lenovo 3000 n200
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: volume not very loud
...I've had my laptop since december 07 and love it, id be lost without it now. It does everything I want it to, its fast and very reailble, comes with wireless, finger reader so no typing in your passed word and many more features, won't pretend I know alot about computers but this has been above my expectations for the money and would definately recommend it, the only one disappointing thing was the volume its not very loud on full but you can buy speakers and it hasn't really been a problem. Also don't be put off my the name Lenovo I nearly was as Id never heard of them before, but Lenovo took over from IBM computers. honestly the price is great for what you get and its so easy to use. Don't be put off by Vista either I've had no trouble at all....

Lenovo 3000 N100 - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz
Advantages: High Spec, Powerful, Comfortable to use, System management
Disadvantages: Small touch pad, poor mouse buttons, poor sound from speakers
...In 2005 Lenovo took over IBMs thinkpad business and have since continued to build their own branded PCs and Laptops that are aimed at a lower market, i.e. cheaper starting prices than previous IBM models, moving away from business users, more towards small business and personal users.
This review is based on the Lenovo I have borrowed for a couple of months for a new Web project I'm working on. It belongs to a mate and I am reviewing it based upon my experience. This review will not contain comparisons with other Laptops. Thanks for your attention.....
The first two things that struck me when I saw this laptop were the looks, and the screen. Some call it dark gray, I call it matt black, with a silver cover and hinge covers this unit looks sleek. Not the best about but its not bad for a relatively new business (even if they did...

Lenovo 3000 N200 - well worth it
Advantages: Dual Core Processor, Fingerprint sensor
Disadvantages: Weight, size
...I bought this laptop about 4 months ago, and it was so worth it! It may be bigger than some laptops but feels a lot more substantial. So far Vista has not caused any problems - fingers crossed - however I have not installed many new programs so have not had to search for patches. The lenovo maintenance and security options have proved useful. Bit slow to start up, but that could be due to the fact that i havnt taken as much care with it as it should. Also, the battery life is not the best, but the use of power saver option improves this greatly in my opinion. Dual core processor has made this a lot quicker than my old laptop. Overall I have found this a very worthwhile purchase....

Lenovo
Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.
...I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review.
I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology.
Technical Bits:
The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also...

The LG LH3000 The truh
Advantages: cheap, 1080p brillaint sound, AV mode design... everything really
Disadvantages: --
... LG LH3000
Intro
I got this TV for my birthday for my room, it was £400 from argos which i thought was a bargin, and so it was. 1080p, 32", 80,000 to one sound contrast, 50hz, freeview, brillaint look and an energy saving button. i got this tv mainly to play on my ps3, i heard that 1080p and game consoles just made it so much more than a game, and it does, the size is the perfect the picture is wicked, but lets get into detail
Design
The LG3000 is glossy black just like a ps3 with invisible sound speakers. this makes the TV look as good as it can, sometimes if you put holes in a TV it either looks ugle or dust gets in it etc etc but this just gets ride of that problem and gets a better result (ill explane later) it comes with a stand easy to install and a plastic cover for when putting on a wall (cant see it just...

Nokia N97 - 'The new iPhone'
Advantages: 32gb Internal Memory, Nice Looking, Full QWERTY Keyboard, 5 MP Camera
Disadvantages: A Little Bulky, Price, Small Processer Makes The Phone Slow
... Intro
Being the previous owner of a Sony Ericsson w850 for over 2 years, I decided that it was time for a mobile phone upgrade. I had a few different phones in mind, the Apple iPhone, Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and the HTC Touch Pro, in the end I chose to buy the new Nokia N-Series phone. It was a clear choice over the iPhone because of the price, also you do not have to buy the phone AND pay a monthly contract fee with the N97.
Buying The Phone
After choosing the phone I decided that I wanted to switch to contract instead of pay as you go. At the time the phone was only available on the Vodafone and Orange networks, but I believe that you can get it on most major networks now. I had previously been with Orange and wasn't too impressed with their service, so I chose Vodafone, they also had better deals for the N97...

great phone, hopefully better than n96
Advantages: great screen, camera, storage
Disadvantages: cost
...hey guys!
this phone is great. no two ways about it. havent personally heard of any problems occurring with software, which happened quite quickly with the original n95 and the n96, so hopefully this is getting better.
STORAGE
the phone itself comes complete with 32GB of storage, a massive amount for a phone, with the iphone only offering a 16GB max. also ,the N97 has expandable storage of an extra 16GB, so thats a massive 48GB in total! plenty of space for movies (which you can watch) tv shows, music photos etc.
DISPLAY
3.5inch screen which has a handy little tilt in it, so you can actually set it flat on a table and still use the keypad, much like a teeny weeny laptop, or you can watch your movies etc like that.
16m colours so very high quality.
FEATURES
ok, the phone has a 5mp camera, which is pretty good as...

Review - The Nokia N97 vs The iPhone 3GS
Advantages: Good Looking, Durable, Huge Memory, Very Very Good QWERTY keyboard
Disadvantages: Tiny processor leading to lag and application crashes
... The Nokia N97
Nokia have announced the follow up to their 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen phone. The Nokia N97, which utilises a 3.5 inch touchscreen and slide out QUERTY keyboard.
Appearance
The overall design of the N97 is not at all unique, looking like the lovechild of a Google G1 and Apple iPhone, comparisons have also been drawn to the AT&T Tilt, and rightly so. Despite Nokia's lack of imagination the N97 is a nice looking thing, apart from a small button in the bottom left corner, the 3.5 inch touchscreen dominates and looks sleek and well designed.
When the QUERTY keyboard is slid out the screen sits at an angle, looking remarkably like the HTC TyTN. The N97 is both larger and thicker than the iPhone, which isn't exactly inconspicuous itself, this makes the N97 feel a little too large, especially...

Computing on a budget
Advantages: good processor speed and built in graphics card, responsive mouse, 15 inch TFT screen
Disadvantages: base is cumbersome and fan heats bottom up to boiling temperatures
...At work I use a very good computer, no expense is spared as many readers of my last opinion will know, but for my home computing needs I do not have the resources to spend lots of money on a top of the range tower system or large TFT screened laptop. Instead, I opt for budget laptop that had the best specifications for the money I had available and this was the Lenovo 3000 C200 which cost me only 550 Euros (approximately £390). The best price I find this laptop was on the internet, most computer stores sell the Lenovo 3000 C200 for in the region of 700 Euros.
For the price I paid I expect a laptop of dubious build quality and lacking in processor power and software. What I got was surprising and I have to say, a real joy knowing that I had received a very good deal for a laptop that when taken out of the packaging had the look...

Budget Laptop for £400 mark?
Advantages: Good build quality, includes Vista, reasonable performance
Disadvantages: Not sure about the Lenovo Suite of Programs included
... Lenovo N200 3000 0769 B5G Laptop I took delivery of my IBM/Lenovo Laptop from laptopsdirect.co.uk about 10 days or so ago. The price on the website is £429.97 however, I took a chance and opted for a 'box-opened' model at the price of £407.44. I ordered on a Sunday evening and received it on Tuesday lunchtime at a cost of £17.57.
On opening the box I found:
1 x laptop
1 x power cable
1 x Lenovo Service and Troubleshooting Guide
1 x Safety and Warranty Guide
1 x Quick Start Guide
and various regulatory notices.
The machine was in pristine condition despite the price reduction (the website does say that the machine was in A1 condition just the original packaging may be damaged).
First impressions where of a solid, quite large laptop in a silvery smooth plastic casing. The casing is rigid and does not flex under...
