lexmark ink goes beyond the pale

...I use lexmark cartridge No 2 for my printer, they are readily available in PC World £14.99 and other shops stock them too Such as Tesco, Argos, etc. They come in a vibrant red box and has a large No 2 inside a rainbow ringed circle, with the Models it is suitable fo ( X2480 & X3480) clearly marked on the front of the box. Lexmark states on the box that they are the Original replacement cartridge with a new intergrated Print head to give you sharp Crystal clear results over time. They are very simple to fit into the printer just lift up the fixing cover and slot in to place and snap shut the holding lid, slide back in place in the printer. (dont forget to remove the sticky seal 1st). The ink lasts for approx 120 print outs, you get more than this if printing mainly black and white, or slightly less if printing a lot...

THINK INK!

Advantages: Easily obtainable, good value, recyclable.
Disadvantages: Really just the idea of it not being a genuine new original!

...MY HISTORY WITH INK CARTRIDGES: From the time I bought my first printer, I have really had nothing but problems when it has come to keeping them supplied with ink! The brand named cartridges generally contain less ink for your money and so they need either need replacing more frequently, or you pay considerably more. My first printer, an Epson, was bought along with bottles of refill ink and a syringe to inject each colour into the colour cartridge, and a bottle of black for the other one. The salesman in PC World assured me it was easy? well it was the first time, apart from the mess! then the second time I just flooded the printer, and I had to buy new cartridges. My second printer a Lexmark, had the same thing happen and I eventually scrapped it! Now I have a HP PSE 1317 inkjet 3 in 1, and I love it, but the ink cartridges...

Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at

...Miami Ink, if you haven't heard about it already, is a TV show about a tattoo parlour in Miami (if you hadn't already guessed!). The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. Each show lasts about an hour long, and during that time we see a variety of clients enter the studio to get their tattoos. The guys who run/work in the studio are all fairly young, heavily tattooed and have been through different walks of life. Most of them have spent their lives tattooing, so working in the shop you can tell means a lot to them. Each artist has a different personality...

...The Lexmark X4650 is a superb all in one printer. Setting it up was easy and connecting it to my wireless network was no hassle. The included CD basically is a step by step guide in to setting the product up and makes for a no-fuss setup. Scanning is excellent as when scanning documents, the included software recognizes text and you can edit your document. Also copying is simple, just pop the paper above the scanner and watch it print out. The photo printing options are limited to a few options such as either; print all, print last photo taken, date range (per month) or photo number. Another thing that may let the printer down is ink cartridge prices as these can become pricey. love a lexmark

Advantages: cheap and does all the basics very well.
Disadvantages: no frills!

...Being that we have 2 pc`s at home and up till recently only one printer, we thought it time to get another printer for upstairs. as i mainly use the downstairs pc there was no need for anything fancy just something to print of a few pages or documents when required. The epson R300 is the printer i use downsatirs and this lexmark comes no where near being able to compete with it, as i use the epson for disc printing photo printing and all sorts which this lexmark just doesnt do. That aside as i said it was only a second printer fo light work i was looking for and this printer can easily take on that task, its very user friendly and fairly fast. It produces very clear print and images even when the ink is running very low which is one thing the epson wont do! Low ink in the epson leads to inferior printing. not so with this...

...Its possible these days to get printers that are really cheap, cheaper infact than the ink that goes in them itself. And this is another one like that. So here is a fantastic printer, made by Lexmark, who make and specialise in designing and making quality printers. Its does a lot of things and even has some capabilities built it that for a printer coming in at just £35 you totally wouldn’t expect. The printer is cheaper than some of their usual models, and it perhaps doesn’t look quite as good. There’s no glossy white or black finish like on their more stylish models and it does appear quick big and bulky. I think that they could have probably cut down a bit on the size as some appears just as waste. The buttons or rather lack of buttons on this printer could be looked at as a bad thing. ...Lexmark Z 1520 Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality. However one bad ting about them is that their ink is quite dear compared with other printer manufacturers. You can however shop around, buy cheaper ink compatibles or even refill your old cartridges if you want to save the odd quid or two. The printer itself looks very cool and futuristic, its cool shiny white body and its black panels go well to give this printer a stylish edge against all its other competitors in the market today. Lexmark does it again!!!

Advantages: Everything you need in one complete package, excelent quality scans, copy, and prints!
Disadvantages: Abit on the slow side when printing, cartridge status bar can be very unrealible!

...When the time came to send my Lexmark printer to the knackers' yard, I thought that an all in one machine would be the most economical choice! Since being happy for a number of years with my Lexmark printer I had know hesitation in purchasing another product from them! The reason I went for the X1180 model was it was the cheapest at the time and most importantly looked uncomplicated to use! Design When it arrived and I took it out of the box I was mildly pleased with the size (not as bulky as I thought it would be) but saying that it has a height of 16.3 cm and a depth of 30.8 cm which unless you've got a lot of space, which luckily I have, then it may not be practical for people with limited space.
