A level playing field?
Advantages: One of their best tracks is included.
Disadvantages: Quite a bit of dross.
...Levellers, The Levellers.
This was the Levellers third album. The Levellers, by the time this had been released, had been a band for nearly five years, though their original vocalist left after album number 1, they were certainly getting well known outside of the punky/celtic/festival scene that was their origins. I certainly remember seeing them in London in 1990 and they had built up quite a following of students, squatters and festival goers.
This album for me marked a bit of a change in direction and, in my opinion is not as good as the first album 'A Weapon called the Word', or the 2nd album, 'Levelling the Land'. It is almost like they have got better and more polished, yet lost something along the way. That being said, there are some cracking tracks as I will divulge shortly.

Some Next Level Tunes
Advantages: A couple of their best songs
Disadvantages: A couple of tunes aren't as big as the rest
...?Another Level? came out in 1996, and was the seond, and most successful album from BLACKstreet. The group at this time consisted of Teddy Riley, Chauncey Hannibal, Dave Hollister, and Mark Middelton. Riley had moved on to creating this awesome four piece after the break-up of his New Jack Swing trio, Guy, and here he continues to take the same role in that one as he did before as he makes the Hip Hop-influenced beats for them.
1. ?Black & Street? (Intro)
2. ?This Is How We Roll?
To get things going, we have them warming the album up in a genlte way as they come up with a tune which has them coming with a soft-sounding one to just work your way into the album with a smooth R&B tune to have you in the right mood for what you are about to expirience.
**Five Stars**
3. ?No Diggity?
This is perhaps the most well know single from...

A welcome return of Level 42!
Advantages: Very catchy, great to hear from them again
Disadvantages: May be too much of the same thing for some people
.../ Vocals
Gary Husband - Drums
Nathan King - Guitars / Vocals
Mike Lindup - EVP88 / Vocals
Lyndon Connah - Keyboards
Sean Freeman - Saxophones
Boon Gould - Guitar solo on 'Ship'
~~ Tracks ~~
The band's music was originally known as jazz fusion, but over the years they have veered more towards a pop/funk kind of style. Level 42 have always been known for their talent and high quality musicianship, and this album is no exception.
1. Dive Into The Sun (3.57)
When I first put this album on, I had mixed feelings. This was because as the first track started, it didn't sound like them at all - until the song kicked in to full swing, and boy oh boy is this a good track! It's very powerful, pulled along by Mark's fantastic slap bass, great drumming and very tight harmonies. A great start to the album.

Break-up of the Level 42 Family
Advantages: Level 42 at their most commercially accessible.
Disadvantages: Level 42 at their most commercially accessible.
...INTRODUCTION
The effect that music has on a listener can be informed by many things, such as mood, emotional context, state of mind and ties to a person or place. The funky jazz band you listen to live on an evening out at Ronnie Scott?s just doesn?t sound the same when reproduced on CD and played in your living room. Similarly, if you?d never kissed your girl for the first time to the sax-imbued strains of ?Careless Whisper?, chances are the song would not mean as much to you. And so it was that Level 42?s ?Running in the Family? provided the soundtrack for an extraordinary experience that is now indelibly etched in my memory and forever linked with the album that accompanied it. In July 1987, still wet behind the ears, I set out with twenty other young Armenian-Americans from New York and New Jersey, on a two week tour of our...

Level 42 - World Machine - Good but not Great
Advantages: Some outstanding songs and first class musicianship
Disadvantages: Let down by some weak tracks
...INTRODUCTION
In a little over three weeks time, I am finally going to fulfil the lifelong and much delayed ambition of seeing Level 42 perform live - at the Hampton Court Music Festival. Sort of like ?The Sun? newspaper, which many people seem to read, but no one will admit to buying, Level 42 are one of those bands that people secretly like, but will deny allegiance to with the same haste and insistence with which St Peter denied Christ. I have never really understood this behaviour, as in my mind, Level 42 are one of the most ?complete? bands I have ever had the pleasure of following. By ?complete? I mean that they are excellent, innovative musicians and accomplished lyricists capable of putting together some fantastic songs. There are several of their albums I could have reviewed, but I have chosen World Machine because...

