lexmark ink goes beyond the pale

...I use lexmark cartridge No 2 for my printer, they are readily available in PC World £14.99 and other shops stock them too Such as Tesco, Argos, etc. They come in a vibrant red box and has a large No 2 inside a rainbow ringed circle, with the Models it is suitable fo ( X2480 & X3480) clearly marked on the front of the box. Lexmark states on the box that they are the Original replacement cartridge with a new intergrated Print head to give you sharp Crystal clear results over time. They are very simple to fit into the printer just lift up the fixing cover and slot in to place and snap shut the holding lid, slide back in place in the printer. (dont forget to remove the sticky seal 1st). The ink lasts for approx 120 print outs, you get more than this if printing mainly black and white, or slightly less if printing a lot...

THINK INK!

Advantages: Easily obtainable, good value, recyclable.
Disadvantages: Really just the idea of it not being a genuine new original!

...MY HISTORY WITH INK CARTRIDGES: From the time I bought my first printer, I have really had nothing but problems when it has come to keeping them supplied with ink! The brand named cartridges generally contain less ink for your money and so they need either need replacing more frequently, or you pay considerably more. My first printer, an Epson, was bought along with bottles of refill ink and a syringe to inject each colour into the colour cartridge, and a bottle of black for the other one. The salesman in PC World assured me it was easy? well it was the first time, apart from the mess! then the second time I just flooded the printer, and I had to buy new cartridges. My second printer a Lexmark, had the same thing happen and I eventually scrapped it! Now I have a HP PSE 1317 inkjet 3 in 1, and I love it, but the ink cartridges...

Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at

...Miami Ink, if you haven't heard about it already, is a TV show about a tattoo parlour in Miami (if you hadn't already guessed!). The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. Each show lasts about an hour long, and during that time we see a variety of clients enter the studio to get their tattoos. The guys who run/work in the studio are all fairly young, heavily tattooed and have been through different walks of life. Most of them have spent their lives tattooing, so working in the shop you can tell means a lot to them. Each artist has a different personality...

love a lexmark

Advantages: cheap and does all the basics very well.

...Being that we have 2 pc`s at home and up till recently only one printer, we thought it time to get another printer for upstairs. as i mainly use the downstairs pc there was no need for anything fancy just something to print of a few pages or documents when required. The epson R300 is the printer i use downsatirs and this lexmark comes no where near being able to compete with it, as i use the epson for disc printing photo printing and all sorts which this lexmark just doesnt do. That aside as i said it was only a second printer fo light work i was looking for and this printer can easily take on that task, its very user friendly and fairly fast. It produces very clear print and images even when the ink is running very low which is one thing the epson wont do! Low ink in the epson leads to inferior printing. not so with this...

..., and for a price of just £2 per cartridge there really isn’t any need for sparing prints anyway. Even if you haven’t got a printer that’s compatible with brother ink then I would strongly advise getting a brother printer the next time you need to buy a new printer. The main reason being that it will save you about £20 every time you buy a new pack of ink cartridges compares to cartridges like Lexmark’s and Hp’s and even Epson ink is really expensive compared to the like of brothers....

Lexmark Z32 ink jet printer

...After plodding along for 4 1/2 years with a old olivetti JP 170s I treated myself to a Lexmark Z32 ink jet printer. It was like trading in a banger for a Rolls Royce. The Lexmark Z32 was easy to install via manufactures cd rom and run very quietly indeed. It cost me £119 via mail order. It will print 8 pages of text per minute at 600dpi and although colour takes a bit longer the quality is excellent. I print off alot of pictures from the net for my wife and when using glossy paper at 1200dpi the finished product is equal to the real thing. So good we have framed several. The paper storage will hold up to 100 sheets depending on thickness. The instruction manual was set out very simply with all of the instructions very easy to follow. The cartridges are a bit pricy at around £25 BUT after searching the net I found compatable...

...Its possible these days to get printers that are really cheap, cheaper infact than the ink that goes in them itself. And this is another one like that. So here is a fantastic printer, made by Lexmark, who make and specialise in designing and making quality printers. Its does a lot of things and even has some capabilities built it that for a printer coming in at just £35 you totally wouldn’t expect. The printer is cheaper than some of their usual models, and it perhaps doesn’t look quite as good. There’s no glossy white or black finish like on their more stylish models and it does appear quick big and bulky. I think that they could have probably cut down a bit on the size as some appears just as waste. The buttons or rather lack of buttons on this printer could be looked at as a bad thing. ...Lexmark Z 1520 Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality. However one bad ting about them is that their ink is quite dear compared with other printer manufacturers. You can however shop around, buy cheaper ink compatibles or even refill your old cartridges if you want to save the odd quid or two. The printer itself looks very cool and futuristic, its cool shiny white body and its black panels go well to give this printer a stylish edge against all its other competitors in the market today.
