Lexmark Z 31
Advantages: RESOLUTION, speed, ease of use, price
Disadvantages: no
...photos. I haven't bought a color photo cartridge yet, I've only printed with the regular color cartridge and I'm very pleased with the quality of my color photos.
The main differences between the Z31 and the Z51 are the speed which I mentioned earlier and also the Z51 is USB port compatible. The Z51 is compatible with not only Windows 3.1x, 95/98, and NT 4.0 (like the Z31) but also OS/2 and DOS through Windows. The Z51 has a 100 sheet input tray. They both have 25 sheet label or transparency capability. They both have a one year LexExpress next-business-day exchange warranty.
Lexmark sells the Z31 for $149 and the Z51 for $199. I bought mine from an online company which sells computers and printers for $138 and there is a $30 rebate that Lexmark is offering right now. The Z31 is a GREAT VALUE for the money!!!...

Lexmark Z31
Advantages: Great Quality
Disadvantages: None I can see
...This is the printer I use for all my general printing work, have both colour 12A1980 and black 12A1970 cartridges installed makes it a good all round printer and if you want more colour for photos etc replace the black cartridge with the 12A1990 photo colour cartridge this gives the colours more depth.
The 1200dpi x 1200dpi is among the highest on the market, the ink used in the 12A1970 black is better than other ink as it produces near laser quality and won't run like other ink itf you get it wet.
The driver software and user interface are both easy to install and use, the user interface show the amount of ink remaining in both cartridges.
The printer will print on anything up to 270gsm which is quite thick card and produces very good quality of normal 80gsm photocopier paper. The paperfeed is very smooth no jams to date...

Lexmark Z31 at Tescos, UK
Advantages: speed of setup, print quality
Disadvantages: none so far as I can see
...I bought a Lexmark Z31 at Tesco, Camberly UK on 14 Aug 2000 for £59.99, and was surprised at what I got for my money.
The printer, which included a printer cable despite the fact that the packaging said that it did not, installed without any fuss on a Windows 95 laptop system, and I was printing quite happily within 15 minutes of unpacking the box.
There is a setup procedure which allows very fine-tuning of the alignment of the print heads.
I was surprised at the high quality of the colour printing, but very alarmed at the cost of new ink cartridges as sold by Ryman in Victoria St, London. From recollection a pair of cartridges (black and colour) will cost me £55, only £5 less than the cost of the printer which of course included the first 2 cartridges. I was reassured to search on the Internet and find several cheaper options...

Lexmark must be making a huge profit!!!
Advantages: Available at a wide range of outlets
Disadvantages: Relatively expensive
...I have two Lexmark inkjet printers. One (Z605 model) is mine; the other (Z35) is on loan to me in connection with my degree course. Luckily, both printers use the same ink cartridges. These are:
Z16/Z17 - black
Z26/Z27 - colour
The same ink cartridges are compatible with a range of Lexmark inkjet printers, notably:
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z13, Z23e, Z25, Z25L, Z33, Z34
Lexmark Colour Jetprinters - Z515, other Z600 series
Lexmark All-In-Ones - X72, X74, X75, X1100 series
**** So, what about buying the Z16 cartridges? ****
They come in a nice, neat little pack. The Z16 code is prominently displayed, as is a full list of the compatible Lexmark printers. So, no need to remember the cartridge code if you have committed your printer model to memory.
**** What do they cost? ****
An arm and a leg!! No...

