Lemon? Really?

...I remember a time when I went through a phase, where all I would want to eat was fish finger sandwiches (in between the yoghurts, of course!). I was not too fussy with which variety I had wedged in between the bread, as long as it was piping hot! I wasn't too keen on battered fish fingers either, but I could stomach them if necessary. One day I discovered the Birds Eye Fish Fingers with a hint of lemon, and decided they were definitely worth a try! The fish fingers come in a cardboard box, which has a main blue colour. You can see a picture of Captain Birds Eye smiling at us, prompting us to go forwards. To the left there is a photo of a rather delicious looking fish finger. £12 to smell like mouldy grass?!

Advantages: leaves skin feeling lovely and soft, lathers up well
Disadvantages: smell isn;t very nice, far too expensive for a soap

...soon wear down, and in fact they had gone completely on the first use! The smell of this soap was not what I was expecting. Although before I used it, I thought it smelled OK - fresh, but not really lemony as I had hoped - once I started using it I was really disappointed. The best way I can think to describe the smell of this soap is like mouldy grass! It reminded me of the grassy sort of smell when we went camping as kids. You can detect the lemon in there slightly, but the sage really overpowers it and I didn't think it smelled particularly nice. I wouldn't go as far as saying it was disgusting, after all I did continue to use it, but it just isn't something I really would have chosen to smell like! Each box of slices comes with six of the little treats in three sealed packs of two, so ideal for lunchboxes and keeps them fresh. The cakes themselves are approximately three-inch strips of sponge with a "zesty lemon icing"...not my words, the words of the front of the packaging.
