Lenovo

Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.

...I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review. I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology. Technical Bits: The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also...

Extremely Over Priced PC

Advantages: The case dosn't look too bad
Disadvantages: Addequate but outdated CPU

...significantly lower than Lenovo is 3Ghz upwards. Quite how the ThinkCentre A55 hopes to even try to compete with other manufacturers offering 3-4Ghz CPU's with a price tag of around £50 less is somewhat of a mystery. Having said that, as my mate has proven with flying colours.."there is one born every minute" The memory installed is on a par with most budget PC's and is supplied with 512Mb DDR II SDRAM. Thankfully memory these days is a relatively cheap upgrade option. The hard drive installed again is somewhat below acceptable for the price tag. The A55 is supplied with an 80Gb hard drive. Although this size of drive is acceptable, for £400 you would expect something around 100 -120Gb in size. The graphics card is on-board as is the norm with all budget PC's. The graphics memory is shared with the PC's RAM and is adjustable via the PC...

Lenovo IdeaPad review

Advantages: good performance
Disadvantages: somthing bad

...I have used an Lenovo IdeaPad for my favorite laptop which is used to blog my blogs. when I was about looking for the new and good laptop to replace my old computer,I was surprised by its thin and light body and beautiful design ,and it costs about 500 pounds . It is made by a big company which I love and trust,so there is no problem about hard ware .And the battery life seems lasting about 4 or 5 hours in normal situation,it depends on the energy mode. I should appreciate the new energy star options for its brillant function. It has a very nice design for its users. As I know, when you buy this new stuff, you will see that It has loaded the Microsoft Office already in a trial period ,I personally think it take you about some time to observe the performance before you have to buy it,but at least you don't have to load the microsoft...

THINK REALLY

Advantages: very good processor with unique vast features.
Disadvantages: the flat screen looks too fragile.

...Well I have to come with the review of PC computer. Lenevo think center is a brand of computer that never made waves in the computer market. But I decided to give it a try by buying it and wanted to get rid of the popular dell, IBM and apple computers for some time. Well the lenovo think center computer has proved to be a bit different. Some features actually made me to purchase the product and are features like the administrator password, power on password, booting without mouse and key board, hard drive I/O control, usb control, serial port I/O control, boss Sequence control and diskette I/O control. These are the features that really made me to splash at about £250.60 on it. The lenovo thinkcentre A55 9265 Pentium D 915 2.8 GHz computer has host of unique think vantage technologies at competitive price. The processor...

Lenovo T61 with Linux

Advantages: High quality notebook
Disadvantages: Higher price

...I tried new Lenovo T61 with configuration: Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz 1GB RAM nVidia Quadro 140M 100GB 7200RPM disc 14.1" wide screen 1440x900px Webcamera, fingerprint reader Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN 6 cell battery New thinkpad is traditionally whole black. It is very well built as usual. Nothing screapes and the keyboard is nice acurrate.Titan-Magnesium hardeness was improved by hardening back part of chassis. The only thing where is the influence of Lenovo on IBM shown are the connectors for reproductors and microphone. They were placed in front of laptop what is not so handsome. After few hours of initial testing i revealed a small bug - it is impossible to change the backlight intensity for the display. I tried to run a Linux system so i have to write some hints: The graphics card works well with the newest...

Advantages: Every feature is special
Disadvantages: nothing

Lenovo R61I is amazing!

Advantages: This comes with bluetooth, 1GB per sec. wifi card, and cd dvd r&rw drive.
Disadvantages: The power management center goofs up some, The internal coolant system could use work.

...I used to have tons of problems with computers, big surprise! I have tried all of the major brands like Compaq, Acer, Dell, E-Machine, HP, etc. These have all been desktops. After shopping around I found the best deal I could possibly find. The Lenovo R61I, It had all the features I could think of that I would ever need with a price I could afford! My only concern was the performance that it could have. I figured with all the features there had to be some draw back. I powered up the display and begun running random applications individually and several at a time. There was a split second lag however nothing to be worried about. I have had a few problems with this but all of my problems I had with this machine equal up to less than 1% of the problems I had with my other computers. In the rare event that you do have a problem you can just...

lenovo 3000 n200

Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: volume not very loud

...I've had my laptop since december 07 and love it, id be lost without it now. It does everything I want it to, its fast and very reailble, comes with wireless, finger reader so no typing in your passed word and many more features, won't pretend I know alot about computers but this has been above my expectations for the money and would definately recommend it, the only one disappointing thing was the volume its not very loud on full but you can buy speakers and it hasn't really been a problem. Also don't be put off my the name Lenovo I nearly was as Id never heard of them before, but Lenovo took over from IBM computers. honestly the price is great for what you get and its so easy to use. Don't be put off by Vista either I've had no trouble at all....

Lenovo Z61m

Advantages: Good for media work, WideScreen quality Graphics.
Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.

...because of the heat problems. I find when not in my lap I have to "stand on its side" to allow the heat to radiate properly as it cannot be left on normal everyday surfaces in its normal position unless in air-conditioning, where it works quite well. The microphone is very very poor .. veering on defective and recordings made are abysmal even when a good quality mike is plugged in. The batteries on this range of computers were largely faulty however only a number were subject to a recall. I acquired my z61m from a batch-buy of these machines along with other colleagues. Amongst all of us only two have original batteries which are still operational. The Lenovo site's recall service is based on the serial number of the batteries. Although we all had the same computer (and presumably batteries) only some of us managed to avail...

ThinkCentre... Think Smarter

Advantages: Slimline, Well Featured, Looks Good
Disadvantages: No Firewire, Not thought out properly

...ThinkCentre... Think Smarter IBM?s range of workstations have always been backed up with a long history, after all shouldn?t IBM be the experts, they did ?invent? the PC after all! IBM?s ThinkCentre range represents IBM?s mid-range business workstations, enough power and multimedia capabilities to run the top end office and productivity, whilst keeping costs down to make the systems as affordable as possible. A hidden but equally important part of the ThinkCentres resides inside the computer and installed on the hard drives, these discrete design decisions and software packages that are shipped with the machines. I have recently installed 86 IBM ThinkCentre S50?s at work; this review is my attempt to distil my experiences into words. WHATS IN THE BOX? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When the box arrives at your door, or in my case three...
