LG KF300: Fab if you want A basic phone with large Keys and font.

Advantages: deceent battery life, great in doing the basics, simple to use, great range of font sizes.
Disadvantages: Lacks Wi-Fi & GPS, Disappointing camera. inconveniently placed MicroSD slot!

...I decided to treat myself to a brand new pay as you go mobile phone and I knew what I wanted and I knew that it was going to be on the orange network. The phone I am talking about is LG Viewty. ...I got this phone yesterday morning and I decided to wait a bit before writing a review. I've been attached to this phone for the past 36 hours and I've sussed most things out. I got this phone after reading reviews on here and other mobile sites. The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. ...The LG Viewty - Looks like an iphone but think again! Unlike its prettier counterpart the Viewty is primarily a multi-functional phone with decent video/ camera and high speed internet (HSDPA) capabilities. One up for the underdog then. Having owned one for a while now here is an honest rundown - its not all good I'm afraid. The pro's: Desirable design - Well made, quality use of materials. Nice touch screen, the qwerty keyboard arrangement is great for texting. The camera is good (5mp) and the video has a slo-mo feature that is unique as far as I'm aware. You can also upload straight to You-tube although like many I suspect? never did! The Viewty comes with 2Gb with capacity for 4 max. ...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now. Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun. Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network. Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously. Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu...

...The LG KU990 was my second phone. I bought my phone for a good price of £136.00 and have not regretted it since. It;'s sleek design and easily usable features are what makes the phone a great phone, it's great 5mp camera with a stabilizer make it great for taking pictures on the go. It's movie making features also make the phone fun so even when your bored you can play about with this app and have hours of enjoyment! The phones chunkiness and very sensitive touch screen make the phone quite hard to use even though the phone comes with a stylus it scratches the screen when you try to open an app. The phone itself is a great buy definitely value for money!! :) Great purchase i would definitely recommend it...

...This is my first lg phone and im very pleased to say its excellent! My worry about this phone was the touch pad but its very accurate and you get used to it fairly fast. You can make it easier by activating the vibration when you touch the keys as well which helps whilst texting. The only bad thing i would say about the phone is its battery life. I have to charge it every day and sometimes it only just makes it through but then again i do use it alot. The best thing about the phone has definately got to be the camera quality. its amazing for a phone and the video is the best i have ever seen a camera phone produce. I have put the videos and pictures on my p.c and they are very clear especially the video. there isnt much distortion at all. overall i think this is proberly the best phone on the market at this current time and would choose...

...The LG Viewty was the first touchscreen mobile phone to arrive on the market and it has set the way for the rest. It is very stylist and hardwearing. The 5 megapixel camera is fabulous and has made my usual digital camera redundent. I would recommend getting a contract with a good mobile internet package as the phone is excellent for looking at web pages. And has come in usefull on many trips to the pub quiz! Some downsides of the phone is whilst using it as an MP3 player it takes a while to scroll through the list of artists and the battery life is quite short, especially because the phone is so good you play with it alot! I would recommend this phone to anyone, and have already, 3 of my friends now have this phone too!...
