...The LG Cookie is a very good looking, and slim, touch screen phone. It has a TFT resistive touchscreen, 256K colours which is 240 x 400 pixels, 3.0 inches. The phone cool things that come with it such as Accelerometer sensor for auto screen rotating (Like the iPhone or iPod Touch). Handwriting recognition for messaging. The phone uses a MicroSD memory card, i use a 2GB card to store all my games i downloaded. The phone comes with 4 Games but alot more can be downloaded. Ive been using this cell phone since Christmas and i have encountered some slight problems such as my version reboots my settings after so many times of switching the phone on. This problem along with a few more like the Alarms not ringing have been solved with the upgraded version, sadly i cant find a simple way to download and transfer this new version to my phone...

The LG Cookie KP500 is a good quality, touchscreen mobile

Advantages: Very good value for money, good build quality, good touchscreen, decent (3mp) camera
Disadvantages: Battery life (and meter) is not very good, camera does not have flash, limited games and apps

...I have had this mobile for about 7 months so far. It has been (one of the) best mobiles I have bought. It was very good value for money and the build quality is very good (although for some reason the pink version is more 'plasticky' than the black one). The features on the mobile are what you would expect on a mobile in the price range of the KP500; not too bad but could do with more applications and games. I have however had to send it back once for repair because of a software problem; whenever I went to the music player the mobile froze. This was solved by a firmware update. The 3 inch (not too big, not too small) touchscreen is also very good for what it cost; it is responsive but not as good as the iPhone. Another problem is the battery life. It drains rather quickly and the battery meter does not work very well. It will stay...

...The Lg kp 500 or the cookie as its otherwise known really is a fantastic phone. Its fully touch screen and its also quite small in comparison to other touch screen phones out there such as the iphone which is pretty big. LG Cookie KP500: Is it as yummy as a cookie???

I went for the pink option which in my opinion is quite girly and slightly cheapens the look of the phone. The phone is slightly on the bigger size from what I am used to (dimensions being... 106.5 x 55.4 x 11.9 mm) although it still manages to be light weight weighing in at 89 g. The screen is nice and big (3 inch) making the touch screen function from my point of view easy for people even with bigger fingers; although the phone does come with a stylus for those that are slightly clumsy. ...The lg cookie (KP500) is the poor mans iphone. When I felt it was time to get a new phone I thought I would look on the review sites, such as ciao and others and every site seemed to say about the lg cookie, so I scoured the net for the price and found it between £90 - £110, thought not too bad, but then on o2 it was £25 pounds a month on a 24 month contract (600 mins + unlimited texts + ps3). The LG Cookie, is it as sweet as it suggests?

Advantages: touchscreen, nice design, small and light, great battery life
Disadvantages: touchscreen, need to be a ninja spider to text on the move, mundane features.

...When someone mentions the word cookie, i'm still likely to consider it moreso a bakery product than a mobile phone, maybe an strange inuendo at a push but not generally a phone. So it was a little suprising when lg announced the nickname to their KP500 touch screen phone, however a name isn't eveything. So will this phone live up to maryland standard? or will it just end up sitting with the tesco value? (ok, i'll stop with the cookie stuff now, maybe). The first thing that strikes you when you first see the cookie is that how much it just wants you to think it's an iphone, but then you realise that infact lg has made some nice changes to the design to make it in fact better than the behemoth of overpriced phones. ...The LG Cookie is the cheapest fully touchscreen phone on the market at this time. With its fully functional touch screen to rivals all of the more expensive phones even the iPhone. The LG Viewty is the last cheap touch screen phone from LG and one major problem that people said was that it does not have somewhere where you can easily store the stylus for the screen, it may sound petty and unimportant but it sure makes a difference when you can store it in a slot at the bottom.
