...After hanging around the beauty aisles of Sainsbury?s last week I couldn?t help but notice the amount of bargains they head in terms of shower gels and bath creams. I am really trying to cut down on the amount I spend on bath stuff until Christmas because I just spend too much money! But when I saw this Sainsbury?s Shower Gel it screamed at me from the shelf and I couldn?t resist picking it up and taking it home. ** Sainsbury?s Lemon Sorbet Shower Wash ** This literally jumped off the shelf at me because the clear squeezy bottle was exploding with this bright yellow shower gel. There was hardly anything else on the shelf as bright at this product and it definitely caught my eye. I also found the packaging to be very up to date and stylish which also caught my eye. Lemon? Really?

Advantages: not too unhealthy, cooks quickly
Disadvantages: disgusting!

...I remember a time when I went through a phase, where all I would want to eat was fish finger sandwiches (in between the yoghurts, of course!). I was not too fussy with which variety I had wedged in between the bread, as long as it was piping hot! I wasn't too keen on battered fish fingers either, but I could stomach them if necessary. One day I discovered the Birds Eye Fish Fingers with a hint of lemon, and decided they were definitely worth a try! The fish fingers come in a cardboard box, which has a main blue colour. You can see a picture of Captain Birds Eye smiling at us, prompting us to go forwards. To the left there is a photo of a rather delicious looking fish finger. The fish looked fresh and white, the breadcrumbs golden and soft. With the Birds Eye logo stretched across the front, I felt like I would be getting a good meal...

Review of Birds Eye Fish Fingers Hint of Lemon

A value lemon squash.

Advantages: Good taste, recyclable bottle, good price, mixes well.
Disadvantages: It does taste cheap.

...Tesco Value Lemon is provided in a clear plastic bottle with a white screw lid and has a label with the familiar Tesco Value logo and the nutritional information as well as a logo advising that the product is now double concentrated so you only need to use half as much. I keep forgetting that these juices are double concentrated which means I normally end up with a really strong juice and find myself having a few sips and then adding some more water. The bottle is strong and dropping it or bashing it around on the way home from the supermarket shouldn't break it or make a hole at all. This is great if you have children who bash things around (such as my nieces and nephews!). To make this drink just pour some juice in to a glass and add water. I would recommend around 1 part juice to 8 parts water but I like my juice to be fairly strong...

Each box of slices comes with six of the little treats in three sealed packs of two, so ideal for lunchboxes and keeps them fresh. The cakes themselves are approximately three-inch strips of sponge with a "zesty lemon icing"...not my words, the words of the front of the packaging. But true to his word, Mr Kipling has produced a zesty lemon icing, which makes the slices both refreshing and flavoursome. The sponge is very light and not at all stodgy which is never appetising. The icing has been fashioned on top of the slice with a yellow pattern on top of the white icing to give the illusion of lemon being 'drizzled' on it...giving it an asthetic thumbs up. Despite having barely survived a GCE in Home Economics, I love home made cakes. My mum's are the best - obviously, that goes without saying - but since I am quite busy it seems too stressful to try and bake my own. ...Muller Light Lemon and Passion fruit Yoghurt?. The latest addition to the Muller Light yoghurt family is this Lemon and Passion Fruit flavour and it states on the packaging that it is a limited edition but hopefully Muller will decide to keep it on the shelf as I for one love it. At the moment Tesco are selling all Muller light yoghurts at half price for 24p or Morrison's are selling them at £2 for eight (pretty much the same deal). They are usually on some sort of offer though a single yoghurts RRP is around 49 pence. The thing I love about this lemon and passion fruit flavour is that the taste reminds me of eating a lemon meringue which is one of my favourite desserts. I did hubby had bought some and insisted on pancakes. Jiff lemon comes in a squeezable yellow lemon plastic container shaped like a lemon . It contains 55ml of juice. It also comes in a glass bottle the glass bottle contains more lemon juice. Jiff lemon juice was first made in a lemon shaped bottle in 1956 or 57. Reckitt & Colman made jif lemon juice first then sold out to Unilever not sure of the year. The price is fairly good it costs £0.45p from asda and tesco at Sainsbury's it cost 62p for the 240 ml bottle. Only 20p for the lemon shaped bottle in Asda and tesco but 22p in Sainsbury's Jif lemon is available at most supermarkets and corner shops around Shrove Tuesday...
