- and M-lenses, other 35 mm lenses (with Novoflex and MAdapter), Mamiya 645 Pro lenses, Novoflex-bellow, to all Hasselblad-lenses (with full Tilt & Shift feature).
The system is supported by fotomoto.de since 2001....

Review of Leica Digilux 1
Advantages: fast operation
Disadvantages: no info in viewfinder, bad CCD quality, operating time
...I am a professional photographer and bought a Leica Digilux 1 in October 2002. Initially, I was pleased with the camera, it handled like a Leica M series film camera.
After a lot of tests in different lighting conditions, I came to the conclusion that the camera is not really suitable for the professional or serious amateur.
On the plus side, the Summicron lens is brilliant (although let down by the poor quality of the chip) and functions well.
The LCD screen is also large and easy to view and the cameras functions are easy to operate. It also works better at 'ISO' 100 - as the other settings produce more noise (which is a problem).
Unobtrusive and quick to use (the shutter actually fires when you press it without delay) it had the makings of a great camera, shame that Leica billed it as being almost useable for semi...

LEICA 8x32 BN BINOCULARS - SEEING IS BELIEVING
Advantages: Superb optical quality,light,well built.
Disadvantages: Price may put people off.
...scan a large area without having to move the binoculars all the time. The depth of field (this is the range of focus e.g. Objects from 20 feet to 500 yards are in focus) means that focusing too is something you are not constantly doing.
These binoculars have a rating of being watertight to 16 feet. This is something I obviously haven't tested but does give some confidence when out in a shower. The eyepieces can be protected by a plastic cover, which comes with the binoculars. The eyepieces are specially designed for spectacle wearers. A soft leather case also helps to protect them although this is the only grumble I have, as the case is not particularly strong and would not really save the binoculars from heavy knocks. Having said that the binoculars are well built and I'm a sure owner will be cautious with them.

M is for Megans Law
Advantages: We know where most of them are
Disadvantages: Parents are the offenders
...know how to record incriminationg I.P numbers and conversations.
I supposed to sum it up I?m not suggesting we are being hysterical over pedophilia by wanting to know where they are 24/7 but there is a certain hypocrisy when we like to blame pedophilia on everyone but the family unit. Meagan?s law would bring reassurance to the middle classes that there are indeed no perverts lurking in their privet hedges with a bag of boiled sweets, but the downside would be if that one was discovered under this new exposure then the house prices would drop dramtically, until they were forced out of course For the irrationally angry working classes it would mean that summer of lynching, driving the problem underground and even deeper into the rented accomodation and estates where the people that detest them so much live.
Summary: The lowest of...

M is for Magnificent
Advantages: Easy to apply, great finish
Disadvantages: Too many colours, not enough nails!
...Barry M is a brand I normally associate with bold eye colours and glittery dust. But their bold colours are what attracted me to the nail varnish range. I own five colours in total and have definitely got my eye on more, so I feel like I can comment on how the range performs.
Packaging
The bottle is fairly standard - glass and transparent to allow you to see the colour within, with a screw-on lid. The bottle is rectangular and has a sturdy, thick glass base. From personal experience, I can tell you that these bottles will only take a few knocks and bumps. I did have one of my Barry M nail varnishes smash in my make-up bag.
There's no mention of ingredients on the actual packaging, but you can find a full list on their website, if that's something that is of interest to you. Their nail varnishes are all vegan friendly...

Kodak M863
Advantages: Good picture quality, LCD screen, versatility
Disadvantages: None!
...It would appear, the humble digital camera is somewhat of the ?pinnacle? in reviewing on these review sites?partly because it must be one of the main products that ?external? customers use to choose a product. So, without further ado, here?s the Kodak M863. Lovely stuff.
My particular version comes in a black matt finish with a strap to place around your wrist ? being a bloke it was a far more obvious choice that the potential vivid pink option!
Now, im hardly a connoisseur when it comes to digital cameras; the only other one I?ve previously owned was a ?Premier? one. (yep, never heard of them either!) But the first thing that strikes me about this camera is the large detailed 2.7 inch LCD screen on the back of the camera. With the camera being 8.2 mega-pixels; which is probably far too many to make any difference than, say, 6 mega...

Mmmmm... 'M'
Advantages: The joy it brings me
Disadvantages: Allows over exposure of some of Madge's crappier songs
...Mmmmmm.... 'M'. My favourite letter, apart from the love letter of course, as it is extremely satisfying to open your heart and justify your love to someone who is crazy for you and who you cherish. Things that begin with 'M' are very important to me. Allow me to mention five of them, as this site is one which lets you express yourself...
'Mum' - the most important person in the world to me. She is on the borderline of perfection, and I really am a lucky star to have someone like her. She is a fairly recently-qualified nurse and attending her graduation was the proudest day of my life. I had a wonderful upbringing, and she gave up a period of her life to bring my sisters and I up. She would spend her money on us instead of being a material girl, and always read me a bedtime story. She is now divorced, and loves her life which makes me...

\m/ METAL \m/
Advantages: too many to list
Disadvantages: Abosolutely none
...m/ METAL m/
I first got into metal when my parents got Sky TV. One day, my brother and I stumbled along a channel called Kerrang! It was a metal music video channel. I was amazed. Everything was so different, so honest. There was little cencorship and everything was shown, sung and screamed as it was. The first song i loved was Marilyn Manson's "The Nobodies". It's basically a song for the underdog and has started a bit of an obsession with him and his music. Some people wouldn't class it as "Metal". So apart from Mr.Manson the first metal song i liked was either Slipknot's "Wait and Bleed" or Slipknot's "Left Behind". My brother and me spent hours watching that channel and introducing everyone we could to our little world of metal music.
Growing up with it
When i got older and matured my dad introduced me to his...

barry M Cool Colours
Advantages: long lasting
Disadvantages: n/a
...Over the years I have had false nails and have spent a lot of money on decorating my nails with varnish. I have used varnishes that vary in prices, I have tried Opi and and also the likes of Rimmel and I have notice that over the years that it is not worth spending lots of money on a varnish as there is not a lot of difference in quality.
I recently discovered Barry M nail varnishes and I was pleased with the results of the dark red colour as after two applications it looked wonderful and was long lasting and did not chip or peel like a lot of the varnishes that I have tried previously.
Now the summer is coming I decided to make an investment in some new colours for the summer for my toes and i was really impressed with the wide variety of colours that they have to offer and at a retail value of just under £3.00 this is well...

The dangers of M.I. - The Hole
Advantages: -
Disadvantages: -
...I thought that I'd share a short, rather cynical, story which may raise a smile. It's about a business term you may, or may not, have experienced: M.I. (Management Information).
The Hole: The Dangers of M.I.
Once upon a time, three men: Bert, Jeremy and Tom, came to dig a hole.
After a while the firm sent a man (Tim) to measure the hole. Tim could measure the width but did not know how to measure the depth; Jeremy said he knew. Head Office appointed him to measure the depth of the hole. That left Bert and Tom digging.
Well, weeks went by and the hole got bigger a little slower without Jeremy. Tim and Jeremy measured with diligence. But after a while they realised that they needed to know if the hole was expanding in the right direction. Bert said he could do this by surveying stuff. That left Tom digging...
