AdvantagesCamellia is a great character. Lots of twists and turns involved in plot.

DisadvantagesSome sex scenes which you may find off-putting

...and to a latter extent, physically) in her quest to uncover Bonnie's secret and without giving too much away, it's also an emotional ending but not for the reasons that you'd expect. Events in this book loosely follow on from the ending of another of Lesley Pearse's book - Ellie. Despite having read the aforementioned book, it took me a good while to piece together that this was in fact the case...

AdvantagesStrong, likeable heroine. Great characterisation and attention to detail. Gripping.

DisadvantagesSubject matter is dark and shocking.

...of men who are often much older. Her experiences are not pretty and it's an uncomfortable read at times. Always at the back of Belle's mind is the hope that she can ultimately get together enough money to return home but there are so many twists and turns along the way and it's not nearly as easy as she had originally hoped. As is typical of Lesley Pearse's heroines, Belle is a strong female...

...all, I enjoyed this book despite not really taking to the character of Laura. This is the first book by Lesley Pearse that I've read and it's made me want to seek out more of her work, especially as I've seen reviews of this book suggesting that this is actually one of her weaker offerings....
