...The LG Cookie is a very good looking, and slim, touch screen phone. It has a TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colours which is 240 x 400 pixels, 3.0 inches. The phone cool things that come with it such as Accelerometer sensor for auto screen rotating (Like the iPhone or iPod Touch). Handwriting recognition for messaging. The phone uses a MicroSD memory card, i use a 2GB card to store all my games i downloaded. The phone comes with 4 Games but alot more can be downloaded. Ive been using this cell phone since Christmas and i have encountered some slight problems such as my version reboots my settings after so many times of switching the phone on. This problem along with a few more like the Alarms not ringing have been solved with the upgraded version, sadly i cant find a simple way to download and transfer this new version to my phone...

The LG Cookie KP500 is a good quality, touchscreen mobile

Advantages: Very good value for money, good build quality, good touchscreen, decent (3mp) camera
Disadvantages: Battery life (and meter) is not very good, camera does not have flash, limited games and apps

...I have had this mobile for about 7 months so far. It has been (one of the) best mobiles I have bought. It was very good value for money and the build quality is very good (although for some reason the pink version is more 'plasticky' than the black one). The features on the mobile are what you would expect on a mobile in the price range of the KP500; not too bad but could do with more applications and games. I have however had to send it back once for repair because of a software problem; whenever I went to the music player the mobile froze. This was solved by a firmware update. The 3 inch (not too big, not too small) touchscreen is also very good for what it cost; it is responsive but not as good as the iPhone. Another problem is the battery life. ...The Lg kp 500 or the cookie as its otherwise known really is a fantastic phone. Its fully touch screen and its also quite small in comparison to other touch screen phones out there such as the iphone which is pretty big. LG Cookie KP500: Is it as yummy as a cookie???

I went for the pink option which in my opinion is quite girly and slightly cheapens the look of the phone. ...The LG Cookie is the cheapest fully touchscreen phone on the market at this time. With its fully functional touch screen to rivals all of the more expensive phones even the iPhone. The LG Viewty is the last cheap touch screen phone from LG and one major problem that people said was that it does not have somewhere where you can easily store the stylus for the screen, it may sound petty and unimportant but it sure makes a difference when you can store it in a slot at the bottom. ...The lg cookie (KP500) is the poor mans iphone. When I felt it was time to get a new phone I thought I would look on the review sites, such as ciao and others and every site seemed to say about the lg cookie, so I scoured the net for the price and found it between £90 - £110, thought not too bad, but then on o2 it was £25 pounds a month on a 24 month contract (600 mins + unlimited texts + ps3). Advantages: extremely simple and easy to use, looks slick and professional
Disadvantages: the camera isn't the best- only 3 mega pixel and has no flash

...I've had the LG Cookie for about 3months now and I am pleasantly surprised. To be perfectly honest I originally wanted a Samsung or Sony Ericsson phone but, unfortunately my contract would not stretch to the more top of the range models. Despite my initial disappointment at receiving a 2nd choice phone, I can honestly say I am extremely happy with the performance of my phone. The LG Cookie is available in two colours- pink and black. I chose the black as I found the pink a bit too girly even for me. The Cookie has a very simple menu that even my dear old nan could understand.
