Lexmark Z 1520
Advantages: cheap, good looks
Disadvantages: a bit big
...Lexmark Z 1520
Lexmark are a company that have been designing and making printers for a while now, so firstly you know that they are great quality.
However one bad ting about them is that their ink is quite dear compared with other printer manufacturers. You can however shop around, buy cheaper ink compatibles or even refill your old cartridges if you want to save the odd quid or two.
The printer itself looks very cool and futuristic, its cool shiny white body and its black panels go well to give this printer a stylish edge against all its other competitors in the market today.
It is however quite long and does appear quite big in the flesh. I cant help thinking they could have saved a lot of space and I feel that they really could have made it smaller and more compact.
Also with this one, there’s the opportunity to do...

Lexmark Z735
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Very Basic
...The Lexmark Z735 is a very basic printer and is very conventional looking in its square shape. The printer does not have the quality of some more advanced and more expensive printers but for the price you would pay for it, it is definately worth it. The Z735 is a n Ink Jet printer and the cost of the ink cartridges is very reasonable, i have this printer and an Epson CX3200 and i use the Lexmark one for printing out basic documents as it is quicker than than the Epson and also to reserve the ink in the Epson because of the rediculous prices for their cartridges. The printer has one thing that i like and that is the borderless printing, There are two control buttonson the printer, one to switch the printer on and off and the other to feed paper. The computer is linked to the printer via a USB 2.0 socket. The Lexmark Z735 is very easy to...

Lexmark Z25 - sprinter printer
Advantages: Small, fast and cheap
Disadvantages: Doesn't come with a USB cable
...Lexmark Z25L
I recently resigned from my job in a multi-national company to take up a position in a local franchise with only a few staff members. What does this have to do with writing an op about a printer? Simply that, once I had resigned, it occurred to me that I would no longer be able to use company printers and paper to print off my personal letters. Let?s be honest, in an office of 50 or so people, you can get away with printing personal bits and pieces, but in an office of 3 or 4, it may be frowned upon. With that in mind I went wallet-in-pocket to PC World to pick myself up a basic printer for home use.
Seeing as I very rarely write anything worth printing (no comments please!), I decided that I would go for something cheap and cheerful, and to be honest I had a basic HP model in mind, and expected to pay around £50...

Lexmark Z515
Advantages: Small, Cheap.
Disadvantages: no black cartridge, No usb cable.
...I bought this printer a few weeks ago because I needed to have a working colour printer of any description fast, just to get a few thing?s important printed, and I thought for the price of a new colour cartridge for my existing printer (£32.95) I might as well get myself a brand new printer from somewhere, for about the same price (just like I did last time the ink ran out) because a new printer tends to come with new cartridges. So you kill 2 birds with the same stone so to speak.
Anyhow back to the printer.
I settled on the Lexmark Z515 at £29.99 at Argos it was perfectly priced.
Down side #1
Unfortunately it doesn?t come with the USB cable needed to link it to the pc. Which wasn?t a problem to me, as my old printer ran from USB anyway. But for others looking to do the same as me, because their ink is low. Check your old lead to...

love a lexmark
Advantages: cheap and does all the basics very well.
Disadvantages: no frills!
...Being that we have 2 pc`s at home and up till recently only one printer, we thought it time to get another printer for upstairs.
as i mainly use the downstairs pc there was no need for anything fancy just something to print of a few pages or documents when required.
The epson R300 is the printer i use downsatirs and this lexmark comes no where near being able to compete with it, as i use the epson for disc printing photo printing and all sorts which this lexmark just doesnt do.
That aside as i said it was only a second printer fo light work i was looking for and this printer can easily take on that task, its very user friendly and fairly fast. It produces very clear print and images even when the ink is running very low which is one thing the epson wont do! Low ink in the epson leads to inferior printing. not so with this...

