...I've never owned a Lexmark, but I have seen the trails, poor printouts, and general effort that my housemate has gone to with his. He got it with his computer, and has recently had to upgrade to an Epson. What finally did it was the choice between paying out £30 for a new cartridge or buying a decent machine for £70. There is no excuse for Lexmark cartridge prices; and there is no excuse for Lexmark putting out official disinformation saying that the syringe refil kits are not compatible with their machines, because they are. These printers give out bad quality images and text, are expensive to maintain, and look and feel cheap and nasty - which is exactly what they are. Fortunately for them, their newer models are not quite so bad, but avoid this one like the plague.... Read review

...this printer the Lexmark Z22 is cheap and cheerful, the quailty is excellent, the storage space isn't alot., the colour quality is great, -------First Glance---------------------- my first glance was un-sure if this printer was up to the standard i was looking for, i thought it would be a printer, which would blur out some of the images, but it didnt and i was like 'yes great stuff lets get printing' --------Is it quality?------------------------ it is quality, prints out are excellent, but they do take some time to print out depending on the choice of colours, and how many different colours are used at once, the cartridges last along time,ive used at least 2 packs if a4 paper in at least 3 days and its still going, and although you may be thinking, isnt that due to the cartridge? well yes i know that is true, but i believe... ...This cartridge fits a variety of Lexmark printers. In general it is easy to fit - with the usual load and lock Lexmark carriage on your printer. Just take off the tape covering the print head insert the cartridge and lock into the carriage. Most printer software will detect this change and then ask you to go through the simple cartidge alignment procedure The cartridge produces quality output - colours are very good and realistic. depending on the printer you can get near photo quality prints from this cartidge It has a reasonable output in terms of number of pages it will create My only gripe is the cost of these cartridges - you need to consider refilling them as a cost effective way of prolonging their life. ...The Lexmark 1000 was my first printer may years ago and at the time I paid around £90. At the time this was the going rate for an average printer and I was very happy with the buy. The print quality from the machine is excellent and the software provided by Lexmark is very user-friendly. another good thing is that print quality doesn't reduce with the age of the printer. This is because, unlike other printer manufacturers, Lexmark cartridges actually contain the print head. This does however mean that the cartridges are very expensive compared with others - even compatible inks will break the bank. This was the reason that I eventually got rid of the printer. My new Epson does not have the benefit of a new print head every time I install a new cartridge, but it cartridges are the cheapest I have seen. I have also had the printer... Read review

...The Lexmark Z735 is a very basic printer and is very conventional looking in its square shape. The printer does not have the quality of some more advanced and more expensive printers but for the price you would pay for it, it is definately worth it. The Z735 is a n Ink Jet printer and the cost of the ink cartridges is very reasonable, i have this printer and an Epson CX3200 and i use the Lexmark one for printing out basic documents as it is quicker than than the Epson and also to reserve the ink in the Epson because of the rediculous prices for their cartridges. The printer has one thing that i like and that is the borderless printing, There are two control buttonson the printer, one to switch the printer on and off and the other to feed paper. The computer is linked to the printer via a USB 2.0 socket. The Lexmark Z735 is very easy... Read review

...I bought a lexmark Z615 about 6 months ago and was reasonably pleased with it to start off with, its a tidy little printer ideal for home use, its about 400mm in width by 210mm in depth and stands about 100mm in height. It prints around 8 pages per minute in colour format which means it is not the quickest printer around although the quality of printing is very high and it prints pictures and photos very well which is one of reasons I bought it. When I purchased this printer I asked roughly how long the printer cartridges would last, and was told that on average they should see you clear of around 2000 sheets of paper, unfortunatley if you do alot of printing you can over half this as mine averages around 600 sheets which makes this quite expensive as cartridges cost around £35 a time for colour and £25 for black and white although you... ...Well, I bought my lexmark printer from currrys, this printer's printing quality is excellent. When you compare with some other quality printers sometimes we will not be able to tell the difference of their quality. To setup this printer is quite easy, anyone can do it . This is printer is compatible with Windows 98/Me/2000/XP. The printing speed of this printer is a bit slow but still it worths. A small problem occurs with printer is the Ink cartridge. It is quite expensive. When you buy both colour and black we may not get it under £30. The printer's price fits in anyone's budget. Its under £ 30. This printer is nice printer with a good printing quality and fits in anyone's budget.... Read review

...We needed a good reliable printer for the kids schoolwork, so we went for the Lexmark Z51 at just under £150 it has proved to be a real bargain. It has coped well with printing loads of information of the internet for the kids school projects. The quality of the print on normal paper is excellent. On photo quality paper you find it hard to distinguish from the actual photo,it is that good. The main expense is going to be replacing the ink cartridges,at about £27 pounds a time for the colour cartridge,and about £18 for the black. Print speed is acceptable with no runs or smudges. Also it is one of the quietest printers i have used. It also has the benefit of being able to use the USB port. Overall it is a super printer which copes with everything we throw at it.... ...I recently bought this printer after seeing it demonstrated on TV. I have always used HP for printers so was a bit dubious about going over to Lexmark. It is great the quality is the best 1200 x 1200 dpi. It came with a piece of software with famous paintings on it and I printed one on glosspy paper and it is the best I have ever seen. The other great thing about it is that it is really fast. I print most documents in draft quality and it is easily as good as the Normal print on the HP870cxi. It does have an annoying voice accessory which tells you when printing is beginning and ending but you can, fortunately, turn it off. I am extremly pleased with this printer - well done Lexmark....