Review of Lexmark Cartridge No. 16 - print cartridge (10N0016)

The Cheap and cheerful ish Cartridge!
Advantages: Cheap, colour print is good, easy to insert
Disadvantages: Black comes out green! Runs out quickly VERY Quickly!
...Hello and welcome to this review!
My gosh those trial cartridges that come with your printer sure do run out quickly!
These cartridges are greatly priced, much cheaper than other brands such as HP!
However, there is one problem I have come accross when using the Lexmark 1 Cartridge. That being - When black is printed, it doesn't quite come out black!
Its more of a green colour.
I understand this is because colours are mixed inside the cartridge to make black but the best colour they can make must be green:(
I thought it may have been my printer however I bought a second and its exactly the same!
I would definately say for the price of this printer and cartridge range It is good for people doing everyday printing, however if you are printing invoices etc and require that crisp look Im afraid you will not get it...

lexmark ink goes beyond the pale
Advantages: quality, easy to use, exceeds suggested amout to print
Disadvantages: none
...I use lexmark cartridge No 2 for my printer, they are readily available in PC World £14.99 and other shops stock them too Such as Tesco, Argos, etc.
They come in a vibrant red box and has a large No 2 inside a rainbow ringed circle, with the Models it is suitable fo ( X2480 & X3480) clearly marked on the front of the box.
Lexmark states on the box that they are the Original replacement cartridge with a new intergrated Print head to give you sharp Crystal clear results over time.
They are very simple to fit into the printer just lift up the fixing cover and slot in to place and snap shut the holding lid, slide back in place in the printer. (dont forget to remove the sticky seal 1st).
The ink lasts for approx 120 print outs, you get more than this if printing mainly black and white, or slightly less if printing a lot...

Lexmark Z 1520
Advantages: cheap, good looks
Disadvantages: a bit big
...Lexmark Z 1520
Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality.
However one bad ting about them is that their ink is quite dear compared with other printer manufacturers. You can however shop around, buy cheaper ink compatibles or even refill your old cartridges if you want to save the odd quid or two.
The printer itself looks very cool and futuristic, its cool shiny white body and its black panels go well to give this printer a stylish edge against all its other competitors in the market today.
It is however quite long and does appear quite big in the flesh. I cant help thinking they could have saved a lot of space and I feel that they really could have made it smaller and more compact.
Also with this one, there’s the opportunity to do...

Lexmark is very reliable
Advantages: wifi, screen
Disadvantages: 2 separate ink cartridges
...I bought this product around 3 months ago, i have always had lexmark printers, and i really liked the design of this one. It is an all in one, so a printer, scanner and copier, and the price ranges from around £30-50 which i think is reasonably good value for money.
It takes two print cartridges, one black on colour, the numbers are 3 and 4 cartridges respectively, which are also fairly cheap. at between £13-18 depending on where you purchase them, I find the fact that it has separate cartridges for black and colour, better than those printers which just have one cartridge for both, as i personally use a lot more black than colour, so i only have to replace whichever one is needed as opposed to the whole cartridge, when there may still be colour ink left in it.
It has an extendable tray which you can pull out while it is printing...

Lexmark does it again!!!
Advantages: Everything you need in one complete package, excelent quality scans, copy, and prints!
Disadvantages: Abit on the slow side when printing, cartridge status bar can be very unrealible!
...this Lexmark X1180 to anyone wishing to purchase an all in one!!!!
The Lexmark X1180 retails for around the £50 mark!
Both cartridges retail for around the £15 mark1
Use one of the price comparison tools and I'm sure that you can get it cheaper still....

No!!... It's No.1
Advantages: can be bought from many shops, can be recycled, easy to use
Disadvantages: its rather expensive
...I have used Lexmark ink cartridge since we got our Lexmark x5200 printer at the beginning of last year which was compatible with the Lexmark cartridge No.33.
Lexmark No.33 is a colour ink cartridge which can be used by various Lexmark printers including series X3300, P900, X7100, X5200, P4300 etc.
The colour cartridge is made of three colours of course (yellow, cyan and magenta).
I've never really had problems with the cartridge at all; it is actually the printer which I had problems with as it died on us, which was rather a shame, Therefore we bought another brand printer, so no need of buying the Lexmark No.33.
However the cartridge is very easy to insert. You just open the small red box, and use a scissors to cut the thick silver plastic, were the cartridge is stored.
There is a little colourless strip which you got to...
