Advantages: Large range of cheap smart clothes

...Burtons is just the sort of place I always seem to end up in when I go shopping. Its not that I really buy that much stuff there (I'm a bit scruffy most of the time), but just being there is something you have to do. The shop has a very classy image when compared to others in the high street. They sell some real quality clothes at some very reasonable prices. If I was to be buying anything at all smart, I'd always head straight for Burtons. I bought a suit there this year, and the staff were very helpful. After just a second of looking through their stock, a woman approached me to see if she could help. I obviously did need a bit of help because I hadn't needed a nice suit before. Burtons Clothes Store

Advantages: Good selections

...Since fashion became something to be more conscious about for me, (few years ago) I thought it would be a good idea to make sure I knew what the different Men’s stores around my local area were like. Burtons is quite an established store, for men only, (although my mum does go in when she's looking for my Christmas presents etc) and does offer quite a good range in the latest fashions. It has a good selection of Jeans, both its own brand, and other brands like Wrangler. The casual wear continues with T-shirts and jumpers, all quite suitable for the young men of today to wear out on the streets. Burtons also has a good selection of clothes for going out in. The selection of shirts is good, quite a wide range from the near-Hawaiian shirts for the summer, to the long sleeved cotton shirts. The smart trousers aren't of the best...

...A great shop for men. Great value, great quality, good range, friendly staff. That just about sums up my opinion of the Burtons Mensware shops in the UK. Now I've got to try and pad this thing out to make 90 words. Joking aside I have honestly given my opinion in the first sentence, but what leads me to this conclusion? I have shopped at Burtons both man and boy and have always been very pleased with their products. On the rare ocassion I have had to return anything the staff have bent over backwards to help and replaced or refunded without question. I have always found what I have been looking for and paid a reasonable price. Sale time is always good too and there are some excellent bargains to be found. I have also used their hire facility to hire out dinner suits and found this service to also be excellent in both cost...

Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. LOOKS the graphics looks sick (REALLY REALLY GOOD) THE BOARD ITS SELF the board is well suited to all stages of rider (ie experience wise) beginner to expert. the edges are reallly mellow so begginers will not catch edges easily also the more experienced will not catch edges doing rails (which really hurts!!!) the board is also very flexible so if you land wrong doing a trick you have a better chance of staying upright. TYPES OF TERRAIN the board is more suited to park/freestyle riding and also good for powder as it is flexible. you can use it on normal runs but it is not very effective as you slide round corners rather than carve due to the mellow edges! ...get for our 99p? Well, apparently its a 'Delicious Mallow Biscuit with a Chocolate Flavoured Coating'. Immediately three words jump out at me, 'Chocolate Flavoured Coating' Oh I dear, I suppose there's no real chocolate in it, does it really cost manufacturers that much to put a real bit of chocolate in it? Oh no, I tell a lie, its got Reduced Fat Cocoa Powder, but its seventh on the ingredients list. Not looking favourable so far. Well, I guess we've got to get down to the 'nitty-gritty' and eat it. I hate that term, hopefully it hasn't got nits or grit in it. Sorry, just being pedantic. You know, I'm sure these are much smaller than they used to be. I remember my mum always put one in my lunch box for school trips and I remember them being ginormous. Isn't this always the way? Obviously, Burton's the manufacturer couldn't resist...
