Lenovo T61 with Linux
Advantages: High quality notebook
Disadvantages: Higher price
...I tried new Lenovo T61 with configuration:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz
1GB RAM
nVidia Quadro 140M
100GB 7200RPM disc
14.1" wide screen 1440x900px
Webcamera, fingerprint reader
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
6 cell battery
New thinkpad is traditionally whole black. It is very well built as usual. Nothing screapes and the keyboard is nice acurrate.Titan-Magnesium
hardeness was improved by hardening back part of chassis. The only thing where is the influence of Lenovo on IBM shown are the connectors for reproductors and microphone.
They were placed in front of laptop what is not so handsome.
After few hours of initial testing i revealed a small bug - it is impossible to change the backlight intensity for the display.
I tried to run a Linux system so i have to write some hints:
The graphics card works well with the newest...

Lenovo
Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
Disadvantages: Slightly sluggish compared to some higher end machines.
...I own a Lenovo 3000 N100 and use it daily for personal use. I also use a Dell Latitude D620 for work, but I will try not to compare them too much to each other in this review.
I acquired the Lenovo after my previous Laptop (a Medion) died and couldn't be resurrected by the Insurance company - so I didn't actually go out and buy this one specifically. In actual fact, it is much better than my Medion, although this may be due to the passage of time and better technology.
Technical Bits:
The laptop has a Core Duo processor (I think mine is 1.7Ghz not 1.83 as listed in the header). It has 512MB RAM, a DVD writer, fingerprint recognition and a nifty web cam in the lid. It has built in Wifi which works well. It has 4 USB ports, although annoyingly these are on the side - I prefer them at the back (especially fr the mouse). It also...

Advanced Notebook
Advantages: Latest DRR3 RAM, fast processor
Disadvantages: Average Graphics and Battery Back-up
...Lenovo Thinkpad T400 2765
**********************
Lenovo, The IBM Group Company is still leading with business computing. There are many models of personal computers and notebooks are available but we have some kind of incompleteness that this should be or should not be. But it is the rule of nature that we always require some more but the requirement always keep growing up. Have a look on new machine or notebook from Lenovo which can be a good companion of your daily routine life.
***
The Speed
Speed, means the processing speed of any computing machine is very important and it should be as fast as we require and this notebook also has a good processor with new P series from Intel, and it is Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 with total clock speed of 2.4 GHz. Wow the 2.4 GHz speed is presently considered as good enough and the processing speed...

Lenovo 3000 N100 - Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz
Advantages: High Spec, Powerful, Comfortable to use, System management
Disadvantages: Small touch pad, poor mouse buttons, poor sound from speakers
...In 2005 Lenovo took over IBMs thinkpad business and have since continued to build their own branded PCs and Laptops that are aimed at a lower market, i.e. cheaper starting prices than previous IBM models, moving away from business users, more towards small business and personal users.
This review is based on the Lenovo I have borrowed for a couple of months for a new Web project I'm working on. It belongs to a mate and I am reviewing it based upon my experience. This review will not contain comparisons with other Laptops. Thanks for your attention.....
The first two things that struck me when I saw this laptop were the looks, and the screen. Some call it dark gray, I call it matt black, with a silver cover and hinge covers this unit looks sleek. Not the best about but its not bad for a relatively new business (even if they did...

Lenovo IdeaPad review
Advantages: good performance
Disadvantages: somthing bad
...I have used an Lenovo IdeaPad for my favorite laptop which is used to blog my blogs.
when I was about looking for the new and good laptop to replace my old computer,I was surprised by its thin and light body and beautiful design ,and it costs about 500 pounds .
It is made by a big company which I love and trust,so there is no problem about hard ware .And the battery life seems lasting about 4 or 5 hours in normal situation,it depends on the energy mode. I should appreciate the new energy star options for its brillant function.
It has a very nice design for its users. As I know, when you buy this new stuff, you will see that It has loaded the Microsoft Office already in a trial period ,I personally think it take you about some time to observe the performance before you have to buy it,but at least you don't have to load the microsoft...

