The Lenovo X60 6364 The Good and the Bad
Advantages: Durable, Powerful, Good Tablet, Amazing battery life, Never overheats, quiet, expansion capabilities, small lightweight,
Disadvantages: old looking, bad graphics card, no CD/DVD drive, bad speaker position
....
Heat, this computer NEVER overheats. It hardly ever gets hot, only if I am playing a game for an hour, and have got it on my lap, and are half blocking the fan. Then it would start to get hot, but if you leave it for a few minutes, it will cool itself down pretty fast.
Noise, honestly, the FAN makes absolutely no noise; this laptop is pretty much silent. As I said before, it only speed up when playing a CPU consuming game, and having the fan half blocked, will you ever hear it, and when you do, it is still pretty quiet. It is by far, the quietest laptop in my house. So the fan is really good, efficient and silent.
The dock. There is a dock which you can purchase with this laptop, and with similar models of the Lenovo X60 Tablet 6364. It is called the Ultrabay. It expands the uses of your laptop by adding more USB sockets, and more...

IBM ThinkPad X41
Advantages: Extreme performace and user experience
Disadvantages: 128 mb graphics memory low performance
...IBM Thinkpad x41 with the Ultrabase is the best and most powerful laptop of its kind. 1.3 kg and with the 8 cell battery up to 6 hours operating time, it is mostly suited for travelers and collage students
Instead of the standard 512 mb of RAM, ive got the 1.5 GB installed, so it is faster and has better performance.
It has the touchpoint interface, which is the second best after the mouse because it is more precise than the touchPad.
The ThinkLight HDD protection is useful when you are traveling by bus or train because it suits itself to repeated bumps and allows the HDD run even with heavy vibration.
As suited to IBMs, there is a little light in the edge of the monitor, which is very good in the dark.
Especially I like the location of the processor cooling vent, which is on the side and keeps the processor cool even...

Compact and efficient
Advantages: Does a great job quickly
Disadvantages: No optical media
...Although no longer part of the IBM empire the Thinkpad series of notebooks and laptops are still excellent machines and are now made by Lenovo. The newer models are still very popular even when the quite high prices are considered. This is probably part of the IBM legacy since the computers still show the IBM logo on boot up. The X32 although still available is now pretty rare, but even by today?s standards some 4 years after their conception I have found my 1.8GHz model to fair very well, and in some cases win hands down. I had to put a lot of work into mine since it had not been used for a while and had been neglected for years ago so I re-installed Windows XP I did think about Vista but I?m not a big fan of it. Now cleaned up and working perfectly, I feel my Thinkpad is superior to many of the shiny plastic Laptop...

Lenovo ThinkPad R60e
Advantages: easy to use, long battery life
Disadvantages: no mouse touchpad, slow due to security software
...found harddrive space no problem at all- I store music and work and photos on it, but very few and short videos, and haven't installed many games. The 512Mb RAM is possibly a little low- Lenovo automatically install software that regularly reminds you to back up your hard drive and defragment, etc- which is good, as it means you are more likely to do so, which is good for your machine, however bad as it obviously slows down the machine further. At startup, therefore, the machine is rather slow, however speeds up once everything has registered and the computer has sorted itself out.
Another useful thing with this laptop is a little light that you can switch on so that you can see your keyboard in the dark, if that is something you would need.
As with all laptops, this one has it's own allocation of function keys on the keyboard...

Think Thinkpad
Advantages: Speedy, Robust, Good graphics card, Connectivity
Disadvantages: Not the prettiest of designs, Annoying keyboard layout w/ no Windows key and Fn/Ctrl key placement
...INTRODUCTION
I bought myself a used IBM / Lenovo Thinkpad T41 for £129 and although it's a pretty old machine (probably from 2004) and fairly low spec by today's standards, I still feel it was a bargain. This was from Cash Converters.
DESIGN
The machine, like all IBM (now made by Lenovo) notebooks are intended for business users and so the design is not particularly sleek but instead, have a very 'professional' look to them. They all seem to be black with a little bit of red on the button and either a red or blue knob for controlling the mouse pointer. Some people think they're on the ugly side but I actually quite like the look of the Thinkpads. I've noticed that all IBM / Lenovo Thinkpads look alike and have the same body, keyboard and use the same smooth black matte material rather than plastic that most other...

Lenovo Z61m
Advantages: Good for media work, WideScreen quality Graphics.
Disadvantages: Lenovo suck... totally.... This computer can only be used in air-conditioning.
...This is a relatively OK computer in terms of other laptops in its league and excels at multimedia work and could have been much much better. It is let down by various problems and annoyances largely the doing of Lenovo. Although it does have "character" you can get quite used to it.
Firstly the removal of the sticker from the "stainless titanium" cover of the computer leaves unsightly stains deep set in the metal... The "award-winning" ThinkVantage "Lenovo-ware" which comes with the computer is needless, excruciatingly slow, infuriating and generally a total load of rot.
In particular the ThinkVantage Access Connections is dreadful and starts eating up RAM and freezing the computer even if you just accidentally click on the icon in the taskbar. It is pointless trying to find a network using the ThinkVantage Access...

Think Smart, ThinkPad
Advantages: many unique features, robust, trustworthy
Disadvantages: more expensive than some brands
...I bought this laptop on insurance, as my previous ThinkPad was stolen and I loved it so much that I couldn't bear to buy a different brand.
In my opinion, the Lenovo ThinkPad is the best laptop you could possibly buy for all-round performance, reliability, and features, but I will endeavour to make this review as unbiased as possible, and I will split it into different sections for easy reading.
LOOKS/DESIGN
We all know looks do matter, and the ThinkPad is nothing if not distinctive in design.
Unusually amongst modern laptops, the ThinkPad does not have sleek silver curves everywhere. Instead, it is a matt black cuboid, with a nice texture. Some people may not prefer this, as I have been told "It looks like it's from the 80s", but the understatedness of the design is much less showy than most modern laptops, suggesting there is...

The Legend of Thinkpad
Advantages: Build Quility, Thinkpad Features, Good Performance.
Disadvantages: Not flashy, slightly heavy/bulky
...I have so far been using this notebook for around 4 months. Here are my experiences:
Speed- I use this computer for word processing, internet-surfing, email, music, and running an eBay business. I find this laptop to be more than adequate for these tasks. If running Windows XP/Vista make sure you keep your drive defragmented- this helps a lot.
Look+Feel- This is, of course, what makes thinkpads legendary. The keyboard is simply the best I have ever used. It strikes the perfect balance between clunky and too light. High quality plastic is used throughout, as you would expect, and the screen has plenty of protection behind it. Ways to navigate include both a touchpad and trackpoint, although I would recommend a mouse for long periods of use.
Capacity- The 120GB is more than enough for my needs, although users with huge, lossless...

Advanced Notebook
Advantages: Latest DRR3 RAM, fast processor
Disadvantages: Average Graphics and Battery Back-up
...Lenovo Thinkpad T400 2765
**********************
Lenovo, The IBM Group Company is still leading with business computing. There are many models of personal computers and notebooks are available but we have some kind of incompleteness that this should be or should not be. But it is the rule of nature that we always require some more but the requirement always keep growing up. Have a look on new machine or notebook from Lenovo which can be a good companion of your daily routine life.
***
The Speed
Speed, means the processing speed of any computing machine is very important and it should be as fast as we require and this notebook also has a good processor with new P series from Intel, and it is Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 with total clock speed of 2.4 GHz. Wow the 2.4 GHz speed is presently considered as good enough and the processing speed...