Lexmark Z601 - handy companion
Advantages: Cheap, easy to use and reliable.
Disadvantages: Ink cartridges can be costly at times; USB cable has to be purchased seperately (usually)
...the Quick print option and am very satisfied as the quality is very acceptable.
The printer specifications display the following:
2400 x 1200 dpi
10 pages per minute in black
8 pages per minute in colour
It should be noted that these speeds are only achieved if you print using the Normal print mode.
It also depends on the detail level of your document. If your document has a lot of detail (like graphics, graphs, tables etc), it will require more of your computer?s memory (RAM) and if your computer doesn?t have the extra resources, printing will be a long process.
The following is a guide to your minimum system requirements for using the Lexmark Z601 printer: -
Windows 98/Me, P II 233 MHz, 64MB(RAM), 250MB (disk space)
Windows 2000, P II 233 MHz,128MB(RAM), 286MB (disk space)
Windows XP, Pentium 300MHz, 128MB(RAM), 300MB...

The Lexmark Z735 or X2350...
Advantages: 3 in one- Print, Scan, Copy- Also the smallest all in one on the market.
Disadvantages: Availability of cheap cartridges isn't brilliant and didn't come with USB Printer Cable.
...Here i have reviewed the X2350, which holds simularities to the Z735, but is by no means identical- it needed to be reviewed because is in my opinion much better- but is not available to review under its own category!- Sorry
I have only just purchased this item, but had to review it just because there are a few niggly little things that i want to put out there to other perspective buyers before you purchase. Now this might not affect your decision. I just wanted to make you as best inform as possible.
The first thing i wanted to mention about the computer is that it is selling off quite cheaply online at Dixons and Currys and i know that PC World were also doing it for that price until the 4th Oct- so if your quick you might save yourself £20- because everywhere else i have seen it advertised it has been around £59.99.
Now i...

My experience on Lexmark Z 640
Advantages: Cheap, Light Weight, excellent printing quality..
Disadvantages: None
...Well, I bought my lexmark printer from currrys, this printer's printing quality is excellent. When you compare with some other quality printers sometimes we will not be able to tell the difference of their quality.
To setup this printer is quite easy, anyone can do it . This is printer is compatible with Windows 98/Me/2000/XP.
The printing speed of this printer is a bit slow but still it worths.
A small problem occurs with printer is the Ink cartridge. It is quite expensive. When you buy both colour and black we may not get it under £30.
The printer's price fits in anyone's budget. Its under £ 30.
This printer is nice printer with a good printing quality and fits in anyone's budget....

Lexmark Z1380 - Hillier Associates
Advantages: Cheap and can be bought on the High Street
Disadvantages: Unreliable, no USB cable provided, slow driver software
...Just bought one via Currys. Great bargain as reduced to about £39 (inc VAT) but didn't work.
It would not print out full A4 portrait pages despite the settings being correct. It would print only the top 4 inches or so. It does come with a colour cartridge (don't know if it is full) so you can start printing straight away. BUT it does NOT come with the necessary printer to USB cable. This costs around £15 I think so added 40% to the price!
On loading the software, despite ticking the "no toolbar" option it proceeded to install Lexmark toolbar on Internet Explorer. Then made Internet Explorer unstable causing it to crash when you closed a tab. Power on/off button not even reliable. Serial number on box didn't match that when doing full printer diagnostic.
A personal preference this, but did not like the driver software...

leXmarks the Spot
Advantages: Represents real value for money. Good resolution (up to 1200dpi)Colour & mono printing. Good support and manual
Disadvantages: None
...If you are looking for a real Value For Money printer, then you cannot go wrong with this offering from Lexmark. The Z22 Colour JetPrinter is an inexpensive, yet feature packed printer. I picked mine up in the USA for just $49.99, that's around £36 in English money.
Having just moved out to the USA and money being a bit tight at first, this printer offered me just what I needed, excellent quality at an affordable price. This is certainly the cheapest printer I have seen but that does not mean it is lacking in quality. This is one case where the saying "You get what you Paid for" does not apply.
Weighing in at a respectable 8lb, stone in colour and compact in size, this is a very aesthetically pleasing printer.
Photographs print beautifully and if printed on photo paper, you arehard pressed to tell the difference between...