My precious treasure
Advantages: Long battery life, cool under working conditions.
Disadvantages: ThinkLight is a little bit too bright
...Over the past few weeks, I have been sourcing for notebooks everywhere because I need one for my own personal use, and also to use it when I am outside. Acer, Fujitsu and Apple, they all have quite good and unique features but what I needed was a notebook with not too many sophisticated features and has adequate security solutions. Most of my friends use Acer but they did not advice me to get this brand. They told me that Acer's notebooks have quite short battery lives and that the exterior finishes are easily stained. So, I began my own exploration at a shopping mall which sells IT products. Walking and walking, until I found a notebook of my choice---Lenovo ThinkPad T400. I was pleased with its finishes and the looks. I asked for more information about the RAM and the security features it has. It has the latest DDR3 RAM. Security...

Undoubtedly the best laptops on the market
Advantages: Built-in 3G (optional); keyboard light; build quality, excellent software
Disadvantages: A little heavy due to build quality; some will find them ugly
...I've owned Lenovo/IBM laptops now for about 5 years - starting with a T20 and moving up through the lines to a T61 type 6464
I work in IT and have done a lot of contract and consulting work which means I get exposure to a broad range of different laptops. My friends who also work in IT also have a variety of different laptops. I can honestly say that I have never been jealous of anyone else's laptop (except for one friend who has the X61 Tablet) in a very very long time - these machines are really great!
In this day and age there is very little to distinguish one manufacturer from another for the most part - it used to be a lot easier; a few years ago and you could look at the spec sheets of two laptops and you would immediately know which was the better machine. Now as battery life; CPU speed, RAM and HDD space and monitor sizes...

lenovo 3000 n200
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: volume not very loud
...I've had my laptop since december 07 and love it, id be lost without it now. It does everything I want it to, its fast and very reailble, comes with wireless, finger reader so no typing in your passed word and many more features, won't pretend I know alot about computers but this has been above my expectations for the money and would definately recommend it, the only one disappointing thing was the volume its not very loud on full but you can buy speakers and it hasn't really been a problem. Also don't be put off my the name Lenovo I nearly was as Id never heard of them before, but Lenovo took over from IBM computers. honestly the price is great for what you get and its so easy to use. Don't be put off by Vista either I've had no trouble at all....

Lenovo Z61m
Advantages: Good for media work, WideScreen quality Graphics.
Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.
...the recall even though the battery problem was more or less identical.
There are similar problems with the chargers which are prone to failure or breakage. I personally know of at least four users including myself who have had to buy new chargers within months of purchase.
This computer is NOT an IBM machine which from what I know tended to be far better. It is "relatively" reliable in spite of all these problems mentioned above. I feel however that it shan't last much longer than maybe 3 years... and might just not start up one day.
I almost suspect that Lenovo have deliberately inspected limited consumer durability into their products.. mainly batteries and chargers in order to compel purchases. Both the charger and battery if bought together cost the better part of £200 which is quite expensive considering you can a reasonable...

Lenovo R61I is amazing!
Advantages: This comes with bluetooth, 1GB per sec. wifi card, and cd dvd r&rw drive.
Disadvantages: The power management center goofs up some, The internal coolant system could use work.
...I used to have tons of problems with computers, big surprise! I have tried all of the major brands like Compaq, Acer, Dell, E-Machine, HP, etc. These have all been desktops. After shopping around I found the best deal I could possibly find. The Lenovo R61I, It had all the features I could think of that I would ever need with a price I could afford! My only concern was the performance that it could have. I figured with all the features there had to be some draw back. I powered up the display and begun running random applications individually and several at a time. There was a split second lag however nothing to be worried about. I have had a few problems with this but all of my problems I had with this machine equal up to less than 1% of the problems I had with my other computers. In the rare event that you do have a problem you can just...
