...on the computer I realised that within this I had an even better picture of an old man and lady cuddled up on a bench under an umbrella. I cropped it and because I had been using a camera with a huge megapixel I was able to remove this section from the picture with ease. So that is Megapixels taken care of let's move on. A huge part of buying the correct camera for you should go on how it looks and how it handles and the Sony A350 looks and handles brilliantly. It has the sleek and classy look of a camera much more expensive than it actually is and when in hand it feels heavy enough to be reassuring but not so heavy that it begins to feel awkward. Obviously being a DSLR camera it has interchangeable lenses so the weight of the camera will differ depending on the lens being used but even with a large telephoto lens this is still a comfortable weight...

Finest Fuji Finepix A350

Advantages: Quality, Size, Design, Look, Price, Brand
Disadvantages: None as yet

...local boots store which has all the cameras on display and they allow you to handle them before buying. After spending the best part of an hour looking at two different camera one being this one and the other being the Fuji A345 which has a lesser specification, I decided to buy the Fuji A350 digital camera mainly because of the specification. *Why I really bought this model over the others? I loved the small sleek look that this camera was offering it look very modern it comparison to many other on the market. Full coated in a smooth silver finish I thought it looked the part. Not to mention the fact that it had one of the best specifications available within my budget of £200. Great overall feel and value for money

Advantages: Great picture quality, easy to use, many manual functions
Disadvantages: Tends to underexpose at high ISO's

...I used this camera on a few occations and can honestly tell you it is a great camera with excellent value for money. Sony really came a far way with their cameras and their quality is really high. You can't go wrong with any of their new camera products. The Sony A350 is no exception. The picture quality is great, the controls are really easy with a lot of functions. It's really easy to for beginners and pros alike. It's great for makro shots and just as great for nice landscape photos. I have done great photography of forests and mountains with this camera. I do however want to say that it tends to underexpose a little bit when using high ISO's, but shouldn't be a big problem. I can suggest this camera for anyone who wants to buy this kind of camera. It really delivers....

Sony SAL16F28 Fisheye Lens.

Advantages: 180* Field of View, Color Correction Filters, Crisp Detail at close shots.
Disadvantages: Only fixable to the Sony DSLR-A100 Camera.

The Fujifilm FinePix A350

Advantages: Fairly small/compact, cheap, good picture quality, rechargable batteries last a good while
Disadvantages: Bigger memory card needed (but easily available), occasional temper

...To be honest, this camera is my first and although not my choice it has proven to be very handy. The camera itself is of average size and weight. The A350 includes all the basic functions - flash, zoom, you are able to change the pixel quality (and it displays how many photo's your memory card can further hold), self timer and different shooting modes e.g.night, sport, landscape. The camera also allows you to record videos - the length depends on the size of the memory card, which is fairly cheap to buy. However the one that comes with the camera doesn't really prove very useful but at least its a common memory card (XD picture card). The A350 displays if the camera isn't steady. Another bonus is that after a while the camera's screen switches off if left - saving battery. Talking of batteries i've put I rechargables in mine...

A Great System from Sony

Advantages: Nice Classy Design, Great Graphics, and a Good Online

Good starter lens

Advantages: standard zoom kit lens, KM compatible
Disadvantages: some darkening at widest angle

...This is the standard lens that comes with the new Sony Alpha 100 digital SLR camera (dSLR). It fits on to a the Sony a-mount or for those who have one of the old Konica Minolta Dynax camera, it will fit in the KM-mount. However it is a digital only lens so film purists will not be served well by it. Taking photos with this lens using the Sony camera is a dodle. The auto-focus or manual is done on the camera body so the lens only has two controls and those are lens length and manual focus if you are using it that way. The lens length is a large ring control in the centre which is of smooth operation with just enough resistance so you don't knock it accidently but not so much where movements could be jerky. Auto-focus is fast and very reliable but not as quiet as some would like, certainly not one for stealth operation! Manual...

Great 2nd Lens

Advantages: Fast Focus, well built, reliable excellent performance all round
Disadvantages: Heavy, you will need a tripod

...As you may be gathering, I have been investing in camera stuff recently... This is the 2nd lens I bought for my camera which is excellent. It takes very good and sharp pictures all the way through and is not prone to glare, possibly due to the very large hood it comes with! The operation of the lens is very simple and fits on both the Sony a-mount as well as the Konica Minolta mount. Zooming is done through a large in the middle and if you are focusing manually it is through a front ring. Again there is no distance indicator for the focus ring but that is only useful for nerds as you will not be able to focus and measure distance at the same time unless you want to get a tape out to check! The longest zoom is at 300mm. Now bear in mind that digital SLR cameras have a "crop" factor in the majority of cases and the Sony a-100 has...

  Another 5 star Sony!

Advantages: Great functions, east to use, looks and feels good and produces great images.
Disadvantages: The kit lens isnt the best and no live view may bother some.
