LG 37LC2DB
Review of LG 37 LC2DB by
Spen50
Advantages: Good quality all round
Disadvantages: None that I've found yet
...I bought this from Pixelmania (for £150 less than on the high street) after my old CRT TV died.
How good is it, WOW what a difference. Like being sat in a cinema
Tuning was simple, fully auto, or manual if you want to do it yourself. HD ready with integrated Freeview I now have more channels than I know what to do with.
Sound is good NCAM Stereo
The picture is terrific, it's like you are there.
LG's DX engine gives realistic colours and the levels are fully adjustable. Though I found that the default values give a perfect picture.
Loads of ports around the back, 3 scarts, RGB, HDI, etc even a PCMCIA slot.
So would I recommend this TV, too right I would it's a great piece of kit.
But remember you don't have to pay high street prices!...

Fantastic 37"
Review of LG 37LC3R by
emilne82
Advantages: Excellent Image Quality, Value for money
Disadvantages: No digitial freeview built in, instructions
...http://uk.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actType=search&page=1&modelCategoryId= 0102&categoryId=0102&parentId=01&modelCodeDisplay=37LC3R&model=NOTHING
T he 37LC3R from LGEletronics combines style and advanced features that would be found in many higher priced televisions. This 37inch Lcd television has everything that you could possibly want from a high end tv. Having looked around the usual high street electrical outlets and finsinf nothing that we licked we turned out search to the web. After a while we found a great telly with a fantastic specification. The LG 37LC3R.
The only snag was that we had not seen it in real life, unsure if the great specification would translate into a great performing system we were hesitant. . A www.froogle.com search showed that AJEletronics had the telly for £699 and that it was in stock. Five minutes...

Does LG stand for "looks good"??!!
Review of LG L1510A by
jenlaw
Advantages: Looks good, compact design, modern finish
Disadvantages: fairly small screen
...I have had the LG Flatron L1510S for around 6 months now and use it on a daily basis at work. I use it for writing documents and also surfing the net and playing games and of course writing Ciao! reviews in my lunch breaks!
LOOKS
The monitor itself is a good looker in my opinion. It has a silver frame which is about an inch wide the whole way round the screen and the screen area measures roughly 37 cm diagonally and about 14 inches across the bottom of it. I have a standard bulky monitor at home which is a 17 inch screen and the LG1510S really doesn't seem that much smaller. Perhaps because on standard old style monitors the packaging around the screen is generally wider.
EASE OF USE
The monitor is attached to the base using a swivel which enables you to arrange the monitor at the optimum eye level for you to avoid any any...

I would NOT recommend the 37LC46
Review of LG 37LC46 by
mbvs
Advantages: It's OK with an HDMI upscaling DVD Recorder
Disadvantages: Without one, you end up with *downscaled* images, not upscaled
...but with a slight compromise in resolution - but it's better than what you're stuck with with the LG.
It appears the problem with the 37LC46 is that its 'native' resolution is 480i - meaning that a standard UK television picture is not getting UPSCALED by the on-board video processor, but DOWNSCALED - i.e. to a 'proto-NTSC' 525-line analogue equivalent picture (and at 60Hz too which makes movement look jerky). In fact, when I switch the Philips DVDR to 480i I get exactly the same picture on the 37LC46 that it gives on its built-in DVB-T tuner or directly from SCART inputs, and indeed it goes back to 480i if I ever power-cycle the DVDR because that's the 'resolution negotiation' that gets sent over the HDMI. I can't send it back because it's not 'faulty' as such, but if I'd known that I'd have to spend another £150 on another device to get it to show...

LG Flatron L1720B A classie item

I had just bought a new dell computer, which came with a standard bulky monitor. Although it looked fine I only had a small shelf to put it on so I was left with no room for keyboard and mouse, which I had to balance on my lap to use. So I knew that a flat screen of some kind would be what I needed. So off I went to look and price up what I needed.
The first thing I noticed about this monitor was its looks. I must admit I was taken in be its smart sleek...

LG KE970 Shine
Review of LG Black Label Shine KE970 by
iamthebest1
Advantages: Grt stylish design.
Disadvantages: Costly
...---------------------
LG KE970 Shine
---------------------
LG are at it again coming to us with another incredible mobile phone, which is quite astonishing. The new LG KE970 Shine is the first of the shiny devices from the Korean manufacturer. It really does have some serious horsepower in this thing and is one of the most advanced GSM handsets by LG and quite obviously from the images below the most attractive. The phone comes with a huge amount of features from the 2 mega pixel camera with auto focus right the way don to the microsd memory card. This is most defiantly going to grab the attention of even the best mobile users.
Below are some of the key features that this phone presents us with:
- Stylish all metal design with a mirror finish display
- QVGA display resolution
- 2 mega pixel auto focus camera with Schneider...

LG 42LG5000 - Made to be hung on the wall
Review of LG 42LG5000 by
combatcookie
Advantages: Aesthetically Pleasing, Great Sound, Power Saving Features
Disadvantages: Standard Resolution lacks in clarity
...clarity and brightness that shines through. The standard definition images do let it down a bit, with a lack of detail and some dull areas.
<<< Sound Quality >>>
The best feature for me is an invisible speaker system, which incorporates speakers in strategic spots around the entire bezel so that they're completely hidden from view, giving the set a clean and compact appearance. Its benefits aren't just visual though. LG reckons this style of speaker system in the bezel generates a wall of sound that offers a wider sweet spot. I concur. The sound quality is fantastic, wherever you sit you get a great stereo sound with the occaisional directional sound thrown in. Top marks for this.
<<< Remote Control >>>
The remote is well built and robust and using it couldn't be simpler. Yes there are a load of buttons on the remote though...

Shiny Happy LG owner :)
Review of LG Black Label Shine KE970 by
susrim
Advantages: A very attractive phone- lots of features
Disadvantages: Picks up finger marks easily
...The LG KE970 'Shine' Mobile phone
I've recently traded my faithful old LG chocolate for the LG KE970, also known as the LG Shine. After having my previous phone a year- I was so impressed with LG as mobile phone providers it felt an obvious choice to stick with LG and upgrade to the Shine from LG's 'Black Label' series.
It can be bought from most stores/websites that sell mobile phones and depending on which network you are wanting it on- the price can range from 100pounds right upto 170pounds- and of course if you purchase this along with a contract it would be free.
Who are LG?
LG are an electronics company that started business in 1958- However it hasn't always been known as LG- it started its life as 'Goldstar'and it wasn't until 1995 when it became the brand we all know now. The company was founded in Korea...
