A Refreshing Drink of Schweppes Lemonade

Advantages: Great taste, refreshing, lots of bubbles
Disadvantages: Goes flat after three days

...Opinion This has to be my favourite brand of lemonade. I love the first glass out of the bottle has it has lots of bubbles and I know some people don?t like too many bubbles but I think it just adds to the drink. It is very lemony unlike some brands which either don?t even taste of lemon or has very little lemon at all. It is a very refreshing drink which is great to add to a mixer or serve ice cold by itself. It is a perfect drink for a hot summer?s day. The only thing is if you but the bottle you have to drink it pretty fast as like most drinks it does start to lose its fizz. I tend to drink it in about three days as after that it is just plain flat, which makes the drink less enjoyable. Then again I find when it is flat it helps settle a bad stomach, so it does have other uses as well as a refreshing fizzy drink. All in all the best...

Great tasting diet lemonade

Advantages: Few calories, great taste
Disadvantages: none

...remembers this era must certainly be in my age bracket. You had to be there to appreciate it!) This lemonade contains aspartame and saccharin but it does not have that sickly cloying taste that most of these diet drinks have. Apparently there are just 4 calories in a 250ml serving. When I first unscrewed the top there was certainly a lot of fizz in the bottle and even three days later it hadn?t gone flat, so I was able to use most of it. I find that very cheap lemonades like the Tesco value diet ones lose their fizz over night, even if you have only drunk a small amount from the bottle and recapped it tightly. I used the lemonade in vodka and it does go very well. I don?t like my vodka drowned but I like enough lemonade in it to so that it doesn?t make my eyes water, if you know what I mean. yummy lemonade

...The product i'm going to review is my faithful schweppes diet Lemonade, i always keep a bottle of this in the fridge to go with my archers yum yum . Let me tell you a little about the company first, the company started way back in 1784 when Johann schweppes opened a soda factory in London then the schweppes family in 1834 relesed the lemonade and now the company is part of the cadbury company. The bottle comes as a 2 litre bottle wich lasts me about a night, it is clear plastic so you can see straight threw as the lemonade is clear as well.The lablel is blue silver with black writting saying schweppes with lemons cut into quaters i think the label makes the bottles. Artificial lemonade made with some lemon juice concentrate

...We had a garden party two weeks ago and we bought a lot of drinks. As there were some drivers among the guests we bought some fizzy drinks as well. One of them was R Whites Premium Lemonade. It is in a completely transparent plastic bottle, the drink itself looks like lemonades usual. The label on the bottle is yellow and green striped and it is written with large blue letters on it R Whites then below Premium and below Lemonade. This text has a yellow, lemon shape background. When you look at the bottle you think that this is really good lemonade. The label says that it is made with real lemons. As the price is quite good (0.97 pounds per bottle in Sainsbury's or 2 bottles for 1.5 pounds) you take it in your basket. The bottle contains 2 litres of lemonade. Great lemonade at a great price!

Advantages: Extremely cheap

...Contrary to most people I have never been into alcoholic drinks. Mostly because I cannot handle alcohol. Lemony drinking

Disadvantages: none, unless you want to avoid aspartame

Making lemonade with Maisy mouse

Advantages: good book
Disadvantages: no lemonade recipe

...pages explaining the picture. The story is about Maisy mouse on a sunny day she is drinking lemonade and shares it with her friend Eddie they soon finish the bottle and are still thirsty. Maisy has a lemon tree in her garden and she and Eddie pick them then they proceed to make lemonade squeezing the lemons adding sugar adding water. Eddie drinks all the lemonade while Maisy fetches the glasses. Now the book ends with Maisy saying Now you'll have to make some more. I enjoyed reading this book to Adrian and I am sure he will soon pick up the book to read for himself. This book would be suitable for foundation stage or key stage 1 reading. If I was reading this to a class I might have some props by my side, a lemon maybe a stuffed maisie mouse toy and an elephant. Flat lemonade anyone? Good for cleaning your drains maybe!

Advantages: Cheap price, recycable packaging.
Disadvantages: Not as nice as R Whites, chemical after-taste, not very lemony.

...that generally they are pretty good value for money, however, I would not even want to use this product as a mixer with vodka. The lemonade did not retain it's fizz after the initial opening and neither myself or my partner would be keen to buy this product again. The bottle can be recycled through your local service and I guess the lemonade would be ok if you were just looking for something cheap for the children to drink or for a childrens birthday party but for drinking alone or as a mixer I definitely would not recommend this product, hence the reason for the 1 star rating. The price is very reasonable but as I didn't even finish the bottle (or half of it for that matter!) it was a waste of money and I will be going back to my usual R Whites in the future....

...I have two ways to make lemonade and here they are: Method 1 Cut up lemons, and squeeze until juice is gone. Use about three or four for a nice sweet lemonade. Make sugar-water by boiling water with an equal amount of sugar. Don't allow it to cool before adding the lemons! Figure that for every four cups of water the juice from two whole lemons should be added. It should be nice and sweet,with no tartness from the lemon.
