...The Samsung E250 is a bit of a let down to my other phone which broke and I have had a lot of phones but the reasons why it is a good phone are shown below along with a few bad points but every phone has bad points this one has an advantage to other phones. The fact that it is a slide phone mean that it is helpful for calls all you have to do is just have slide it up and the call is answered. The phone has good reception, which is good because the majority of phones have poor reception. If you want a phone the better the reception the better the phone actually is. The phones colour is great and has some depth to it. I have owned many phones and this one is the best by far for colour. The phone has a VGA camera which is ok for videos and pictures the effects that the edit section has are brilliant it allows you to add clipart, frames...

It has the following features: Intergrated VGA camera - really good quality compared with my last phone (Siemens cl75) Record and playback video clips - again good quality Bluetooth Mp3 playback - Can download songs and store in a music file and listen to or set as a ringtone Polyphonic and MP3 ringtones - I have set a mp3 tume downloaded from samsung website and again fantastic quality no crackling and not tinny built in FM radio - just plug in supplied earphones and off you go! stunning 64k colour screen - fantastic! ...The samsung E250 is a good phone The price has fallen when i bought it it was £55 and now it is 39.99 which annoys me quite a lot the features are good it contains a vga camera , bluethooth , video camera, mp3,micro sd slot and a bright coloured screen in its price range under £50 it is the best phone out there it has stylish looks and is very slim . The memory is quite limited so if you listen t music i recommend you get a 1 gb memory card which is about £15 the softwareis not included in the box so yiu might have to buy it i recomend downloading it from the internet Positives it is easy to use has loads of features . negatives not the best camera but still useable and you cant really get better for its price . It is a good phone and i recommend you buy it...

Decent Samsung E250

Advantages: Bluetooth, Practical, External memory, MP3 capable, Excellent multimedia services.
Disadvantages: Fragile, Shortlife battery, Not 3G capable, complicated menu.

...The Samsung E250 is a great cell phone despite its mentionable flaws and critical points with an overall rating that will suit the need of the mass community and will reach your expectations. First of all, SME250 is based GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 terminal, a 2G (EDGE, so it's a 2.75G ) unfortunately not a 3G, so you can't make video conference phone call. But, that's a not big loss comparing the big range of features. The clamshell (comes in different colors, black, silver, pink) design is very slick and lovable. A dimension of 99.5 x 49.5 x 14.1 mm, weighing 80g makes the phone very light (you won't feel in your pocket or purse (for the ladies ;)) and very fragile piece of equipment as well. I've heard several complaints about the design regarding the keypad and the screen display, possibility getting damage in short term of usage...

Samsung SGH-E250 mobile

Advantages: Slim, Light, Good battery life, Bluetooth, FM radio, Email
Disadvantages: None as yet

.... My 17 year old has got the new 900, but actually prefers the 250 if the truth be known. The 900 doesn't have FM radio and cost over £80 more. The 250 was £60 from Vodafone, the £8 refund went towards the car charger. We didn't need to top it up for this price, could have got it for £50 from Phones4U, but they wanted £10 top-up. Not necessary as she put her old SIM in the new phone. Just need to swap numbers between SIMS to enable Internet/Email as it isn't on the old SIM. The battery life is very good, but haven't had it long enough to check that. It also has Bluetooth, which enabled us to get some Photos and comic videos of the boy's phones. It can also send emails - but haven't managed to sort out receiving them yet. All in all this is a very good value phone. In fact I may get one myself..........

Disadvantages: Non-trivial, but not impossible, network installation under Windows XP

This was at first a major problem for me, as Lexmark consumables are notoriously expensive. However, after reading up on it a bit, I find that Lexmark offer a 'Returns Program' toner, which is priced at a reasonable level, with the condition that the toner be sent back to them after use, presumably to compete with the likes of Cartridge World. As I have mentioned, the main requirement for me was that the printer supported Linux, and this one does. It also supports: - Windows 98SE,ME,2000,XP,XP64,Server 2003 - Mac OS 9,10.2,10.3,10.4 - Linux (as mentioned) The system requirements vary between systems, but are not unreasonable.
