Great tasting diet lemonade

...I don?t normally buy any other lemonade except R Whites but as I was on my way home the other day I realised that I had forgotten to get some. Threshers was the nearest place to buy some, so called in there. No R Whites, no ordinary Schweppes Lemonade, but they did have the Schweppes diet variety so paid £1.49 for it, which I know is a little over the odds for the 2 litre bottle in Tesco. The bottle is much like any other throwaway plastic 2 litres bottle and it has a yellow screw on top and a clear plastic sleeve around it giving product information. According to the back of the label, I am supposed to use the contents to mix myself a Pimms and lemonade, but sadly, I gave up my Pimms at roughly the same time as I stopped the Sobranie Cocktail cigarettes and upsetting everyone on the bus with Disc Blue French smokes. Better than flavored water!

Because I like flavored sparkling water much more than still water, I thought I would replace some of the water bottles I bought with Schweppes Diet Lemonade, and I'm glad I did. Normally the 2L bottle of this lemonade is sold for 95p, which is definitely more expensive than the shop's own brand like Sainsbury's which can be bought for 44p only. As you open the large plastic recyclable bottle for the first time, you immediately notice the fizz as it enters your nose, so don't try to smell it right away. Lemonade for those who dislike lemons!!!

Advantages: Great as a cheap mixer.

...The product i'm going to review is my faithful schweppes diet Lemonade, i always keep a bottle of this in the fridge to go with my archers yum yum . Let me tell you a little about the company first, the company started way back in 1784 when Johann schweppes opened a soda factory in London then the schweppes family in 1834 relesed the lemonade and now the company is part of the cadbury company. You need the juice of one lemon, two tablespoons of sugar and a litre of water. Stir it until the sugar dissolves then taste it. If you like it sweeter than add some sugar to it. If you don't feel it sour enough add some lemon juice to it. I put it in a jar and put into it some lemon slices too. I like the taste of the lemon peel. I don't think I will buy ready made lemonade again. I know that there are better ones on the market, but it is much cheaper and healthier if you prepare it at home....

Great lemonade at a great price!

...Contrary to most people I have never been into alcoholic drinks. Mostly because I cannot handle alcohol. On the rare occassions I decide a glass of wine with dinner would be a nice change, approx 15 mins after finishing it I feel quite drowsy and want to sleep. ...Sainsbury's diet cloudy lemonade is, apparently, made with real lemons. A whole 4% lemon juice (from concentrate) in fact. Always a bonus, don't you think, when a food product you buy actually contains what the label suggests is in it? This cloudy lemonade is also available in a non-diet version, but it's the diet version that I'm going to concentrate on for this review. I'm reviewing the 2ltr bottle, which Sainsbury's sell at 41p each, but it is also available in a six-pack of 330ml cans, at £1.09 per pack The 2ltr bottle is clear plastic with a blue lid and a picture of a glass of lemonade on the front, so as you can tell the packaging is nothing out of the ordinary. It should be fairly easy to spot on the shelves though, as it's cloudy (the clue is in the name) unlike the clear lemonade we're more used to buying nowadays...
