Great tasting diet lemonade

Advantages: Few calories, great taste
Disadvantages: none

...I don?t normally buy any other lemonade except R Whites but as I was on my way home the other day I realised that I had forgotten to get some. Threshers was the nearest place to buy some, so called in there. No R Whites, no ordinary Schweppes Lemonade, but they did have the Schweppes diet variety so paid £1.49 for it, which I know is a little over the odds for the 2 litre bottle in Tesco. The bottle is much like any other throwaway plastic 2 litres bottle and it has a yellow screw on top and a clear plastic sleeve around it giving product information. According to the back of the label, I am supposed to use the contents to mix myself a Pimms and lemonade, but sadly, I gave up my Pimms at roughly the same time as I stopped the Sobranie Cocktail cigarettes and upsetting everyone on the bus with Disc Blue French smokes. ...The product i'm going to review is my faithful schweppes diet Lemonade, i always keep a bottle of this in the fridge to go with my archers yum yum . Let me tell you a little about the company first, the company started way back in 1784 when Johann schweppes opened a soda factory in London then the schweppes family in 1834 relesed the lemonade and now the company is part of the cadbury company. The bottle comes as a 2 litre bottle wich lasts me about a night, it is clear plastic so you can see straight threw as the lemonade is clear as well.The lablel is blue silver with black writting saying schweppes with lemons cut into quaters i think the label makes the bottles. Artificial lemonade made with some lemon juice concentrate

Disadvantages: artificial taste, lot of unhealthy ingredients

...We had a garden party two weeks ago and we bought a lot of drinks. As there were some drivers among the guests we bought some fizzy drinks as well. One of them was R Whites Premium Lemonade. It is in a completely transparent plastic bottle, the drink itself looks like lemonades usual. The label on the bottle is yellow and green striped and it is written with large blue letters on it R Whites then below Premium and below Lemonade. This text has a yellow, lemon shape background. When you look at the bottle you think that this is really good lemonade. The label says that it is made with real lemons. As the price is quite good (0.97 pounds per bottle in Sainsbury's or 2 bottles for 1.5 pounds) you take it in your basket. The bottle contains 2 litres of lemonade. Great lemonade at a great price!

Advantages: Extremely cheap
Disadvantages: A bit too much fizz

...Contrary to most people I have never been into alcoholic drinks. Mostly because I cannot handle alcohol. Flat lemonade anyone? Good for cleaning your drains maybe!

Advantages: Cheap price, recycable packaging.
Disadvantages: Not as nice as R Whites, chemical after-taste, not very lemony.

...I generally like R Whites Lemonade (I'm a secret lemonade drinker!) but decided to give this a try when I saw it for under 30p in our local Asda recently. The bottle is very cheap with clear plastic and a white label with the smartprice logo, nutrional information & ingredients displayed. Upon opening the bottle is was fairly fizzy which I saw as a good sign but I found that within just a few hours of opening that the lemonade had gone completely flat. The bottle is very easily dented and broken leading to leakage on the way home from the supermarket if you are traipsing home on the bus (as I was) and have bags of shopping which bang together! The lemonade itself has quite a bland taste, slightly lemony (is that a word?!) but it had quite a harsh chemical after-taste. For a smartprice product it was a little disappointing as I find...

Lemonade for those who dislike lemons!!!

...OK. Here is a little insight into life in the Ruthiella household. My husband gets to drink Diet Pepsi (and we're talking cans that he half drinks and then leaves the rest) and my soft drink tipple is Tesco Value Sugar Free Lemonade!!! I'm currently sat here with a glass of said product so I can best provide the information which, I hope you will find helpful!. I should like to point out here and now that I very rarely drink this stuff "neat" as it were! On opening the bottle (which I originally opened about 4 days ago) I heard an extremely satisfying hiss indicating to me that the liquid inside was still fizzy and had not gone flat as many soft drinks do once opened.
