...found harddrive space no problem at all- I store music and work and photos on it, but very few and short videos, and haven't installed many games. The 512Mb RAM is possibly a little low- Lenovo automatically install software that regularly reminds you to back up your hard drive and defragment, etc- which is good, as it means you are more likely to do so, which is good for your machine, however bad as it obviously slows down the machine further. At startup, therefore, the machine is rather slow, however speeds up once everything has registered and the computer has sorted itself out. Another useful thing with this laptop is a little light that you can switch on so that you can see your keyboard in the dark, if that is something you would need. As with all laptops, this one has it's own allocation of function keys on the keyboard...

Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.

Advantages: Build Quility, Thinkpad Features, Good Performance.

I find this laptop to be more than adequate for these tasks. If running Windows XP/Vista make sure you keep your drive defragmented- this helps a lot. Look+Feel- This is, of course, what makes thinkpads legendary. The keyboard is simply the best I have ever used. It strikes the perfect balance between clunky and too light. High quality plastic is used throughout, as you would expect, and the screen has plenty of protection behind it. ...Personally, I have had a great experience with this laptop. I will start with the bad, which is only a few things, and then end with the good, which is LOADS of things. First of all, the looks, like all IBM ThinkPad's, it looks hideous, or that is what I think. It is black, and has this weird, dull material on the back, which makes it look very old, like a spectrum from 10 years ago. It has this HUGE battery at the back, which makes it look horrible, if you remove the battery looks much better. When you look at it, it does seem as if it is from the 90s, and I personally think that is partly down to the IBM logo, which looks old, and reminds you of the time where computers were merely command lines, and the only thing that came out of the speakers, were beeps. Lenovo R61I is amazing!

Advantages: This comes with bluetooth, 1GB per sec. wifi card, and cd dvd r&rw drive.

Advantages: Built in webcam. fingerprint recognition that works, good customer support.
