Lettuce remove a layer of skin!

Advantages: colour and smell, and left my skin pretty nice
Disadvantages: scratchy harsh exfoliator bits, and having to use it so quickly

...*quite* such good value, and I'm sure if you worked it out... oh, let's not! Smaller pots are actually a good thing: these fresh products have very short shelf-lives (~3 weeks from production) and getting through the whole tub in that time can be quite tricky. More on this later! And finally for the background: the current offer is a free face mask, if you return five of the black pots. Me likes - perfect excuse to try out a whole range! Note also that it's not just the face masks that are in this offer, as my pot of Ocean Salt scrub also carries the sticker. That's two pots, then! Anyway, on to the product at hand, at long last! ...When I went to my favourite Lush shop in Carnaby Street, London, at the beginning of May, I was looking to buy one of their fab bio-fresh face masks. The Lush lady asked me what skin type I had (normal) and asked me for what reason did I want a face mask. I explained that I just wanted something to deep cleanse, as I didn't have any specific needs. The Lush lady directed me to two different face masks that she thought would be suitable for my skin type. One of them was Love Lettuce and I purchased a pot of it when I went back down to London at the end of May. Love Lettuce is described as a facial exfoliator and mask for normal to oily skin. After much deliberation I chose Love Lettuce purely because it had a lovely name and after reading it's description I thought it would be ideal. Bio-Fresh Face Masks are handmade with fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, seaweed, and yogurt. They also use essential oils, clay, mud, and ground almond shells. ...Lately I have been into two Slug and Lettuce. One in Cheltenham and the other in Banbury. There are nearly 100 slug and lettuce pubs though. The slug and lettuce have been around since 1985 when Hugh Corbett wanted to create a bar where wine and good food were as important as beer and known as Gastro pubs. On nearing the pub you will first see some seats outside. Entering you will find spacously spread out seating suitable for couples, 4s and multi parties which is nice as you can go in a big party of you and all sit at the same table. ...Whilst in Dublin at the weekend, my friends and I searched and searched until we found a Lush shop. A member of the sales team accosted us as soon as we entered the store, but not in a pushy way. She was promoting the Love lettuce facemask. The name itself made me chuckle, and I found myself losing attention as she was captivating my friend?s attention about what this facemask could do. The main factor being it?s a fresh face mask and we were due to fly home the following day so there was no way we could store the product in a fridge as the product required. After long deliberations, I was convinced to buy a tub between the four of us, and we were going to use it the same day before hitting the town.
