...The LG Viewty - Looks like an iphone but think again! Unlike its prettier counterpart the Viewty is primarily a multi-functional phone with decent video/ camera and high speed internet (HSDPA) capabilities. One up for the underdog then. Having owned one for a while now here is an honest rundown - its not all good I'm afraid. The pro's: Desirable design - Well made, quality use of materials. Nice touch screen, the qwerty keyboard arrangement is great for texting. The camera is good (5mp) and the video has a slo-mo feature that is unique as far as I'm aware. You can also upload straight to You-tube although like many I suspect? never did! The Viewty comes with 2Gb with capacity for 4 max. ...I got this phone yesterday morning and I decided to wait a bit before writing a review. I've been attached to this phone for the past 36 hours and I've sussed most things out. I got this phone after reading reviews on here and other mobile sites. The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. Advantages: practicality, great picture quality, sound quality, range of ports at the rear
Disadvantages: only one hdmi port which isnt enough nowadays

...for great performance buy this tv. for alot of reasons: its reliable has great specifications capable of full hd performance great for HD gaming great for use as a PC monitor great sound quality simplicity on menu's and set up this tv is compact which is great for bedrooms, my son has one and uses it for his ps3. and pc. it saves space as you wouldnt need to have more than one screen for differant uses. in my opinion this i one of the best 19" tv's on the market today, not only because it has a reasonable price, it is also made by LG which is a recognised brand for practicality and reliablility. i would buy another one of these in an instant for any other room in my house....

...Well then, here i am writing my personal review of the LG KU990, better known as the LG viewty. I purchased my LG KU990 last August with o2 on pay as you go. Great i thought, this phone is EVERYTHING i could ever wish for, great spec. camera, music player, funky looks and design. The packaging of the Viewty is all very cleverly put together and has a reassuring quality about it, from the way the outer sleeve hides the small but perfectly formed box, which, ok call me sad, i found a joy to open. Upon opening the box, and seeing the pop-up near life size version of the Viewty, one is again met with the reassuring air of 'oh this is a quality product', and to be fair, on the whole i think that it is. Contained in the box is all the usual assortment of items you would expect to come with a phone these days, charger, headphones...

...THE LG KU990 (Viewty) iPhone looks, with less $$$ We have just purchased this phone, My Girlfriend is a bit of a trend setter, and so went into Phones4U to collect this piece of pure genius. The box is imprinted with the date it was made (20 Oct 2007), so in our grubby little hands fast. The first thing you notice when you open the box, is the 'pop-up' style opening, which allows you to see two pictures of the phone. One as a phone, one as a camera. When you pull the phone out of the box, it looks like a camera with phone feature... which is amazing in itself! In the Box: Phone LG KU990 Battery Sub boxes - Charger, USB cable, earphones, stylus pen, screen protector and instructions. The inclusion of a screen protector is a brilliant idea, although it is a bit fidgety to attatch (i have big chubby Scottish fingers...

Disadvantages: Clumsy, hard to see in sunlight, annoying touch screen

...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now. Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun. Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network. Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously. Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu...

...The LG KU990 was my second phone. I bought my phone for a good price of £136.00 and have not regretted it since. It;'s sleek design and easily usable features are what makes the phone a great phone, it's great 5mp camera with a stabilizer make it great for taking pictures on the go. It's movie making features also make the phone fun so even when your bored you can play about with this app and have hours of enjoyment! The phones chunkiness and very sensitive touch screen make the phone quite hard to use even though the phone comes with a stylus it scratches the screen when you try to open an app. The phone itself is a great buy definitely value for money!! :) Great purchase i would definitely recommend it...