The Level
Advantages: An open air space to walk the dog, play football and chill out
Disadvantages: Not so safe at night, not the most scenic of places
...at the Level, such as Brighton Pride before it out grew the venue.
It is a place where many people go to practice various outdoors activities such as Capoera the Brazillian martial art, football, frisbee, running and even bongo playing.
If you find yourself at the level and what an impromptu picnic there is a small sainsburys nearby on London Road, or you can always pop into one of the many bars in the area to quench your thirst.
How to get there
There are many buses you can hop on to get to The Level including the No. 5 and No. 49. Just ask for a ticket to the Open Market which is just over the road from The Level. Fares are currently in the region of £1 per journey.

Choosing A level Subjects
Advantages: you can learn more about subjects which interest you and get good qualifications
Disadvantages: it is too easy to make the 'wrong' choice.
...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Choosing A level Subjects
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am now nearing the end of my A level courses and have recently found myself offering advice to young people who are at the stage of making A level course decisions and so it inspired me to write this review.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Choosing the college
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Where you live depends on how many colleges are feasibly accessible to you. My local college offers a wide range of courses so I was able to apply and then pick my courses, however it is a good idea to look at whether the college you are applying to is able to offer the courses you want to do and also to make sure you look at their facilities to ensure that they will be suitable for you to be successful in your subject. It is tempting to want to go to the same college as your...
Choosing A-Levels
Advantages: Necessary to make correct choices and should achieve the best results
Disadvantages: Incorrect choices could be disastrous
...~Introduction~
I am now in the second year (Year 13) of studying my A-levels and only have a few months study remaining. The four subjects that I chose to study were: Business Studies, Physical Education, Geography and General Studies. They have so far proved to be pretty justified choices, but making those initial decisions takes careful thought and a lot of consideration.
~Making the Choice~
There are a number of things that you should take into account when you are picking which A-level courses to take on. The order of importance of some of the points I am going to raise may differ from person to person, but they are all vital factors that you must consider.
~Enjoyment~
The most important thing, in my opinion, is that the majority of subjects that you choose are those that you enjoy and are good at. There is no...
World Of Warcraft Levels 1-20
Advantages: Easy to fit into timetable, Good Sequel to good series
Disadvantages: Slightly Repetitive, Not certain about 'Massively Multiplayer'
...blacksmith is having to make a whole lot of items that cannot be sold to anyone except an NPC vendor who gives me 20% of what it is worth, yet just has to grind through making these items to achieve a level at which he can make something that is worth something.
As for the multiplayer aspect, the amount of other players I generally see whilst playing the game, I begin to question even the 'multiplayer' description, let alone the 'massively'. The most players I have ever seen in one place so far has perhaps been 14 or 15, four of which were trying to sell me gold from one website or another.
The Round Up?
World Of WarCraft Level 1-20 is:
*A first person sequel to WarCraft III
*Good single player fun for the first ten levels
*Repetitive single player fun for the next ten levels
*Graphically pleasing
Making the best Choice: A Levels
Advantages: You can choose subjects according to your interests, you don't have to study any compulsary subjects like at GCSE, you can choose as many or as few subjects to study as you like
Disadvantages: Very easy top make the rong choice
...****Introduction to A Levels****
A levels are usually started straight after you have finished your GCSE's, although you can study for them at any age. You may be able to study for A Levels at your High School, if there is a Sixth Form Centre, or you can do your A Levels at Collage.
The minumum entry requirement for A Levels if you want to study at Sixth Form is usually 5 C's or above. The entry requirements at collage are usually much lower, so don't worry if you don't do as well as expected.
A Levels are taken over 2 years, the first year called AS Level(advanced subsidury, which is half an A Level) and the second year called A Level(advanced level, which is a full A Level)
The grades that you can achieve for A Levels range from A-U. You may find that you will also have free periods, this is time when you do not have lessons...
