Siemens M55 - Total Disappointment
Advantages: can be used as a data modem
Disadvantages: bad buttons, can't change the case, short battery life, small memory, slow processing
...I have been using a Siemens M55 mobile phone for over 3 years. It was my first cell phone but I can easily say I was not able to get what I expected from it.
You can never know the disadvantages of a product if you don't use another and compare. After using another phone I saw that Siemens M55 has many disadvantages and doesn't worth the money you would pay for it.
It doesn't have any free communication options such as bluetooth or infrared. You can't send or recieve any data (like photos, music or anything else) to your friends without using MMS or GPRS and it costs extra money.
The buttons on the panel are not satisfying because they make noises as you push. If you are keen on sending SMS messages, then this product is NOT a good idea for you. Additionally, you can't change the colors of it as it doesn't have the option to change...

Lenovo
Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.
...I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review.
I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology.
Technical Bits:
The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also...

Lenovo IdeaPad review
Advantages: good performance
Disadvantages: somthing bad
...I have used an Lenovo IdeaPad for my favorite laptop which is used to blog my blogs.
when I was about looking for the new and good laptop to replace my old computer,I was surprised by its thin and light body and beautiful design ,and it costs about 500 pounds .
It is made by a big company which I love and trust,so there is no problem about hard ware .And the battery life seems lasting about 4 or 5 hours in normal situation,it depends on the energy mode. I should appreciate the new energy star options for its brillant function.
It has a very nice design for its users. As I know, when you buy this new stuff, you will see that It has loaded the Microsoft Office already in a trial period ,I personally think it take you about some time to observe the performance before you have to buy it,but at least you don't have to load the microsoft...

Lenovo T61 with Linux
Advantages: High quality notebook
Disadvantages: Higher price
...I tried new Lenovo T61 with configuration:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz
1GB RAM
nVidia Quadro 140M
100GB 7200RPM disc
14.1" wide screen 1440x900px
Webcamera, fingerprint reader
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
6 cell battery
New thinkpad is traditionally whole black. It is very well built as usual. Nothing screapes and the keyboard is nice acurrate.Titan-Magnesium
hardeness was improved by hardening back part of chassis. The only thing where is the influence of Lenovo on IBM shown are the connectors for reproductors and microphone.
They were placed in front of laptop what is not so handsome.
After few hours of initial testing i revealed a small bug - it is impossible to change the backlight intensity for the display.
I tried to run a Linux system so i have to write some hints:
The graphics card works well with the newest...

lenovo 3000 n200
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: volume not very loud
...I've had my laptop since december 07 and love it, id be lost without it now. It does everything I want it to, its fast and very reailble, comes with wireless, finger reader so no typing in your passed word and many more features, won't pretend I know alot about computers but this has been above my expectations for the money and would definately recommend it, the only one disappointing thing was the volume its not very loud on full but you can buy speakers and it hasn't really been a problem. Also don't be put off my the name Lenovo I nearly was as Id never heard of them before, but Lenovo took over from IBM computers. honestly the price is great for what you get and its so easy to use. Don't be put off by Vista either I've had no trouble at all....

Lenovo Z61m
Advantages: Good for media work, WideScreen quality Graphics.
Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.
...because of the heat problems. I find when not in my lap I have to "stand on its side" to allow the heat to radiate properly as it cannot be left on normal everyday surfaces in its normal position unless in air-conditioning, where it works quite well.
The microphone is very very poor .. veering on defective and recordings made are abysmal even when a good quality mike is plugged in.
The batteries on this range of computers were largely faulty however only a number were subject to a recall. I acquired my z61m from a batch-buy of these machines along with other colleagues. Amongst all of us only two have original batteries which are still operational. The Lenovo site's recall service is based on the serial number of the batteries. Although we all had the same computer (and presumably batteries) only some of us managed to avail...

ibm does good again
Advantages: ibms past record
Disadvantages: poor choice of graphics port
...I've got one of these, in fact I'm writing this review on it right now. I bought it for £200 at my local auctions 2 years ago (14th Feb 2007 to be exact) & I'm still getting great use out of it. It looks sleek with its all black case, keyboard & mouse.
It's really easy to do upgrades on as it requires no tools to open the case or remove any parts. I upgraded the dvd-rom in mine to a rewriter & it took minutes to do & was as quick to get running & burning with.
It might not have a super high powered graphics card but the on-board chip handles games pretty well. I've been able to play both Quake 4 & Half Life 2 at fairly decent speeds.
The port to fit a graphics card is a slightly annoying issue as it's intended for a standard PCI card & I was expecting to find an AGP port but I guess thats the price you pay for buying what was only...

Lenovo 3000 N100 - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz
Advantages: High Spec, Powerful, Comfortable to use, System management
Disadvantages: Small touch pad, poor mouse buttons, poor sound from speakers
...In 2005 Lenovo took over IBMs thinkpad business and have since continued to build their own branded PCs and Laptops that are aimed at a lower market, i.e. cheaper starting prices than previous IBM models, moving away from business users, more towards small business and personal users.
This review is based on the Lenovo I have borrowed for a couple of months for a new Web project I'm working on. It belongs to a mate and I am reviewing it based upon my experience. This review will not contain comparisons with other Laptops. Thanks for your attention.....
The first two things that struck me when I saw this laptop were the looks, and the screen. Some call it dark gray, I call it matt black, with a silver cover and hinge covers this unit looks sleek. Not the best about but its not bad for a relatively new business (even if they did...

Lenovo R61I is amazing!
Advantages: This comes with bluetooth, 1GB per sec. wifi card, and cd dvd r&rw drive.
Disadvantages: The power management center goofs up some, The internal coolant system could use work.
...I used to have tons of problems with computers, big surprise! I have tried all of the major brands like Compaq, Acer, Dell, E-Machine, HP, etc. These have all been desktops. After shopping around I found the best deal I could possibly find. The Lenovo R61I, It had all the features I could think of that I would ever need with a price I could afford! My only concern was the performance that it could have. I figured with all the features there had to be some draw back. I powered up the display and begun running random applications individually and several at a time. There was a split second lag however nothing to be worried about. I have had a few problems with this but all of my problems I had with this machine equal up to less than 1% of the problems I had with my other computers. In the rare event that you do have a problem you can just...

The Lenovo X60 6364 The Good and the Bad
Advantages: Durable, Powerful, Good Tablet, Amazing battery life, Never overheats, quiet, expansion capabilities, small lightweight,
Disadvantages: old looking, bad graphics card, no CD/DVD drive, bad speaker position
...up your mouse, and move it back to the middle.
I don't know if you are able to upgrade it, like get a better processor or add more ram or get a larger or faster hard drive, but i'm sure you can. As I recall reading somewhere that the ram is upgradeable. So I would say this is a great laptop, except from the price, this is a pricey laptop, so I would advise to look around for different deals for this laptop, as I have seen there are more than one. There are variants of the Lenovo X60 Tablet, so have a look at some of those, even though they may vary slightly, but not much, in specifications. This review could in some ways help you decide, if you want to buy a different Lenovo X60, a different model than this one, as I believe allot of things are the same, mainly only varying in the hard disk drive size and processor type.
So all in...
